ትዝታ፦የሰሜን አሜሪካን የእግር ክዋስ ፈደሬሽን ከተጀመረ ይኸው 33ኛው ዓመቱን ይዝዋል። ታሪካዊ አመጣጡን በአጭሩ ቢገልጹልን?

አቶ ሽመልስ፦የኢትዮጵያውያን ስፖርት ፌደሬሽን በሰሜን አሜሪካ በ1984 ዓ.ም. በአራት ክለቦች ማለትም በዳላስ በዋሽንግተን ዲ.ሲ.፣ በሂውስተንና በአትላንታ አማካኝነት ተመሠረተ። ይኽንን ድርጅት ለመፍጠር ዋናው መነሻ በወቅቱ ብዛት ያላቸው ኢትዮጵያውያኖች ከውድ እናት

ሐገራቸው ተሰደው ከሚወዱትና ከሚናፍቁት ዘመድ አዝማድ ተነጥለው፤ ከሚኮሩበትና ከሚመኩበት ሐገር ርቀው በባይታወርነት ከሚኖሩበት የባዕድ ሐገር ውስጥ በአንድ ላይ ተገናኝተው ውድና አኩሪ የሆነውን ኢትዮዽያዊ በህላቸውንና ወጋቸውን በጋራ በዓመት አንድ ጊዜ ተገናኝተው የሚያንፀበርቁበትን ሁኔታ ለመፍጠር ያመቻቸው ዘንድ ይኽንን የኢትዮዽያውያን ስፖርት ፌደሬሽን በሰሜን አሜሪካ ለመመሥረት በቁ። እነሆ አሁን ድርጅቱ ከተመሠረተ 33ኛውን ዓመቱን እያከበረ ነው። 33ት ዓመት ማለት ደግሞ አንድ ሕፃን ተወልዶ አድጎ ትዳር መሥርቶ ለቁም ነገር የሚበቃበት ጊዜ ነው። ድርጅቱ ሲመሠረት የተወለዱ ሕፃናት በአሁኑ ወቅት በተጫዋችነት ብቻ ሳይሆን በድርጅቱ ውስጥ በቦርድ አባልነት ብቻ ሳይሆን በሥራ አስኪያጅነት ጭምር ተመርጠው በማገልገል ላይ ይገኛሉ። እናም ፌደሬሽናችን ከአንድ ትውልድ ወደ ሌላ ትውልድ የተሸጋገረ ሁሉም ኢትዮዽያውያን ሊኮሩበትና ሊመኩበት የሚችል ከዚያም አልፈው ሊንከበከቡትም የሚገባ ድርጅት ነው እላለሁ። ከዚህ ላይ መጨመር የምወደው በዚህ የ 33 ዓመት ጉዞ ውስጥ ሁሉም ነገሮች የተመቻቹና አልጋ በአልጋ የሆኑ አልነበሩም ። ብዙ መሰናክሎችና ጋሬጣዎች አጋጥመውታል፤ አንዳንዶቹ መለስተኛ ሲሆኑ ሌሎቹ ደግሞ ለህልውናው የሚያሳስቡ ነበሩ ሆኖም ሁሉንም ችግሮች በጥሞና በማጤን በለዘበና በሰከነ መንፈስ፣ በመቻቻል በመተሳሰብና በመከበበር ከሁሉም በላይ ደግሞ ይኼንን ምትክ የማይገኝለትን ታሪካዌ ድርጅት ህልውና ማስጠበቅና ከትውልድ ትውልድ የማሸጋገር ኃላፊነት ተቀዳሚ ስራው አድርጎ በመቻቸል በመከበበር እየሰራ በአሁኑ ወቅት ከመቸውም ጊዜ በበለጠ ተጠክሮና ተራጅቶ ይገኛል። ይኽንን ስል ወደ ፊት ችግሮችና ድክመቶች አይከሰቱም ለማለት ሳይሆን ድርጅቱ ከአለፋት ድክመቶቹና ስህተቶቹ እየተማረ ድክመቶቹን ሙሉ በሙሉ ያስወግዳልም ለማለት ሳይሆን አብዛኛውን ለመቅረፍና ግልጽነት የተሞላበት አሠራር በመከተል የሚያደርገው ጥረት እሰየው ሊያስብለውና ሊበረታታም ይገበል። ስለ ፌደሬሽኑ --የማደንቃቸው ነገሮች በርግጥ በዚህ አጭር ቃለ መጠይቅ ቀርቶ በመጽሐፍም እንኳን ዘርዝሮ ለማስቀመጥ የሚበቃ አይመስለኝም። በአጭሩ ለማስቀመጥ ፤ በየአመቱ በሚደረገው ዝግጅት በብዙ ሺህ የሚቆጠሩ ኢትዮዽያውያንን በአንድ ቦታ በማሰበሰብ ኢትዮዽያዊ ባህላቸውንና ወጋቸውን ታሪካቸውንም ጭምር ለሌላው

ዓለም እንዲያንፀበርቁ መድረኩን ፈጥሯል። በየዓመቱ ዝግጅት በአደረግንበቸው ከተሞች ሁሉ የኢትዮዽያውያን ሳምንት ተብሎ በማሰየም የኢትዮዽያ ሰንደቅ ዓላማ ሳምንቱን በሙሉ በሲቲው ጽ/ቤት በክብር ከፍ ብሎ እንዲውለበለብ አድርገናል። በየዓመቱ በሚደረገው ዝግጅት ለውድ ሐገራችን በኳሱም ይሁን በአትሌትክሱ እንዲሁም በማኅበራዊ ጉዳዮች ላይ ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦና ታሪክ ለሰሩ ለሀራችንም ሆነ ለሕዝብዋ ኩራትና ክብር ላጎናጸፉ ብርቅየ የኢትዮዽያ ልጆች ውለታቸውን ለመመለስ፥ ምሰስጋናችን ለማቅረብ ለብዙ ኢትዮዽያውያን በክብር እንግዳነት በመጋበዝ ለውለታቸው ሽልማትና ምስጋና አቅርበናል። በጥቂቱ ለመጥቀስ፦ ወንግስቱ ወርቁ፣ ተስፋየ ስዩም (ወሎ)፣ አዳሙ አለሙ፣ ኮሚሽነር ይድነቃቸው ሰማ፣ ማሞ ወልዴ፣ ጋሽ ግርማ ቸሩ፣ ድራርቱ ቱሉ፣ ሎሬት ፀጋየ ገ/ሠድህን፣ ፕሮፌሰር አስራት ወልደየስ፣ ጌታቸው አበበ (ዱላ-)፣ ሃይሌ ገ/ስላሴ፣ ጥላሁን ገሠሠ፣ ዳኛ ብርቱካን መደቅሳ፤ ቃኛው ቅጣው፣ ሜይትር አፈወርቅ ተክሌ፣ ጌታቸው ወልዴ፣ ከበደ መተታፈሪያ፣ ምሩጽ የይፍጠር፣ ንጉሤ ገብሬ፣ አዋድ ሙሐመድ፣ ዋሚ ቢራቱናም ብዙዎች ናቸው...

ትዝታ፦በቶሮንቶ በሃምሌ ውስጥ ለሚደረገው ታላቅ ዝግጅት ዓላማና ተግባር እንዲሁም አንባቢያን ማወቅ አለባቸው የሚሉትን ዝግጅት ቢያብራሩልን?

አቶ ሽመልስ፦በአጠቃላይ መንፈሱ የኢትዮዽያውያን የስፖርት ፌደሬሽን በሰሜን አሜሪካ ዋናው ተቀዳሚ ዓላማው ኢትዮዽያውያኖችን በዘር፣ በኃይማኖት፣ በፆታ፣ በጎሳ ሳይለይ ስፖርቱን ምክንያት በማድረግ ለአንድ ሳምንት ሁሉንም በአንድ ላይ በማገናኘት አኩሪ የሆነውን በህላችንን በጋራ ለቀሪው ዓለም የምናስተዋውቅበት መድረክ ለመፍጠር ነው። በዘንድሮው የቶሮንቶ ዝግጅትም የሚንፀበረቀው ይኸው ነው። በዚህ ለአንድ ሳምንት በሚቆየው የኢትዮጵያውያን የመገናኛ መድረክ አማካኝነት፣ ከሐገር ውጭ በስደት ወይንም በተለያዩ ምክያቶች ለብዙ ዓመታት ተለያይተው የቆዮን ዘመድ አዝማዶች ወዳጆችና ፍቅረኞች ለማገናኘት በቅተናል፣ አዲስ ጎደኞችም እንዲያፈሩ ትዳርም እንዲመሰርቱ ምክንያት ሆኖናል።

ትዝታ፦እንደሚታወቀው የእግር ክዋስ አዘጋጅቶ መጫወት ብቻ ሳይሆን ባሕላዊና ኢትዮጵያዊነትን ያንጸባርቃል፣ ለተመልካቹም መዝናናትና መተዋወቂያ እንዲሁም የአገር ምግቦቻና የመሳሰሉት ያስፈልገዋል ስለዚህ ዝግጅት ለአንባቢያን ቢያብራሩል?

አቶ ሽመልስ፦እንደገለጽከው ይኼ ዝግጅት የኳስ ብቻ ሳይሆን ቀደም ብዬ እንደገለጽኩት ኢትዮጵያዊ በሕላን የምናፀበርቅበት በተለይም ታዳጊና ወጣት ልጆቻችንና ለልጅ ልጆቻችን በባህላቸውና በታሪካቸው ሊኮሩ የሚችሉበትን መድረክ መፍጠር ነው ። ይኽንንም አስመልክቶ ፥ ከሳምንቱ ውስጥ አንዱን ቀን የኢትዮዽያውያን ቀን ተብሎ እንዲሰየም በማድረግ ድንቅና ብርቅ የሆኑ ወደር የማይገኝላቸውን የባሕልና የዘመናዊ ተወናያኖችና ድምፃውያን በማቅረብ ትንሽ ትልቅ ሳይል ሁሉንም ለማዝናናት በቅተናል ። ማዝናናት በአሻገር በአረንግዋዴ፣ ቢጫና ቀይ ሰንደቅ ዓላማችን ከዳር እስከ ዳር በአሸበረቀው ሜዳ ውስጥ በአካል ተቀምጠው በመንፈስ ግን ሜዳና ሸንተረሩን አቅዋርጠው፣ በተራራው ግርዶሽ ስር፣ አፈር ፈጭተው፣ ጭቃ አቡክተው ካደጉበት መንደር ደርሰው በትዝታ ዓለም ውስጥ ዋዥቀው በህሊናቸው ውስጥ ለረጅም ጊዜ የማይጠፋ ትውስታ መስረጽ ችለናል። በበአሉ የመክፈቻ ቀንም ከኢትዮዽያ ቀን በአልተናነሰ የአማረና የደመቀ፣ ውብ የሆነ ዝግጅት አለን፣ ትዝታ ይቀሰቅሳል፣ የልብ

ትርታዎን ያለ መለኪያ የሚያዳምጡበት ቀን ነው። በኢትዮጵያዊነትዎም ይኮራሉ።

ትዝታ፦ዘንድሮ የ33ኛው የስሜን አሜሪካ የእግር ክዋስ ፌዴሬሽን በቶሮንቶ የሚዘጋጀውን ለመካፈል ብዙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ከአሜሪካና ከሌላ ዓለም ይመጣሉ ተብሎ ይጠበቃል። ስለዚህም ቪዛና ኢሚግሬሽን ሌላም ጉዳይ ይኖራል? ምን ዝግጅት አድርጋችዋል?

አቶ ሽመልስ፦በዚህ ዓመት በቶሮንቶ ለሚደረገው 33ኛው የኢትዮዽያውያኀ ዓመታዊው የስፖርትና የባህል ፌሶትቭል ላይ ለመሳተፍ በብዙ ሺህ የሚቆጠሩ ታዳሚዎች ከተለያዩ የካናዳ ከተማዎች ፥ ከአሜሪካና ከተለያዩ አህጉሪት ወደ ውድ ከተማችን ለመምጣት በዝግጅት ላይ እንደሆኑ ይታወቃል። ጉዟቸው የተመቸ ይሆን ዘንድ ፌደሬሽኑ ለእንግዶቻችን የቪዛና የኢሚግሬሽንን ጉዳይ አስመልክቶ በቅድሚያ ማወቅ የሚገበቸውንና ምን ማድረግ እንደሚገበቸው አስፈላጊውን መረጃ በፌደሬሽኑ በድህረ ገጹ ላይ በቶሮንቶ አዘጋጅ ኮሚቴ አባልና የሕግ አማካሪ በጠበቃ ተክለሚካኤል አበበ አማካኝነት ተቀነባብሮ የሠፈረ በመሆኑ ወደ ድህረ ገጹ በመግባት አስፈላጊውን መረጃ እንደሚያገኙ እየጠቆምኩ በዚህ አጋጣሚ ከውድ ጊዜው ላይ ቆጥቦ ይኼንን መረጃ ስለአቀነባበረልን ከልብ የመነጨ ምስጋናየን በራሴና በአዘጋጅ ኮሚቴው ስም ምስጋናየን ላቀርብ እወዳለሁ። ትዝታ፦የዘንድሮ የቶሮንቶ ተሰላፊ ቡድን ዝግጅቱ ምን ይመስላል? በአሸናፊነት የዋንጫው ባለቤት ይሆናል ብለው ይገምታሉ?

ሽመልስ፦በዘንድሮው የቶሮንቶ 33ኛው ዝግጅት ላይ የኢትዮ ስታርስ ቶሮንቶ ክለብ የዘንድሮው ዋንጫ ባለቤት ለመሆን ከወዲሁ አስፈላጊውን ዝግጅት በማድረግ ላይ ይገኛል። እንደሚታወቀው ይኼ ዓመታዊ ዝግጅት ቶሮንቶ ላይ ሲዘጋጅ አሁኑ 3ኛ ጊዜው ነው፣ የመጀመሪያው በ1992 ዓ.ም. ሲሆን 2ኛው ደግሞ በ2000 ዓ.ም. ነበር። በ2000 ዓ.ም. በተደረገው ክለበችን የአንደኝነትን ማዕረግ በመያዝ ዋንጫው ባለቤት ሲሆን የዘንድሮውም ዋንጫ ባለቤትም እንደሚሆን ጥርጥር የለኝም። በዚህ አጋጣሚ የቶሮንቶና አካባቢ ኗሪዎች በሙሉ ወደ ሜዳ በመምጣት ከፍ ያለ የሞራል ድጋፍ እንድትሰጡ ከወዲሁ ጥሪዬን አቀርበአለሁ። እዚህ ላይ መጨመር የምወደው፣ የቶሮንቶ ቢዝነስ ኮሞዩኒቲውንና ግለሰቦች ጭምር ለክለቡ እስከ አሁን ድረስ በሞራልም ሆነ በገንዘብ እርዳታ ለአረጋችሁ በሙሉ ምስጋናችን ይድረሳችሁ። ሌላው ማመስገን የምወደው ይኼን የዘንሮውን ዝግጅት ከ 16 ዓመት በኃላ ቶሮንቶ ላይ እንዲዘጋጅ ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ ላደረጉት የክለቡ መሪዎች ለአቶ ሱራፌል፣ ለአቶ ስንታየሁ፣ ለአቶ ሲሳይ፣ አቶ ዳዊት እዲሁም ለአቶ ዘወንጌልና ለተጫዋቾቹ በሙሉ ከፍ ያለ ምስጋናን አቀርበአለሁ። በመጨረሻ ዝግጅቱ ያማረና የደመቀ እንዲሆን ዉድ ጊዜአቸውን እያበረከቱ ላሉት የ2016 ዓመታዊው የስፖርትና የባህል ዝግጅት በቶሮንቶ አዘጋጅ ኯሚቴና ኮሚኒቲውን ለማመስገን እወዳለሁ።

ትዝታ፦በመጨረሻ ይህ ታላቅ የእግር ክዋስ ጨዋታ አድራሻ ለበለጠ ለመረዳት ስልክ ቁጥር ፋክስን ኢሜል ሌላም መረጃ ከላ ለህዝቡ ብትለግሱ?

አቶ ሽመልስ፦መጨረሻ ስለዚህ የ33ኛው ዓመታዊ የባህልና የስፖርት ዝግጅት በበለጠ ለመረዳትና መረጃ ማግኘት ለሚፈልጉ ሁሉ በፌዴሽኑ ድህረ ገጽ በመግባት ማንኛውንም ማስረጃ ማግኘት የምትችሉ መሆኑን ለመግለጽ እወዳለሁ።

TORONTO (AP) -- Toronto fans chanted 'We Want Cleveland!' in the final seconds. They got it.

Kyle Lowry scored 35 points, DeMar DeRozan had 28 and the Raptors beat the Miami Heat 116-89 in Game 7 on Sunday to advance to the conference finals for the first time in franchise history.

Bismack Biyombo added 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Raptors. They'll open the Eastern Conference finals in Cleveland against LeBron James and the Cavaliers on Tuesday night.

"It's great to hear the home crowd," DeRozan said. "This organization deserves it, this country deserves it, to see them get to the next step, somewhere they haven't been. But we're not done yet."

After struggling for much of the playoffs, Lowry and DeRozan were in top form for Game 7. Lowry made 11 of 20 shots, including five of seven from 3-point range, and DeRozan connected on 12 of 29 attempts. Lowry had nine assists and seven rebounds, DeRozan had eight rebounds.

"We never doubted Kyle and DeMar," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. "They're our All Stars and they both played like it tonight. They both stepped up and carried us."

DeMarre Carroll scored 14 points, and Patrick Patterson had 11 to help the Raptors become the 15th team in NBA history to win two Game 7s in one postseason. Toronto beat Indiana in the first round.

ሲኖዶስ ዋና ጸሀፊ ቡራኬና ቃለ ምዕዳን ሰተው ታቦተ ሕጉ ወደ መንበረ ክብሩ በክብር ተመልሷል።በመጨርሻም በሊቢያ በአለፈው ዓመት የተሰውትን ክርስቲያን ወንድሞቻችንን ሰማዕታትን በሳውዝ አፍሪካ በእሳት እንዲቃጠሉ የተደረጉትን በመርከብ ወደ ስደት ዓለም ሲጓዙ በባህር ሰምጠው የቀሩትን ኢትዮጵያውያን ወንድምና እህቶች ለመዘከር በቤተክርስትያኑ የተሠራውን የሰማዕታት ሀውልት በብፁዕ አቡነ መልከጸዴቅ በስደት ላይ ያለው የሕጋዊው የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስትያን ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ ዋና ጸሀፊ ተባርኮ ተመረቀ።

በበዓሉ ፍጻሜ ላይ የተዘጋጀውን ምግብ ምእመናኑ በነፃ ተጋብዘዋል የተዘጋጀውንም የብር ኢዮቤልዩ ክብረ በዓል ኬክ ሊቀ ካህናት ምሳሌ እንግዳ የመንበረ ብርሃን ቅድስት ማርያም መሥራችና ዋና አስተዳዳሪ ባርከው ቆርሰዋል። በመጨረሻም በብፁዕ አቡነ መልከጸዴቅ በስደት ላይ ያለው የሕጋዊው የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስትያን ቅዱስ ሲኖዶስ ዋና ጸሀፊ አባታዊ ቡራኬ ሰተዋል።የ፳፭ኛ በዓል አከባበር ዝግጅት እንዲረዳ ብዙ ምዕመናኖች እርዳታ አበርክተዋል ከነዚህም ውስጥ በዓለም እውቅናና ዝናን ያተረፈው አርቲስት አቤል ተስፋዪ (The WEEKND) በቅድስት ማርያም ጥምቀቱን ያደረገና በልጅነቱ ይመላለስበት ለነበረው ቤተክርስትያን

ይገረም አለሙ ያለምንም ተወዳዳሪ ብቻውን ለምርጫ የቀረበ ይመስል ወያኔ መቶ በመቶ አሸነፈ ተብሎ በጉዳይ አስፈጻሚው ምርጫ ቦርድ የተነገረበትና በአንድ ወንበር ስሙ ይጠራ የነበረውን የተቃውሞ ጎራ ጠራርጎ ከፓርላማ ያስወጣበት ግዜ አንሆ አንድ ዓመት ሞላው፡፡ ይህ ውጤት በኢትዮጵያ ዴሞክራሲ ብሎ ነገር አለመኖሩን ብቻ ሳይሆን ከዚህ በኋላም በወያኔ የሥልጣን ዘመን አይታሰቤ መሆኑን ያረጋገጠ ቢሆንም አንደ ነገሩ ክብደትና ክፋት የተሰጠው ትኩረት አምብዛም ነው፡፡ ሰለ ዴሞክራሲ የሚያወሩት፣ ስለ መድብለ ፓርቲ ፖለቲካ የሚሰብኩት መንግሥታት የወያኔ መቶ በመቶ አሸናፊነት ሲያስቃቸው እንጂ ሲያስጨንቃቸው አላያንም፤ የምርጫውን በሰላም መጠናቀቅ ሲመሰክሩ እንጂ የውጤቱን ኢ-ዴሞክራሲያዊነትና አደጋ ጋባዥነት ሲናገሩ አልሰማንም፡፡ወዳጅነታቸውን ማጥባቸውን እንጂ ከዴሞክራሲ ተለያይታችሁ ከእኛ አትወዳጁም ሲሉ አልታዘብንም፡፡ የወያኔን ምርጫ በማጀብ ምርጫው ሰላማዊ ነው እንዲባል ያበቁት ፓርቲ ነን ባዮችም ቢሆኑ ከአንድ ሰሞን የተለመደ ጩኸትና ጫጫታ በስተቀር ያሉትም የሰሩትም ነገር የለም፡፡Ethiopian Election ወያኔ ግን እየሰራ ነው፡፡ ሲመቸው በፍጥነት፣አልመች ሲለው እያዘገመ፣ ግን ወደ ፊት ደደቢት ሆኖ ወደ አለመው ግቡ እየተጓዘ ነው፡፡ከእንግዲህ በምንም መልኩ ሥልጣኑን እንዳያጣ እየገደለም እየደለለም፤ እያስፈራራም ይቅርታ እየጠየቀም፤ እየሾመ እየሻረ አንዳንዶቹን የጭዳ ዶሮ እያደረገም ቀጥሏል፡፡ ከመቼውም ግዜ ይልቅ ውሾቹም ይጮኻሉ ግመሉም ይሄዳል ማለት አሁን ነው። የተቃውሞው ጎራ ግን ያው ነው፤ እንደ ቡና ውኃ እያደር የሚያንስ እንጂ ባለበት አድሮ እንኳን የማይገኝ፡፡ ይህን ስል ወያኔን በሚገባው ቋንቋ ማነጋር ብለው የተሰለፉትን፣ መነጣጠሉ አልጠቀመንም ብለው አንድ ወደ መሆን የመጡትን በመረሳት አይደለም፡፡አጠቃላይ የተቃውሞው ጎራ እንቅስቃሴ ሲጤን ሕዝብ እየከፈለ ካለው መስዋዕትነትና ወያኔ ወደ ግቡ ከሚያደርገው ፈጣን ጉዞ እንዲሁም ሀገርና ትውልድ ከሚገኙበት ፈጣን የቁልቁለት መንገድ አኳያ በቂም ተመጣጣኝም አለመሆኑ እንጂ፡፡ በደርግ የሽንፈት ምክንያትነት ወያኔ ኢትዮጵያዉያንን መቶ በመቶ ያሸነፈው በ1983 ዓም ቢሆንም በተለያዩ የማስመሰያ ቃላቶችና ድርጊቶች እየሸፋፈነ እስከ 1987 ዓም ቆይቶ ነበር፡፡ ዋንኛ ሽፋን ሆኖ ሲያገለግለው የነበረው ምርጫ የሽፋን አገልግሎቱ በ2007 የተጠናቀቀ ቢሆንም ወያኔ ግን ለጉልበት አገዛዙ ቡራኬ ማግኛ ሌላ ምርጫም አማራጭም የለውምና ጊዜውን እየጠበቀ ምርጫ ማድረጉ አልቀረም፡፡ ፖለቲከኞቻችንም ማሸነፉ ቀርቶ የፓርላማን ደጅ ላይረግጡ፣ በአጃቢነት እየተሰለፉ ማድመቅ መቀጠላቸው አልቀረም፡፡ ዕድሜ ከሰጠን ከሶስት ዓመት በኋላም ይህንኑ እናያለን፡፡ የታውሞው ጎራ በምርጫ 92 ከአስር በላይ የፓርላማ ወንበር፣ በምርጫ 97 ደግሞ ከመቶ በላይ ወንበር ማግኘቱ ለወያኔ ቀስ በቀስ እንቁላል በእግሯ ትሄዳለች ነው የሆነበት፡፡ እሱ ለማስመሰል በሚያካሂደው ምርጫ ተቃዋሚዎች እየተጠናከሩ ሕዝቡም ምርጫ ኮሮጆ ውስጥ በሚከታት አንድ ድምጹ ለውጥ ማምጣት እንደሚችል እየተለማመደ መሄዱ ከቀጠለ አንድ ቀን ሥልጣን ወይንም ሞት ብሎ ከያዘው ወንበር በምርጫ ካርድ ተገፍትሮ አንደሚወርድ ግልጽ ሆኖ እንደታየውና ስጋት አንደፈጠረበት በምርጫ 97 ሽንፈቱን ከቀለበሰበት ድርጊቱ ባሻገር ከዛ በኋላ በተካሄዱ ሁለት ምርጫዎች የፈጸማቸው ተግባራት በቂ ምስክሮች ናቸው፡፡ በምርጫ 2002 አዲስ አበባ ከመሳለሚያ አካባቢ አቶ ግርማ ሰይፉ አሸንፈው ሾልከው ፓርላማ መግባታቸው የወያኔ ምርጫ የማስመሰያ ድራማ የመሆኑን ሀቅ ሙሉ ለሙሉ ከመጋለጥ አድኖት ነበር፡፡ ምንም ተወዳዳሪ ያልነበረበት ምርጫ ያስመሰለው የ2007 የመቶ በመቶ አሸናፊነት ውጤት ግን ያመስመሰያ ካባውን ሙሉ ለሙሉ ገፎ ጣለው፡፡ ነገር ግን ከድርጊቱ ኢ-ዴሞክራሲያዊነት እና ወደ ፊት ሊያስከትል ከሚችለው ችግር አንጻር ሲታይ ከውስጥም ሆነ ከውጪ የገጠመው ተቃውሞ እዚህ ግባ የሚባል አይደለም፡፡ ከሁሉ በላይ ለወያኔም የልብ ልብ የሚሰጠው ለአለም አቀፉ ማህበረሰብም ትኩረት ማጣት ምክንያት የሚሆነው

የመቶ በመቶ የምርጫ ውጤት – አንደኛ ዓመትአልማዝ ካነበብችው የላከችልን ከቶሮንቶ

ምርጫ ተወዳደርን ብለው መቶ በመቶ መሸነፋቸው የተነገራቸው ፖለቲከኞች በዛ ቁጭት አድሮባቸው፣ አልህም ገብቶአቸው፣ መስቃ መሮአቸው፣ ከሆነው ተምረው የተሻለ ለመስራት አለመነሳሳታቸው ነው፡፡ ለአንድ ሳምንት የተለመደ ምርጫው ተጭበርብሯል ጩኸታቸውን ጮኹ በቃ! ከአንድ አመት ጉዞአቸው አንደታዘብነው ከዛ በኋላ እንደልማዳቸው እስከሚቀጥለው ምርጫ 20012 ላይሰሙ ላይለሙ ተከናበው የተኙ ነው የሚመስሉት ፡፡ በርግጥ ለአንዳንዶቹ ለእነርሱም አንደ ወያኔ ምርጫ እድሜ ማረዘሚያ መድሀኒታቸው ይመስላል፡፡ ሌላ ቢቀር የአራት አመት ቀለብ ያገኙበታል፡፡እልሞትኩም አለሁ ፉከራ ያሰሙበታል፤ በየኤምባሲው ይጋበዙበታል፣ወዘተ ስለሆነም አልቻልኩም ብለው አይለቁም፤በቃኝ ብለው ጡረታ አይወጡም፣ ወይንም በግል ተጠናከረው አለያም ተባብረው ከምቾት ባሻገር ለመታገል ወስነው ከራስ በላይ ሀገር ብለው ጠንካራ ተፎካካሪ መሆንን አያልሙም፡፡ ብቻ እንዳሉ ሆነው በያዙት የፓርቲ ሥልጣን እየተጠሩ መኖር፡፡ ምርጫ የአንድ ሰሞን ተግባር አይደለም፡፡ የአንድ አመት ክንውን ውጤትም አይደለም፡፡ አምስት አመትም በቂው አይደለም፡፡ ራዕይ ያለው ለሀገር የሚጠቅም ፕሮግራም የነደፈ ይህንንም ተግባራዊ ለማድረግ ትግሉን ሰላማዊ፣ ግቡን ስልጣን መያዝ ያደረገ ሀይል ትግሉን ከጀመረበት እለት አንስቶ የሚያከናውነው እያንዳንዱ የእለት ተእለት እንቅስቃሴው በዚሁ ላይ የተመሰረተ መሆን አለበት፡፡ በሰላማዊ ትግል ሥልጣን መያዝ የሚቻለው በምርጫ ብቻ እንደመሆኑ ራስን ለብቁ የምርጫ ተወዳዳሪነት ከማዘጋጀት በተጨማሪ ከምርጫ ጋር ተዛምዶ ያላቸው ጥያቄዎች መነሳት ያለባቸውም ሆነ ተቃውሞዎች መሰማት ያለባቸው በምርጫው ዋዜማ ሳይሆን አራት ዓመቱን ሙሉ ውጤት እስከሚገኝ ድረስ ነው፡፡ በምርጫ ሥልጣን ለመያዝ ነጻና ፍትሀዊ ምርጫ መኖር አለበት፡፡ ለዚህ ደግሞ ገለልተኛ ምርጫ አስፈጻሚ ተቋም፣ነጻ የፍትህ ስርዓት፣አሳታፊ የፖለቲካ ምህዳር ወዘተ ያስፈልጋል፡፡ ስለሆነም በምርጫ ለሥልጣን ለመብቃት የሚያስቡ ኃይሎች ቀዳሚውና ወሳኙ ተግባራቸው እነዚህ ሶስቱ ተግባራዊ እንዲሆኑ መታገል ነው፡፡ ይህ ደግሞ በምርጫ ዋዜማ የሚሆን አይደለም፡፡ወያኔ መቶ በመቶ ያሸነፈው ምርጫ ቦርድ ገለልተኛ ባለመሆኑ፣ የፖለቲካ ምህዳሩ በመጥበቡ እንደሆነና ውጤቱን ባለመቀበልም ወደ ፍርድ ቤት ያልሄዱት ነጻ የፍትህ አካል ባለመኖሩ አንደሆነ የሚናገሩት ፖለቲከኞች እነዚህ እስካልተለወጡ ድረስ መቼም ሆነ መቼ በምርጫ ማሸነፍ ብሎ ነገር እንደማይኖር እያወቁ ይህን ለመለወጥ ባለፈው አንድ አመት አንድም ነገር ሲያደርጉ አልታዩም፡ወይንም በየምርጫዎቹ ወቅቶች ሞከርን ወያኔ ለዴሞክራሲያዊ ምርጫ ዝግጁ ባለመሆኑ አልቻልንም ብለው ሕዝቡ የራሱን ምርጫና አማራጭ አንዲፈልግ ከመድረኩ ገለል አላሉም፡፡ መቶ በመቶ መሸነፋቸው እንደተነገራቸው ከማግስቱ ጀምረው ቢችሉ ተነጋግረውና ተባብረው ባይችሉ በየራሳቸው በቂ ጥናት አድርገው ስራ መጀመር የነበረባቸው ፖለቲከኞች ባለፈው አንድ ኣመት እንዳየናቸውና እንደሰማናቸው ከሆነ ለመጪው ምርጫ ሊሰሩ ቀርቶ ያለፈ ሽንፈታቸውንም የረሱት ነው የሚመስሉት፡፡ ምን ይሄ ብቻ በምርጫው ምክንያት የተገደሉ፤የታሰሩ ቤታቸው የፈረሰ ቤተሰባቸው የተበተነ አባሎቻቸውንም ረስተዋቸዋል፡፡ ህም ይሆኖ ግን በስራቸው አያፍሩም ሕዝብንም አይፈሩምና አራት አመት ተኝተው ከርመው የወያኔ የምርጫ ደወል ሲደወል የእነርሱም ጩኸት ይጀምራል፡፡ በምርጫ ለማሸነፍ አይደለም የተወሰነ የፓርላማ ወንበር ለማግኘት የሚያበቃቸው ሁኔታ እንደሌለ እያወቁም የአንድ ሰሞን ከበሮ እየደለቁ ምርጫ ይገባሉ፡፡ አባልና ደጋፊውን አስገድለው አሳስረው ምርጫው ተጭበርብሯል የሚለውን የተለመደ ጩኸታቸውን ለአንድ ሳምንት ያሰሙና ወደ ተለምዶ ህይወታቸው ይመለሳሉ፡፡ እስከ 2012 ተአምር ተፈጥሮ በኢትዮጵያ ለውጥ ካልመጣ የማስመሰያ ምርጫው ይደረግና ወያኔ በአውራ ፓርቲነቱ ፓርቲ ተብየዎቹ በስመ ተቀዋሚነታቸው ሕዘቡም (እኛ) በግዞቱ ይቀጥላሉ፡፡

By: Mulat Adane Abaye It is up to the citizen’s interest to involve in any political affairs. Staff of any academ-ic institutions can involve in their nation’s politics. But, their involvement shouldn’t affect the realization of the institutions’ vi-sion and mission. As indicated by schol-ars, incorporating political interests in Academic Institutions’ decision making can make their business difficult to man-age. This is what is really happening now in Ethiopian Academic Institutions. Staffs, without their interest, are forced in differ-ent ways to actively involved in the politics of the ruling party.

Consequently, the active involvement of the teachers in politics than on their major duties and responsibility, effective teaching and learning process, is contributing much for the deterioration of the quality of ed-ucation in the nation --- quality has gone down. Teachers waste their time in doing unnecessary activities which is more relat-ed with political issues rather than academ-ic issues. And this has a negative impact on quality of education.

In other words, teachers in the country are openly required to be members of Ethio-pian Peoples’ Revolutionary Democratic Front. Such systematic application of party ideology has seriously undermined aca-demic freedom and quality of education in the country and injected an atmosphere of fear in the education system.

For example, almost in all governmental academic institutions all over the nation, school principals, college Deans and uni-versity presidents are assigned ONLY if they are members of the ruling party. And, this is affecting the administrative autonomy to the academic institutions and refrains from politicizing education, the quality of educa-tion in the country will further deteriorate in the coming years leading to a deeper so-

Political Activities in Ethiopian Academic Institutions cial and political crisis. In Ethiopia, academic freedom has not guarantee; and governmental power has been used to turn the educational system into an institution that largely serves the

interests of state power holders. There was a lack of transparency in academic staffing decisions, with numerous complaints from individuals in the academic community of bias based on party membership.//

Acupuncture - a time-honoured medicine The origins of acupuncture in China can be traced back at least 2000 years, making it one of the oldest and most long-standing health care systems in the world. Acupuncture takes a holistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes and focuses as much on the prevention of illness as on the treatment.

What is qi & how does it affect the body? When healthy, an abundant supply of qi (pronounced chee) or "life energy" flows through the body's meridians (a network of invisible channels through the body). If the flow of qi in the meridians becomes blocked or there is an inadequate supply of qi, then the body fails to maintain harmony, balance and order, and disease or illness follows. This can result from stress, overwork, poor diet, disease pathogens, weather and environmental conditions, and other lifestyle factors and becomes evident to TCM practitioners through observable signs of bodily dysfunction. TCM practitioners look carefully for these signs of health and dysfunction, paying particular attention not only to the presenting signs and symptoms, but also to the medical history, general constitution, and the pulse and tongue.

How does acupuncture work? Acupuncture treatment involves the insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific sites (acupuncture points) along the body's meridians to clear energy blockages and encourage the normal flow of qi through the individual. The practitioner may also stimulate the acupuncture points using other methods, including moxibustion, cupping, laser therapy, electro-stimulation and massage, in order to re-establish the flow of qi.

ግርማ ከቶሮንቶ ካነበበው የላከልን እያንዳንዱ መንግሥት በተለይ ደግሞ ዴሞክራሲን የሚጠየፍ አምባገነን መንግሥት የሚገዛውን ሕዝብ የሚያደነዝዝበት የተለያዩ ሥልቶችን ይነድፋል፤ እነዚህንም ሥልቶች እያፈራረቀና እንዳስፈላጊነቱም በጅምላ ይጠቀምባቸዋል፡፡ ከነዚህም ውስጥ በብልግናና በኢሞራላዊ ምግባራት የተሞሉ የሙዚቃና የፊልም ኢንዱስተሪዎችን ማስፋፋትና በአደንዛዥ ዕፅ በተለይ ወጣቱን ትውልድ መበከል ዋና ዋናዎቹ ሲሆኑ እግር ኳስንና የውሸቱን የነፃ ትግል ትርዒት (wrestling) የመሳሰሉ ስፖርታዊ እንቅስቃሴዎችንም በዚሁ የሕዝብን የትኩረት አቅጣጫ ማስለወጫ መንግሥታዊ “ጥበቦች” ውስጥ ማካተት ይቻላል፡፡ የዛሬውን አያድርገውና በቀድሞዋ ሶቭየት ኅብረት የነቮድካን ዋጋ እጅግ በማርከስና ማንኛውንም የውጭ ሚዲያ ዝግ በማድረግ ሕዝቡን አደንዝዘው ይገዙ እንደነበር የቅርብ ጊዜ ትውስታችን ነው፡፡ ወያኔ ግን የመጠጦችንም ዋጋ ከሰማይ አዝልቆ እየሰቀለ መደበሪያና መቆዘሚያም እያሳጣን ነው – የ330ሚ.ሊ ቢራ በዚያን ክፉ ዘመን ሊያውም ተወደደ ተብሎ በ40ሣ. እንዳልተጎነጨናት ዛሬ በዝቅተኛ ሆቴሎች ባማካይ ከ16 ብር በታች አልገኝ ብላለች፤ እሷም ባቅሟ ተንጠባረረችብን፡፡ ያገር ተወላጇ ካታማይሲን(ቁንድፍት) ራሷ ከንፈርን ለማታረጥብ ቀልበ-ቢስ መለኪያ 3 ብር እንከፍላለን – በቅርቡ ከዚያ ከዓመታት ሁሉ ተለይቶ ባይፈጠር የሚሻለው 97ዓ.ም የምርጫ ወቅት በፊት በስሙኒ ነበር የምንቸልሳት፡፡ ባይገርማችሁ የቼልሲ ደጋፊ ነኝ – የማታ ቸልሲ እንጂ ለቅሪላ ደንታም የለኝ ታዲያ፡፡ በቀጥታ ወደ ሀገራችን ወቅታዊ ጉዳይ እንግባና የሀሽሽ ዓይነቶችን እንመልከት፡፡ ወያኔዎች በተንኮል ሥራ እጅግ የተጠበቡና የተራቀቁ አማካሪዎች እንዳሏቸው (ከሚሠሩት ወንጀልና ጥፋት አንጻር) ከዕድሜያቸው መንዘላዘል ብቻ ሣይሆን ዘወትር ከሚያከናውኗቸው ነገር ግን ከነርሱ በፍጹም ሊጠበቁ ከማይችሉ ዕኩይ ተግባሮቻቸው በሚገባ መረዳት ይቻላል፡፡ ጎሣን ከጎሣና ሃይማኖትን ከሃይማኖት ማጋጨቱን የተበላ ዕቁብ ይዘን ቤተሰብን እስከማፋጀት የሚደርሰውን የሸር ሥራቸውን ስናጤን በማይምነትና ምናልባትም በየዋህነት የምናውቃቸው እነዚህ ወንድሞቻችን ይህ ሁሉ ከተዓምር ያላነሰ ድርጊታቸው ካላንዳች ረዳት እንደማይሆን እንገነዘባለን፡፡ ለኛ ከማይተኛ ትልቅ ኃይል ጋር እንደሚሠሩ ለማወቅ ነቢይነትን አይጠይቅም፡፡ የዋህ ታዛቢ ግን ወያኔዎች ብቻቸውን የሚገዙን እየመሰለው በኛ በብዙዎች “ፍርሀትና ትግስት” መደነቁ አይቀርም፡፡ እናም ሕዝብን በዚህና በዚያ ከማናከሱና የተወሰነ ፖለቲካዊ ትርፍ ከማጋበሱ በተጓዳኝ ዜጎች እንዲደነዝዙ የሚያድርጉበት ከፍ ሲል የተጠቀሱትን የመሳሰሉ ልዩ ልዩ ዘዴዎች አሏቸው – ወያኔዎችም ሆኑ ጌቶቻቸው፡፡ ዓለማችን አእምሮን በሚቆጣጠሩ መሠሪዎች ተወጥራለች፤ የጓድ መንግሥቱን አነጋገር ልዋስና – ብታምኑም ባታምኑም “የምትናገረውን ቀርቶ የምታስበውን ደርሰንበታል” በሚሉ የስምንተኛው ሺህ ሐሣይ መሲሆች ተወረናል፤ ደፍረውናል፤ ንቀውናል፡፡ በበክት ስሙ ማለቴ በክት ስሙ ሕወሓት የምንለው የኛው ወፍዘራሽ ፍጡር ሕዝቡን የሚያደነዝዝባቸው መንገዶች በርካታ ናቸው፡፡ የዐዋጁን በጆሮ እንዳይሆንብኝ እንጂ ቀዳሚው የወያኔ ሀገርን ማውደሚያ የቆረጣ ሥልት ወጣቶችንና ታዳጊዎችን ከትምህርት ገበታ መለየት ወይም እዚህ ግባ በማይባል የትምህርት ሥርዓት ማደደብና ዲግሪ እንኳን ይዘው ስማቸውን አስተካክለው መጻፍ የማይችሉ የምሁር ማይማን ማድረግ ነው፤ ይህ በተግባር ተፈትኖ ፍሬያማ የሆነላቸው ትልቁ ሥልታቸው ነው፡፡ በዚህ ረገድ የጠፋውን ትውልድ ለመመለስ ወደፊት ብዙ መማሰን ይኖርብናል፡፡ የውሸት ቱሪናፋና የሀሰት ዘገባ እያቀረቡ ሕዝቡን በባዶ ጩኸት ጆሮውን ሲጠልዙ የሚውሉ ቲቪዎችንና ራዲዮኖችን ማስፋፋት ደግሞ ሌላኛው ሀሽሽ ነው፡፡ ስሙን እንደሸሚዝ ከሚለዋውጠው ኢቲቪ ጀምረህ ኢቢኤስን፣ ናሁን፣ ዋልታን፣ ቃናን፣ ቲጂን …ኤፍኤሞችን፣ አይጋፎረምን የመሰሉ ድረገፆችን፣ ጋዜጦችን … ብትመለከት ሁሉም የወያኔ ሕዝብን የማደንቆሪያ ሀሽሾች ናቸው፡፡ በብዙ ጫና ውስጥ ከሚያልፉ በጣም ጥቂት የኤፌም ፕሮግራሞች በስተቀር አብዛኛዎቹ በሬ ወለደ ዓይነትና ከሕዝብ ችግር ጋር ጭራሽ የማይገናኝ ዝግጅት ነው የሚያቀርቡት፡፡ አንድም የረባ ነገር ሲሠሩ አታይም፡፡ የሚያወሩት ሁሉ ከወሲብና ከስፖርት ያውም በአብዛኛው ከእግር ኳስ አይወጣም – እግር ኳስ ስልህ ደግሞ ተጫዋቹ ስንት ግራም ቁርስ እንደበላና ከሚስቱ ጋር ስንቴ እንደተሳሳመ ወይም… ሳይቀር መዘክዘክን ይጨምራል – “ራሷን በልቷት እግሯን ያኩላታል” አሉ? እንደ ወላይታ ሶዶ ዳጣና እንደሸዋ ሚጥሚጣ ስለሚፋጀው የኑሮ ውድነትና የሙስና መረብ ግን አንድም ትንፍሽ አይሉም፤ ጉዶች! የሕዝብን ፖለቲካዊና ማኅበራዊ ችግር ነቅሶ የሚያወጣና መፍትሔ እንዲገኝ የሚያደርግ ጋዜጠኛም ሆነ የሚዲያ ተቋም በሀገራችን የለም – ሁሉም ተለባብሶ መጓዝን፣ ከወያኔ ጋር ተሞዳምዶ የግል ብልግና ማለትም ብልጽግና መሻትን መርጦ እውነትን አርቆ እየቀበራት ይገኛል፡፡ አሁን አሁን ብዙ የሣተላይት ቴሌቪዥን ሥርጭቶች አየር ላይ እየዋሉ ነው፡፡ ከሞላ ጎደል የሁሉም ዓላማ አንድና አንድ ነው – ባጭር ታጥቆ ወያኔን ማገልገል፡፡ እውነትን መደበቅ፣ ሀሰተኛ ሀገራዊ ምስል

ወያኔ ለሕዝብ የሚያከፋፍላቸው አደንዛዥ ዕፆች [ፍርዱ ዘገዬ]

በመፍጠር ወያኔ ልማታዊ መንግሥት እንደሆነ መስበክና በተለይ በውጪ የሚኖረውን ኢትዮጵያዊና ስለኢትዮጵያ ቀናውን የሚያስብ የዓለም ዜጋን ማታለል፣ ወጣቱን በሙዚቃና ዳንኪራ ቱማታ ጠምዶ ሌት ከቀን ማስጨፈር፣ ርሀብንና ጥምን፣ በሽታንና ዕርዛትን ግን መደበቅ … ዋና ተልዕኳቸው ነው፡፡ እንግዲህ እኔ አዲስ አበባ እንደመኖሬ እነዚህ ቱልቱላዎች የሚያሳዩትንና በገሃድ እየሆነ ያለውን ሰቅጣጭ ሀገራዊ ምስል በሚገባ አውቃለሁና በነሱ አስነዋሪ ድርጊትና በኛ አስከፊ የሕይወት ገጽታ መካከል ያለውን ልዩነት በማንበብ በሰው ልጅ በተለይም በዘመናችን በምንገኝ ብዙዎች ኢትዮጵያውያን ዋሾነትና መስሎ አዳሪነት ከልክ በላይ ማዘኔ አልቀረም – ውሸት እንደባህል ተወስዶ ትውልድ ሁሉ በውሸት እንዲቀረጽ መንግሥታዊ በጀት የተመደበበት ብቸኛ የዓለም ሀገር ቢኖር ሀገራችን ኢትዮጵያ ትመስለኛለች፡፡ እውነትን ከመናገር አንጻር ሰው ኅሊናውን በሆዱ ከለወጠ የመጨረሻው ቆርጦ ቀጥል ይሆናል – እንደዚያ መስፍን በዙ እንደሚሉት አጋሰስ ሰውዬ ማለት ነው፡፡ (እንዴት ያለው ሆዳም መሰላችሁ እናንተዬ፤ ሰው ማማት ስለማልወድ ግን ስለዚህ የወያኔ ቅጥር ሚዲያ-ገዳይ፣ ስለዚህ እምብርት የለሽ ሆድ-አደር የወያኔ አጨብጫቢ አሁን ምንም መናገር አልፈልግም፡፡ ስለግለሰብ ማውራት ከሞራል አኳያም ቢታይ ትክክል አልሆንምና ስለዚህ ባለጌና ስድ አደግ ሰውዬ ትንፍሽ አልልም፡፡ ስለሆነም ሌሎቻችሁም ብትሆኑ ስለነዚህ ዓይነቶቹ የሀገር አራሙቻዎችና የታሪክ አተላዎች ማውራት የለባችሁም – የደርግ አማርኛ እንዴት ትዝ አለኝ እባካችሁ?) ዛሬ ኢትዮጵያን ሪቪውን ስዳስስ አንድ ጽሑፍ ቀልቤን ሳበውና ገለጥኩት – አነበብኩትም፡፡ ያን መሰል ጽሑፍ ልጽፍ ካሰብኩ ደግሞ ቆይቻለሁ – በይዘት የሚመሳሰል፤ ይህ ሰው – ኢድሪስ ሙክታር የተባለ ዜጋ – ቀደመኝና አወጣው፡፡ ዕጥር ምጥን ባለ አቀራረብ ግማሽ ገጽ እንኳን በማትሞላ ወረቀት ስለቃና ቲቪ አደገኛነት አፍረጥርጦ ነገረን – ቢገባን፡፡ እኔ ደግሞ ኅያው ምሥክር ነኝ፤ ልጽፍ የነበረውም በዚሁ ጦሰኛ ጣቢያ ምክንያት የደረሰብኝን የራሴን ተሞክሮ ነበር፡፡ አደገኛ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ነው ያለነው ጓዶች!! ነገሩ ወዲህ ነው፡፡ ባለፈው ሰሞን – ቀልድ አይደለም እውነቴን ነው – ባለፈው ሰሞን ሥራ ውዬ ከምሽቱ ሦስት ሰዓት አካባቢ ቤቴ እገባለሁ – ድክም ብዬ፡፡ ሣሎን ውስጥ ባለቤቴና ልጆቼ ያው እንደዱሮው ይሄን የፈረደበት ቃና ቲቪን ይመለከታሉ፡፡ እኔ በጣም እርቦኛል፡፡ ራት ትሰጠኛለች ብዬ ወደባለቤቴ አቅጣጫ እያማተርኩ ብቁለጨለጭ እሷ ያለችው እነኦማርና ጁሊያን ጋር ናት – ቃና ውስጥ – “ውስጤ ነው” በሚሉት አዲስ ፈሊጥ ትወስዳለች፡፡ አፍ አውጥቼ ራት ብዬ ተናገርኩ – ማንን ወንድ ብላ! መልሱ ዝም ጭጭ ሆነ፡፡ ትንሹ ልጄ ሰማኝና “እየተሠራ ስለሆነ ትንሽ ጠብቅ አለኝ፡፡ ያኔ ብልጭ አለብኝ፡፡ እንደዱሮው ቢሆን በዚያ ቅጽበት ውስጥ የባለቤቴ ጉንጮች ከደረሰባቸው መብረቃዊ የአይበሉባም በሉት የቃሪያና የበርበሬ ጥፊ የማጥቃት እርምጃ የተነሣ ማበጥ ጀምረው ነበር፡፡ ዛሬ ግን ወንድም ሴትም አልለይ ብሎን ሁለት አባውራ ባንድ ቤት ውስጥ መኖር ተጀመረና አዛዥና ታዛዥ ጠፋ፡፡ወደኪችን አፍንጫየንና ፊቴን ባዞር ገና የተመታ ሽሮ ያዙኝ ልቀቁኝ ይላል – ዱሮ በደህናው ቀን እኮ አንድ ዓይነት ይቅርና ሲመቻትና ከልደታ እስከባታ አካባቢ ሁለትም ሦስትም ዓይነት ወጥ ሠርታ ገና የበሩን ደፍ ሳላልፍ ታቀርብ ነበር፡፡ አሁን ዕድሜ ለቃና – ቅንቅን ይውረሰውና – የሚጠበቀው ዐረፋው እስኪከትና ጥሬ ሽሮው እስኪጠፋ ኖሮ በ15 ቁጥር ምሥማር ጥርቅም አድርገው ዘጉኝ – ቤተሰቦቼ፡፡ የቡና ዘነዘና አንስቼ ቲቪውን የዶጋመድ ላደርገው ቃጣኝ፡፡ ግን አንድ ሞኝ ወገናችን አንድ ወቅት በራሱ ላይ የወሰደው የቂል እርምጃ ወዲያው ትዝ አለኝና ተውኩት – (ያ ሞኝ ሰው ምን አደረገ መሰለህ – ባለቤቱ እጅግ ቀናተኛ ነበረችና በወጣ በገባ ቁጥር “ከእገሊት ጋር እንዲህ እንዲህ ስታደርግ ቆይተህ ነው አይደል ያመሸኸው? አልተነቃብኝም ብለህ ነው አይደል? በላ ምን ይዘጋሃል?” እያለች ትነዘንዘው ገብታለች፡፡ ሰውዬው ስልችት አለው፡፡ ከቀን እቀን እየባሰ የሄደው የፍቅር አይሉት የጠብ ንዝነዛዋ በዛበት፡፡ አይፍረድባችሁ ወገኖቼ፡፡ አንድ ቀን ግን ስሜቱን መቆጣጠር አቃተውና የሚስቱን የተሣለ የሽንኩርት ቢላዎ አንስቶ ያን የቅናት መንስዔ የሆነ የአካል ክፍሉን ከመባቀያው ጀምሮ ይሸረክትና “በይ የኔ እህት ከእንግዲህ አትነዝንዢኝ፤ ንብረትሽ ይሄውልሽ፤ ብትፈልጊ አዝለሽው ዙሪ… ከፈለግሽም ቀቅለሽ ብይው…”ይልና አለቬርባል ያስረክባታል፡፡ በዜና ነው የሰማሁት – ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ መሰለኝ የሆነው።)እኔ ግን በጣም ከመናደዴ የተነሣ ወጥቼ ሄድኩ፡፡ዕውር ቢሸፍት ጓሮ ለጓሮ እንዲሉ ሆኖ ግን ምሽቱ ስለጠነነብኝ ሩቅ መሄድ አልቻልኩምና ሠፈር ውስጥ ጥቂት ተንጎራድጄ ተመለስኩ፤ ያቺኑ ሽሮየንም በልቼ ነገር በሆዴ ይዤ እያብሰለሰልኩ ተኛሁ – እልኹ ስላለ ሌሊቱ አልበረደኝም፡፡ ለዚያ ያበቃኝ እንግዲህ ይሄ ቃና የሚሉት ከይሲ ቴሌቪዥን ነው – ትናጋውን የሚዘጋ ነገር ፈጣሪ ከላይ ይላክበት እንጂ ትዳርን ሳይቀር እየበተነ ነው፡፡ እሱው ላይ ተጎልታ ውላ ዋናውን የትዳሯን ምሰሶ አናጋችው – ከዚያ ቀን ወዲህ አሁንም ድረስ ኩርፍ ነን። እኔ ችየው እንጂ “የነገር አባትሽንና ነፍስ አባታችንን ጥሪና ያለያዩን፤ አሁንስ አበዛሽው!” ብል እችል ነበር፤ ግን በዚህ ዘመን እንኳንስ ተፋትተው ተጋብተውም አልሆነ፣ የቃና ጣጣ ብዙ ነው፡፡

ለመሆኑ ቃናን ማን ፈትቶ ለቀቀብን? ጣቢያው ምን እያደረገ ነው? በመሠረቱ ይህ ጣቢያ ብዙ የተለፋበትና የተደከመበት መሆኑ ያስታውቃል፤ ብዙ ወጪም ሳይጠይቅ አልቀረም፡፡ ጅምሩ ደግሞ በጣም ጥሩ ነው፤ እኔ በበኩሌ አቀራረቡንና ዝግጅቱን ወድጄዋለሁ፤ በዘርፉ ትልቅ እመርታ እንደሆነ ይገባኛል፡፡ ነገር ግን ለኢትዮጵያ ማኅበረሰብ አይሆንም፡፡ ይህ ዓይነቱ ጣቢያ እንደኛ ባለው በዕውቀትም በንቃተ ኅሊና ደረጃም በማኅበራዊ ሥነ ልቦናና በመሳሰሉ ነባራዊ ሁኔታዎች ዳዴ ለሚል ማኅበረሰብ ሣይሆን ለሠለጠነ ሕዝብና ሀገር ነው ግሩም የሚሆነው፡፡ እኛ እኮ ፍላጎታችንን ራሱን በመፈለግ የምንባዝንና ማናችንም የምንፈልገውን ነገር ሳናገኝ ወይም ያገኘን ሳይመስለን ከዚህች ዓለም የምንሰናበት ነን፤ አንዳንዶቻችን እኮ ያቺ የዱሮው ሁለተኛ ነው ሦስተኛ ክፍል የአማርኛ መጽሐፍ ውስጥ እንዳለችው አላዋቂ ኮራጅ ጦጣ ነን – ኩረጃን እንኳን የማናውቅ ፋራዎች – ግን ግን የሰለጠንንና ያወቅን የሚመስለን ግብዞች፡፡ አማራጮችን በአግባቡ መርምሮ የሚሆነውን ማለትም የሚጠቅመውን ከማይጠቅመው ለይቶ ጥሩውን ለመያዝ በቅድሚያ የግንዛቤ ማዳበሪያ ትምህርት ሊሰጥ ይገባል፡፡ ሕጻን ልጅ ማርና መርዝ ቢቀርቡለት ማሩን ትቶ መርዙን ሊመርጥ ይችላል፣ ማኅበረሰብም አንዳንዴ እንደሕጻን ቢቆጠር ለርሱ ከመጨነቅ አኳያ ነውና እኔን መሰሉ አስተያየተኛ ሊነወር አይገባም፡፡ ወያኔና ደርግ ቁልቁል እንጂ ሽቅብ እንድንሄድ አላደረጉንም፤ ማጣትን እንጂ ማግኘትን አላስለመዱንም፡፡ ድንቁርናን እንጂ ዕውቀትን አላወረሱንም፡፡ ትዕቢትን እንጂ ትህትናን አላሳዩንም ስለዚህ ማንም ቅራቅንቦውን እያመጣ ቢደፋብን በጣም እንጎዳለን፤ በሂደት ከሀገርና ከሕዝብ ደረጃም ልንወጣ እንችላለን፡፡ ዴንማርክ ሄደህ ይህን መሰል ቲቪ ብትከፍት ምንም ማለት አይደለም – The society is well informed and knows what is bad and good – እንዴ፣ እኔስ እንግሊዝኛ አያምረኝም እንዴ? ምርጫውን የሚያውቅና ስለምርጫም ግንዛቤ ያለው ሕዝብ ነውና ተጎጂ ጭራሹንም አይኖርም ባይባልም መጎዳቱን የሚረዳና ከአጓጉል ነገር ራሱንና ቤተሰቡን የሚጠብቅ ብዙ የነቃና የተደራጀ (የታጠቀም ልበል ይሆን?) ሕዝብ ስላለ ሀገር በቀላሉ አትፈረካከስም፤ ትውልድም በመጤ ባህል እንደኛ በዋዛ አይፍረከረክም፤ እዚህ ግን … እስኪ ተወኝ ወንድሜ፡፡kana logo - images ቃና አንዱ የወያኔ መርዝ ወይም ሀሽሽ እንደሆነ ያመንኩት እንግዲህ እኔን ጦም ለማሳደር የገባውን ቁርጠኝነት ስታዘብ ነው – በኔ ውስጥ ደግሞ ሚሊዮኖችን፣ በሚሊዮኖች ውስጥ ደግሞ “እንኳንስ ዘምቦብሽ እንዲያውም ጤዛ ነሽ”ን ውድ ሀገሬን ኢትዮጵያን አየሁ፡፡ በርግጥም ስናስበው ቃና በአንድ ምሥኪን ሰው ቤት ገብቶ ይህን ዓይነት ተዓምር ከሠራ በሀገር ደረጃማ እንዴት ዓይነት ጉድ አይሠራ፡፡ ኢድሪስ እንዳለው በቅርቡ ሥራም ትምህርትም ቀጥ ሳይል አይቀርም፡፡ አሁን ባለው ሁኔታ ሰው ሁሉ እየተጃጃለ ነው፡፡ ሆዱን ሳይሞላ ራሱን በፊልም እያታለለ ይኖራል። በዚህ መሀል ስለ ሀገር ማሰብ፣ ስለኑሮ መጨነቅ፣ ግፈኛውን የወያኔ አገዛዝ ስለማስወገድ ማሰብ፣ ስለነፃነት ማሰብ፣ ስለሕይወት መሻሻል ማሰብ፣ ስለትምህርት ማሰብ፣…. ዕርም ሊሆን ነው፡፡ ይህ ችግር ቦሃ ላይ ቆረቆር እንደማለት ነው – ዕንቅርትም ላይ ጆሮ ደግፍ፤ እንኳንስ ቃናን የመሰለ የጼጼ ዝምብ (tsetse fly) ታክሎብን ዱሮውንም ብዙዎቻችን እንቅልፋሞች ነን፡፡ ወያኔ ደግሞ ኢቲቪው ሲፈልግ ሰሚና ተመልካች አጥቶ ድርግም ይበል እንጂ እንደቃና ያሉ ቲቪዎችን እየደጎመም ቢሆን ለምልመው እንዲኖሩ ያደርጋል – ጥሩ ቫሊየሞች ናቸዋ! ጥሩ babysitters ናቸዋ! ግሩም lullabies ናቸው እኮ! – ምድረ አበሻን ከገረድ እስከ ፕሮፌሰር ጥልቅ እንቅልፍ አስወስደው ሀገረ ቱርክንና ሩቅ ምሥራቅን በምናብ የሚያስጎበኙ ትክክለኛ አስማተ ዲያብሎስ ናቸው፡፡ አቤት ሀገራችን የገባችበትን ማጥ ሲያስቡት! ቃና ቲቪ በተዛዋሪ ኢሳትንም ከአየር እያወረደው ነው፡፡ ወያኔ መለኛ ነው፡፡ በነዚያ ጮንጯና የቻይና ቴክኒሻኖችና በሼህ እንትናዬ ገንዘብ ኢሳትን ከአየር ማውረድና መስቀል ሲሰለቸው ጊዜ ሌላ ዘዴ አመጡ – መላ ካልተፈለገለት እጅግ በጣም አደገኛ ዘዴ ተከሰተላቸው፡፡ እኔ ለምሣሌ ኢሳትን ከማየት ተከልክያለሁ – በወያኔ ሳይሆን በእንቅልፋሙ ቤተሰቤ ነው የተከለከልኩት – “እንቅልፋሙ” ስል ፍካሬያዊውን እንቅልፍ እንጂ እማሬያዊውን አትዩ፡፡ ወደምኝታቸው ሄደው ሲተኙልኝ ብቻ ነው የማየው፡፡ አለበለዚያ ይሄ ቃና ከመጣ ወዲህ አብሶ ምንም አላይም፡፡ እርግጥ ነው በድረገፅ ሁሉን ነገር እከታተላለሁ፡፡ በቲቪ ኢሳትን ልይ ብል “እንዴ! የጀመርኩት ፊልም አለ፤ ጥቁር ፍቅርን ጀምሬያለሁ፤ የውበት እስረኞችን ጀምሬያለሁ” እያሉ ቤተሰዎቼ ከግራ ከቀኝ ይንጫጫሉ፡፡ ያኔ እበሳጭና እተኛለሁ፡፡ እነሱ እሚፈልጉትም ያን ነው – እኔንም እንቅልፋም ማድረግ፡፡ ወያኔ በቤቴ ተሳክቶለታል፡፡ ለነገሩ በቅርቡ የራሴን ቲቪ መግዛቴና መገላገሌ አይቀርም – ጥሩ አማራጭ፤ ዲሹን በጋራ ሪሲቨርንና ቲቪን በግል፤ ደሞስ የራሴን ሣተላይት ቲቪ ብከፍትስ? ይሄውና ያ አንዱ ብርቅዬ ልጃችንስ በቅርቡ ጄቲቪ ብሎ ጀምሮ የለ? ምን ይጎለኛል፡፡ ጆሲን ግን አደራችሁን ተከታተሉለት፤ እደግ ተመንደግ በሉት፡፡ ግሩም ልጅ ነው፡፡ የልጅ ዐዋቂ፡፡ እነቴዲንና እነጆሲን ይባርክልን፡፡ እነሁሉን ላገር አሳቢና ተቆርቋሪዎች ይጠብቅልን፡፡ ግን ግን ምን እንሁን? ምን ይብቃን? ወዴትስ

እንሂድ? ከወያኔ ሀሽሽ እንዴት እንዳን? ቀደም ብዬ የጠቀስኩላችሁን አጭር ጽሑፍ እዚሁ እንድታገኙት ከዚህ በታች አኑሬላችኋለሁ፡፡ ቃና የሚባል የቴሌቪዥን ፕሮግራም መላ ካልተበጀለት በቅርብ ቀናቶች ውስጥ ሊፈጠሩ የሚችሉ እውነታዎች1) ከፍተኛ የሆነ የትዳር መቃወስ ይፈጠራል2) ትምህርት ቤቶች ይዘጋሉ(የቤት ስራ የሚባል ነገር ይቀራል3) መስሪያ ቤቶች የስራ ሳይሆን የእንቅልፍ ቦታ ይሆናሉ4) የሚወለዱ ህፃናት በሙሉ ዘሀራ ወይም ቻንድራ የሚል ስም ይወጣላቸዋል5)EBC “ ebc ውስጤ ነው#” በሚል logo ይቀይራል6) አውቶብሶች በሙሉ ዲሽ ያስፈልገናል በሚል አድማ ይመታሉ7) መንገዶች በሙሉ ቃና ቃና በሚል እግረኞች ይጨናነቃሉ8) ፍቅረኛሞች እወድሻለው የሚል ቃል ቀርቶ ውስጤ ነህ በሚል ቃል ይተካል ይመ አስተናጋጆች ሜኑ ሲጠየቁ ቃናም አለ ይላሉ10) የካፌ፡የሆቴል የምግብ ዋጋ በ3 እጥፍ ይጨምራል11) ሳያዙ ሳይሆን ” እነ እንትናን ሊያዪ መቀመጥ ክልክል ነው “በሚል ማስጠንቀቂያ ሬስቶራቶች ይጨናነቃሉ …12) የሰዓት መለኪያችን ቃና ላይ በሚታዩት ፊልሞች ይሆናል ማለትም “ፍሬንዴ ሰዓት ሲባል ባክ ገና ነው ጥቁር ፍቅር አልጀመረም” መባባላችን የማይቀር ነው13) የፌስ ቡክ ፕሮፋይል ፒክቸሮች በነቻንድራ,በነ ኦማር በነ ጁሊያ.. ምስል ይቀየራል14) በአንፃሩም የፌስ ቡክ የፕሮፍይል ስሞች በቃና ፊልሞች ስሞች ይቀየራሉ በአብዛኛው የሴቶች ስም ለምሳሌ አበሩ፣ ኦማር፣ ጋል፣ኪዱ፣ ጁሊያን ወጥመድ…..ሌላው ደግሞ ከበፊቶቹ የተበረዙስሞች ጋር ..ቻንድራ ብሪዚ ብራውን…. በሚል መቀየራቸው የማይቀር ነው“ባጠቃላይ ሀገሪቷ እንቅልፋም፡የደነዘዘ፡…… ዜጋን ማምረት ትጀምራለች”በእንድሪስ ሙክታር

አይደለም። ከወር በፊትም የንጹህ ዜጋ ዓይን አፍስሰዋል። ፖሊስ ግን አይይዛቸውም።" ብለዋል። ይህ ሁሉ ሲሆን ፍትህ የሚያስከብር የመንግሥት አካል እና ሕግ አስከባሪ ጉዳዩን ችላ ብሎታል። ከአንዳንዶች እንደሚሰማው ከሆነ ፖሊስ ለወንጀለኞቹ ሽፋን እየሰጣቸው ነው። ከሟች የቀብር ሥነሥርዓት በኋላ ህዝቡ ንፋስ ስልክ ላፍቶ ክፍለ ከተማ በሚገኘው ፖሊስ ድረስ በመሄድ ተጠርጣሪዎቹ በአስቸኳይ እንዲያዙ ቢጠይቅም፤ ፖሊስ ለህዝቡ በጎ ምላሽ ከመስጠት ይልቅ፤ በህዝቡ ላይ ተኩስ በመክፈት ለቀስጠኛው እንዲበተን አድርጓል። ቪድዮውን ይመልከቱ። የሟች ጓደኛ ዳንኤል ንጉሴም በግድያው በተጠረጠሩት አምስት ግለሰቦች በሳንጃ ተወግቶ ጥቁር አንበሳ ሆስፒታል ከፍተኛ ቀዶ ጥገና ተደርጎለታል።ለዚህ አሰቃቂ ግድያ እና አደጋ መነሻ የሆነ ምክንያት እንደሌለ ነው ሰዎች የሚናገሩት። ከሕግ በላይ የሆኑ ባለግዜዎች እና ጉልበተኞች እንዲሁ በማናለብኝነት የፈጸሙት ወንጀል ነው። ሀገሪቱ ሰው ከቤቱ በሰላም ወጥቶ ለመግባት ምንም ዋስትና የሌለበት ሀገር ሆናለች።ይህ አሰቃቂ ግድያ በሆላንድ የሚኖሩ የለይኩን ወዳጆችን በእጅጉ አስደንግጧል። ከቶውንም "ዲያስፖራ"፣ "ኢንቨስተር" … ወዘተ እየተባለ የሚለፈለፈው ሁሉ ለዲያስፖራው ዋስትና ከማይሰጥ መንግሥት መሆኑም አሁን ግልጽ የሆነ ይመስላል።

ግንቦት ፱(ዘጠኝ) ቀን ፳፻፰ ዓ/ም ኢሳት ዜና :- ከቦርዱ የተሰጠው መግለጫ እንደሚያመለክተው ፓርቲዎቹ በመተዳደሪያ ደንባቸዉ መሠረት ጠቅላላ ጉባኤ የሚያካሂዱበት ጊዜ ያለፈ በመሆኑና የሥራ ጊዜያቸው በተጠናቀቀው አመራሮች ምትክ አዲስ የአመራር አባላትን መርጦ ወዲያውኑ ለቦርዱ ባለማሳወቃቸው፣ በኦዲተር የተረጋገጠና በግንባሩ መሪ የተፈረመ የሃብትና እዳ ሰነድ የጽሑፍ ሪፖርት ባለማቅረባቸው፣ ፓርቲው ያለውን ዋና ጽሕፈት ቤት እና ቅርንጫፍ ጽሕፈት ቤቶች አድራሻ፣ የጽሕፈት ቤቶቹን ኃላፊዎች ወይም ተወካዮች ለቦርዱ በጽፍ ባለማሳወቅ፣ እንዲሁም በሚመለከተው ሕጋዊ አካል የተረጋገጠ የሞያ ብቃት ያለው በፓርቲው የተሾመ የውጭ ኦዲተርና የተሾመው ኦዲተር ሹመቱን መቀበሉን በፊርማው ያረጋገጠበት ሰነድ ባለማቅረባቸው ፓርቲዎቹ መሰረዛቸውን ጠቅሷል።

ኮልፌ ክልኳንዳ ተራ ዝቅ ብሎ ከቅ.ጰውሎስ መንፈሳዊ ኮሌጅና ቤተክርስቲያን አጠገብ የሚገኘውና የበርካታ ጣፋጭና መራራ ታሪክ ባለቤት የሆነው በጥንት ስሙ ዲቢሲቶ የሚሠኘው ፈጥኖ ደራሽ ፖሊስ ካምኘ የወርቃማው የኢትዮጵያ ሙዚቃ ዘመን ወርቃማ ልጆኝ ያስገኘ ስመ ጥሩ የሙዚቃኞች መፍለቂያ ነበር፡፡ እንደዛሬው ትዝታው ብቻ ሳይቀር እነ ዓለምአየሁ እሸቴ ፣ ሂሩት በቀለ፣ ጌታቸው መኩሪያ፣ ድረስ አንተነህ፣ ተስዬ አበበ በኃይሉ እሸቴ2 ሙሉቀን መለሰ መስፍን ኃይሌ አርጋው መዳሶ እና ሌሎችም ምርጥ ምርጥ የፖሊስ ኦርኬስትራ ሙዚቀኞች ከዚህ ቦተ ተገኝተዋል፡፡ የልጅነት ጊዜውን በዊንጌት፣ በኮልፌና በአስኮ አካባቢ ላሳለፈ እንደእኔ ላለው የሰባዎቹ ለጅ እግር ደግሞ እነዚህ ሙዚቀኞች ልዩ ትዝታ አላቸው፡፡ አርጋወ በዳሶ ተወልጄ ባደግኩበት ከፍተኛ 25 ቀበሌ ዐ2 ነዋሪ ስለነበር ለጉዳይ ቀበሌ ሲመጣ ወይም ጵጥሮስ ቤተክርስቲያን ብቅ ሲል እንደልብ እናገኘዋለን፡፡ ከእኛ ቤት ሁለት ደጃፍ ፈቀቅ ብሎ ታምሩ ሞገስ/ ጉቦ አይጉቦ/ ይገኛል። ዘወትር ከትምህርት ቤት መልስ ወደኮለፌ የሚስደን የባቡር መንገድ ተከትሎ ከተገነባው የጄኔራል ዊንጌት ት/ቤት አጥር ስር ኳስ ስንጫወት 11 ሰዓት ሲሆን ሠራተኞችን ጭነው የሚመጡ የተለያዩ የመስራያ ቤት ሠርቪስ ሠጪ አውቶብሶች መካከለ የፖሊስ ሠራዊት ሙዚቃ ሰርቪስ አይረሣኝም፡፡ ቅጠልየ አረንጓዴ ቅብ የሆነውና ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የተሰራ እንደሆነ የተነገረን ዙሪያውን ላሜራው በከምሱር የተመታና እንደተጣፈ ልብስ ከተለያዩ የላሚራ ቁራጮች መሠራቱ የሚያስታውቀው ይህ መኪና አፍሮ ከምከሞ ፀጉር ባላት ሴት ሹፌር እየተሽከረከረ ሰዓቱን ጠብቆ ይደርሳል፡፡ ቱቱ ለማ/እንደአስኘሮን ልዋጥሃ/ ባለቤቷ ክፍሎም / ጊታር ቀጨዋች/ ታምሩ ሞገስ፣ አርጋው በዳሶ በየተራ ይወርዳሉ፡፡ ዝነኛው የፖሊስ ኦርኬስትራ ሳክስፎኒስት ጌታቸው መኩሪያ የእኛን ሠፈር አልፎ እስከእልፈተ ህይወቱ ይኖርበት ወደ ነበረው ሸጎሌ የሚገኝ ቤቱ ይሄዳል፡፡ ማታ ማታ በህብረትርኢት ወይም በየዝግጁቱ ጣልቃ በሚቀርቡ ቀስቃሽና የአብዮት ሙዚቃዎች ብዙዎቿን እናያቸው ስለነበር እጃችንን በማውለብለብ አድናቆታችንን እንገልፅላቸዋለን ፡፡ ድረስ አንተነህ ሽለላና ቀረርቶ እንዲሁም ፉከራ ቀጥሎ የጌታቸው መኩሪያ የሳክስፎን ሶሎ ይከተላል፡፡ ሸብረክ እያለና ሲሻውም መሬት ላይ በጉልበቱ ተንበርክኮ ወደኋላው በመንጋለል በሰጠ ሰውነቱና በማይቋረጠ ትንፋሹ ያንን የነሃስ መሣሪያ ከአፍ መፍቻ ቋንቋው የተለየ ቋንቋ ያናግረዋል ለያውም ባማረ ለዛና ጣእም፡፡• * * ዓመታት አልፈው የደርግ መንግስት ከተሸኘ በኋላ የፖሊስ ሠራዊት ኦርኬስትራ ፈረስ ወይም በቀድሞው ዘመን ክብርና ደረጃው መቀጠል እንዳይችል ተደረገ፡፡ ባለሙያዎቹም ስራቸው ዲቢሲቶ / ፈጥኖ ደራሽ/ጊቢ ደርሰው ፈርመውና ሰራተኞች ክበብ ውለው ወደቤታቸው መግባት ሆነ፡፡ ጋሽ ጌታቸውም የእለት ፊርማውን አኑሮ ከቻለ ከረንቡላውን ተጫውቶ ኒያላ ሲጋራውን እያቦነነ እንደቀድሞው በኦርኬስትራው ሰርቪስ ሣይሆን በእግሩ የኮልፌን ዳገት አቋርጦ አሁን የመጨረሻ እረፍቱ በተፈፀመበት የጴጥሮስ ቤተክርስቲያን ጓሮ አቋርጦ ቤቱ ወደሚገኝበት ሸጎሌ ያቀና ነበር፡፡ እንዲህ እንዲህ ሲል ጥቂት ዓመታትን ካስቆጠረ በኋላ የኢትዮ ጃዝ መስራች የሆነው ዝነኛው ሙላቱ አስታጥቄ አፍሪካ ጃዝ መንደርን ሲመሰርትና በሬድዮ የጃዝ ሙዚቃን የተመለከተ ዝግጅት ማቅረብ ሲጀምር የእነጌታቸው መኩሪያ ስምም ብቅ ብቅ ማለት ጀመረ፡፡ በደርግ ዘመን ከነበሩ በርካታ ኦርኬስትራዎችና ባንዶች ውስጥ ይሰሩ የነበሩ ታዋቂ ሣክስፎን ተጫዎቾች መካከል እንደቴዎድሮስ ምትኩ፣ እነ ጥላዬ ገብሬ/ እነ ያሬድ እነ ግርማ ኃ/ ሚካኤል / እና ሌሎችም ቢኖሩም ጌታቸው መኩሪያን ግን በአንጋፋነትና በልዩ አጨዋወት ስልቱ የሚቀድመውም የሚልቀውም አለነበረም፡፡

ትዝታን በትንፋሽ ጌታቸው ሳክስን ሳስታዉሰው ከገዛኸኝ መኮንን

አሊያንስ ኢትዮ ፍራንዜ የኢትዮጵያ ዘመናዊ ሙዚቃና ባህላዊ ሙዚቃዎች እንዲያንሰራሩ የሚረዳ መሰናዶ ተክለሃይማኖት ሱማሌ ተራ በሚገኘው ማዕከል ማካሄድ በጀመረባቸው የ199ዐዎቹ መጨረሻ ዓመታት በአንዱ በጌታቸው መኩሪያ ስም የተዘጋጀ ለቀናት የዘለቀ የማስታወሺያ ዝግጅት ተደረገ በወቅቱም አንጋፋዎች ድምፃውያን ተገኝተው ነበር፡፡ ይህን መሠል የማስተወሻ ዝግጅት ለጥላሁን ገሠሠ፣ ለተስፋዬ ገሠሠ ፣ ለሚኒልክ ወስናቸው ፣ ለመሀሙድ አህመድ፣ ለአለማየሁ እሸቴ እና ለሌሎችመ ተካሂዷል፡፡ ከነዚህ ዘግጅቶች ጀርባ የነበረው ሰው ፈረንሳዊው ፍራንሲስ ፋልሴቶመ ቆየት ብሎ “ ኢትዮፒክስ” በሚለ የአበም መጠሪያ እስከ ሃያ ገደማ የደረሱ የኢትዮጵያ ወርቃማ የመዚቃ ዘመን ስራዎችን / / አሳተመ፡፡ ይህመ በመላው አውሮፓና አሜሪከ አዲስ ድምፅ መነቃቃትን ፈጠረ፡፡ ጋሽ ጌታቸውም ከሆላንዳዊያን ጋር ሆኖ ሳክስፎኑን ታጥቆና ፋንፈሩን ለብሶ በምድረ አውሮፖ ዞረ፡፡ ተወደደም፡፡ * * በ2ዐ1ዐ አንድ ቀኑን የማላስታውሰው እለት ፒያሳ አካባቢ የውጨ ዜጎችን በማስተናገድ ከሚታወቅ ሆቴለ አንድ ስልክ ተደወለልኝ ስልኩን የደወለው በባለቤቴ በኩለ የማውቀው ሰው ነው፡፡ ይህ ሰው አንዲት ከካናዳ የመጣች ጋዜጠኛ ስለኢትዮጵያ ሙዚቃና ረሃብ መስራት እንደምትፈለግ ገለፀልኝና የምረዳት ነገር ካለም እንድረዳት ጠየቀኝ፡፡ የጋዜጠኛን ነገር አውቀዋለሁና ሳላቅማማ ተነሰቼ ወደተባለው ሆቴለ ሄድኩ፤ ጋዜጠኛዋንም አገኘሁአትና ተዋወቅን ከሲቢሲ ነበር የመጣችው በመጨረሻም መስራት ስለምትፈልጋቸው ጉዳዮች አስረዳችኝ፣ በርካታ ነገሮች ቢሆኑም ለጊዜው በኢትዮጵያ ጃዝ ላየ ላተኩርና ሙላቱ አስታጥቄን ልታናግር እንደምትፈለግ ነገርችኝ የጋሽ ሙላቱ ስልክ ስለነበረኝ ብደውል ስልኩ ዝግ ነበር፡፡ በኋላ ከአገር ውስጥ አለመኖሩን አረጋገጥኩና ጌታቸው መኩሪያ በአገር ውስጥ እንዳለና እሱም ከኢትዮ ጃዝ መስራቾች አንዱ መሆኑን ነገርኳት በመስማማቷም “ ጋሽ ጌች” ጌታቸው መኩሪያ ዘንድ ደውዬ በቀጥታ ሸጎሌ ካለው ቤቱ እንድመጣ ስለቀጠረኝ ካሜራችንን ጭነን ሄድን፡፡ ቤቱ በደረስን ጊዜ ንጹህ በሆነውና በአበባ በተዋበውና ጠባብ ጊቢው ቆሞ ተቀበለን ቤቱ ንጹህና የተሟላ ቢሆንም ጭር ያለ ነበር፡፡ በግድግዳዎቹ ላይ ጋሽ ጌታቸው በተለያየ ጊዜያት በአገር ውስጥና በውጨ አገራት ለብቻውና ከሌሎች ጋር የተነሣቸው ፎቶግራፎች ተሰቅለው ይታያሉ፡፡“ይገርማችሁአል “ አለን የወሎዬ ለዛ ባለው አነጋገሩ “ሰሞኑን ለበርካታ አመታት የኖረና ስንት ነገር ያየሁለት ሳክስፎኔ ጠፋብኝ፡፡ ሸራተን ሎቢ ባር መስራት ጀምሬ የለም እና አንድ ምሽት ሰርቼ ስመለስ ኮንትራት ታክሲ ላዳ ያዝኩና ከኋላ ወንበር ላይ አስቀምጨ እየመጣሁ በሬ ላይ ካደረሰኝ በኋላ ረስቼው ወረድኩ፡፡ ቤት ከገባሁ በኋላ ትዝ አለኝ እንዳልደውልም ደንበኛዬ አይደለም፡፡ ድንገት ነው የያዝኩት በጣም አዘንኩ እኔ መሆኔን ያውቃል. . . በኋላ በማግስቱ ለስራ ስሄድ አዝኜ ለአሰሪዎቼ ነገርኳቸው እና ይሄው ሁለት ሳክስፎኖች በአንድ ጊዜ አገኘሁ፡፡ ሼህ አላሙዲን ናቸው፡፡፡የገዙና የሰጡኝ አንዱን አሁን ለልጄ እሰጣለሁ፡፡” አለና ወደመኝታ ቤቱ ሄደ ገና ነሃሱ እንደወርቅ የሚንተገተግ አዲስ ሳክስፎን ከሻንጣ ውስጥ አውጥቶ ይቃኘው ጀመር፡፡ እኛም ቤቱን አጣበው የያዙትን ትልልቅ ሶፋ ወንበሮች ጥግ ጥግ በማስያዝ ይህን ዘመን አይሽሬና አይጠገቤ ሙዚቀኛ በካሜራችን ልናጠምድ ተዘጋጀን፡፡ ሙዚቃውን ከመጀመሩ በፊትም ከካናዲዊያን ሙዚቀኞችና ከፈንድቃው ተወዛዋዥ መላኩ ጋር ያደረጉትን የአውሮፖ ጉዞ የያዘ ሲደ አምጥቶ ሰጠን የሙዚቃዎቹን ዝርዝሮችም አስመረጠን “ሽለላና ፉከራ” እንዲሁም “የጥላሁን ገሠሠን ስትሄድ ስከተላት” ለጊዜው መረጥንና ያንቆረቁረው ጀመር የጌታቸው መኩሪያ ሳክስፎን የተለየ ድምፀት አለው አልቶም ይሁን ቴነር ይጫወት እሱ የሚያወጣውን ድምፅ ማንም አያወጣውም፣ ከመዚቃ መሀል የጌታቸውን ሳክስ ማንም ሰው ለይቶ ማዳመጥ ይችላል፡፡ በ197ዐዎቹና በ196ዐዎቹ የተሰሩ የአነመሀሙድ አህመድ ትዝታዎች ፣ የእነአለማየሁ እሸቴ እነሂሩት በቀለ ሙዚቃዎች ከጌታቸው መኩሪያ ሳክስ ውጪ ጨው የሌለው ወጥ ነበር የሚሆኑት፡፡ ጌታቸው መኩሪያ ለሙዚቃ ተወልዶ ለሙዚቃ አድጎ ከሙዚቃ ጋር የሞተ የኢትዮጵያ ባለውለታ ነው፡፡ በጌታቸው መኩሪያ የሳክስፎን ሽለላ ወኔው ያልተቀሰቀሰ ዛሬም ሲሰማው ኢዮጵያን የማያስብ

ውርደቷ የማይሰማው፣ ውድቀቷ የማይቆጨው፣ መደፈሯ የማያንገበግበው ኢትዮጵያዊ የለም፡፡ የጌታቸው መኩሪየ የሳክስፎን ድምፅ አንዳች አይነት ምትሃት አለው፡፡ የማፋቀር፣ የማስተከዝ፣ የማነሳሰት፣ የማጀገን ቃና አለው፡፡ የሙላቱ አስታጥቄ የ6ዐዎቹ ቅንብር ዛሬም ድረስ ከነጣአሙ ሳይደበዝዝ ይደመጥ ዘንድ ጌታቸው መኩሪያ አስተዋፅኦ ትልቅ ነው፡፡ ትዝታ ይሁን አምባሰል፣ አንቺ ሆዬ ይሁን ባቲ ፣ቀረርቶ ይሁን ሽለላ፣ ለጌታቸው አፉን የፈታባቸው ራሱን የቀረፀባቸው ልዩ ቅኝቶቸ ነበሩ፡፡ ጌታቸው መኩሪያ ማለት ኢትዮጵያ በትዝታ ትንፋሽ ስትወከል ማለት ነው፡፡ አገር በቀለም ትወከል ካልን በአረንጓዴ ፣ ቢጫ ፣ ቀይ እንደምናስባት ሁሉ አገር በትንፋሽ ከተወከለች ወኪሏ የጌታቸው አይረሴ የሳክስፎን ትንፋሽ ነው፡እናመሠግናለን ጋሽ ጌታቸው ይህን ሁሉ ዘመን ስላጫወትከን ስላስደሰትከን ፣ ስላስተከዝከን፣ ስላስፎከርከን፣ ስላሸለልከን፡፡

ዛሬ ከኮልፌው ቅ .ጳወሎስ ተነስተህ አቋርጠኸው በምትሄደው ቅ. ጴጥሮስ ቤተክርስቲያን ጓሮ አርፈሃል፡፡ በልጅነታችን በአካል በዚያ ስታልፍ እናይህ ነበር፡፡ ሣታውቀን እንወድህ ነበር ፡፡ ዛሬ ድምፅህን ትተህ አሻራህን ተክለህ ተሻግረሃል፡፡ ደህና ሁን፡፡ ግን ግን ያንተን አይነት የሚያቀራርብ የሚያዋድድ፣ የሚያጀግን፣ የሚያበረታ ድምፅ ዛሬ ከማንይሆን የምንሰማው ማን ይሆን በትንፋሽ ትዝታችንን ከዛሬ ጋር ትናንታችንን ከነገ ጋር የሚያስተሳስርልን እንጃ፡፡ ለዚህ ፅሁፈ መፃፍ ምክንያት የሆነው መላ ቤተሰቡ በሙዚያ ፍቅር የወደቀው “የሒሩት ሬስቶራንትና ባር1 ባለቤት አቶ ጥበቡ ወ/ሚካኤል እና ባለቤቱ ወ/ሮሒሩት በቤታቸው ባዘጋጁት የጌታቸው መኩሪያ መታሰቢያ ዝግጅት ምክንያት ነው፡፡ በዝግጅቱ ላይ ጋሽ ጌታቸውን በደንብ የሚያውቀውና አብሮት ለመጫወትም እድል ያኘው ካናዳዊው ሳክስፎኒስት እና የጃዝ ሙዚቀኛ ለሰጠው ክብር ሊመሠገን ይገባዋል፡፡

አቶ ጌታቸው መኩሪያ ሳክሲፎኒስቱ እኝህ ነበሩ

መጠየቅ የማናውቀውን እንድናውቅና የማንችለውን እንድንችል ያደርጋል። መጠየቅ የጎደለውን እንድንሞላና የተጣመመውን እንድናስተካክል መንገድ ይከፍታል። መጠየቅ ያላየነውን እንድናይና ያልሰማነውን እንድንሰማ ያደርጋል። መጠየቅ እውቀታችን እንዲጨምርና ችሎታችን እንዲሰፋ ያደርጋል። መጠየቅ ሰው መብቱን እንዲያውቅና ተንቀሳቅሶ እርምጃ እንዲወስድ ያገፋፋል፡፡ በተቃራኒው ደግሞ፤ የማይጠይቅ የተጣመመ አያስተካክልም። የማይጠይቅ የጎደለ አይሞላም። የማይጠይቅ አያይም። የማይጠይቅ አይሰማም። የማይጠይቅ እውቀቱ አይጨምርም። የማይጠይቅ ችሎታው ከፍ አይልም። የማይጠይቅ አያድግም። የማይጠይቅ ነጻ አይደለም ወይም መሆን አይችልም። የማይጠይቅ አምናም ሆነ ዘንድሮ፤ ትላንትም ሆነ ዛሬ ያው ነው። ለውጥ የለውም፡፡ ከላይ ያልኩትን ላብራር።ባጭሩና ዋናው ነጥቡ የጠየቀ ያገኛል፤ ያልጠየቀ ግን አያገኝም ነው። የጠየቁትን ለማግኘት ሁለት ነገሮች ወሳኝ ናቸው። አንደኛው አስቦ ማድረግ ሲሆን ሁለተኛው ደግሞ አስቦ መጠየቅ ናቸው። አስቦ ማድረግ የምንፈልገውን ነገር ለማግኘት የምናሳየው እንቅስቃሴ ነው። ለምሳሌ ተንቀሳቅሰን እጆቻችን እንዲሰሩ የምናደርግበት ሁኔታ ሊሆን ይችላል። አስቦ መጠየቅ ደግሞ አይኖቻችንን ገልጠን መሻሻል ያለበት ማንኛውም ነገር ላይ ልብ ስንልና አስተያየት ሲኖረን ነው። መጠየቅ ሰው ሃሳቡን መሰረት በማድረግ እራሱን ይጠይቃል። በተመሳሳይ ደግሞ ተናግሮና በአፉ ቃላት አውጥቶ ይጠይቃል። አስቦ መጠየቅ፤ ካየነውና ከሰማናው በመነሳት ከውስጣችን የሚመነጨው ሃሳብ ነው። ይህ ለምሳሌ የዚህ ህንጻ አሰራር ጥሩ ነው ወይስ አይደለም የሚል ሊሆን ይችላል። እስካሁን ድረስ በማሽን ሳይሆን በበሬ መሬት እንደት ይታረሳል ሊሆን ይችላል። እኔ ነጻ

የማይጠይቅና የማይንቀሳቀስ ጥቅም ላይ ያልዋለ አቧራ የሚሰበስብ እቃ ብቻ ነው!

ነኝ ወይስ አይደለሁም ብለው እራስዎን የሚጠይቁት ጥያቄ ሊሆን ይችላል። በቃላት ተናግረን የምጠይቃቸው ጥያቄወች ደግሞ እንደሚታወቀው ተናግረን ሌላ ሶስተኛ አካል ስንጠይቅ ነው። ለምሳሌ የሆነ ነገር እንዴት እንደሚሰራ በራሳችን ካልቻልን ሰው ጠይቀን መፍትሄ የምንሻበት መንገድ ነው። ባጠቃላይ ሁሉም ነገር ከሃሳብ ይፈልቃል። ከዛም ያሰብነውንና የተመኘነውን ነገር ለማግኘት መጠየቅ የግድ ነው። ካልጠየቅንና ዝም ካልን ለማግኘትና ለማወቅ የተመኘነውን ሁሉ እናጣለን። ሌላ ስውም ሊነጥቀን ይችላል፡፡ የማይጠይቅ በሃሳቡም ሆነ በአካሉ አይንቀሳቀስም። እንደ ሁኔታው ቢለያይም ሰው ሲጠይቅ ያስባል፣ ይናገራል ወይም በአካል ተንቀሳቅሶ እርምጃ ይወስዳል። የማይንቀሳቀስ ሰው ልክ አንድ ቦታ ላይ ቁጭ ብሎ አቧራ የሚሰበስብ እቃ ጋር ይመሳሰላል። ሰውን እቃ ነው ማለቴ ሳይሆን ሁኔታው መመሳሰሉን ለማሳየት ነው፡፡ አንድ ቦታ ላይ የቆየ እቃ ጥቅም ላይ ስለማይውል የሚሰበስበው አቧራ ብቻ ነው ለማለት ነው። አቧራውን እፍ ሲሉት እቃው ልክ እንደዱሮው ነው። አቧራውም የውሸት ሽፋን ስለሆነ በቀላሉ እፍ ሲሉት አየር ላይ ይበተናል። የዚህ ጽሁፍ ዋናው አላማ ከላይ በምሳሌ እንደተጠቀሰው በሃሳቡም ሆነ በአካሉ የማይጠይቅ አምናም ሆነ ዘንድሮ ለውጥ አያመጣም ለማለት ነው። ሰው እንደዚህ መሆኑን እንደት ያውቀዋል? መልሱ በጣም ቀላል ነው። ለምሳሌ ተምሮም ሆነ ሳይማር ቋንቋ ከቀላቀለ፤ በቀጠሮ ለፈረንጅ ሲሆን በሰአቱ የሚደርስ ለኢትዮጵያዊ ሲሆን ግን የሚዘገይ፤ ቀለም ትምህርት ቢወስድም ሁለገብ ያልሆነና አይቶ የማይጠይቅ። ምሳሌው ብዙ ነው። ሰው ይህን ሊያውቅ የሚችለው ግን እራሱን መጠየቅ ሲችል ነው።

ቅምሻ ትዕግስት ካነበበችው የላክችልን

መናደድ ያለ ነገር ነው፡፡ በህይወት ውስጥ ሰውን የሚያናድዱ የተለያዩ ምክንያቶች አሉ፡፡ ለምሳሌ ሰው ደስ የማይል ነገር ሲያገጥመው፣ የሚወደውንና የሚፈልገውን ነገር ሲያጣ፣ ሰው ሲዋሸው፣ ሰው ታማኝ ሳይሆን ሲቀርበት፣ ነጻነቱን ሲያጣ፣ ሃገሩና ወገኑ ሲበደል ሲያይ ወዘተ ሊሆን ይችላል፡፡ ምናልባት ነጻነቱን ሲያጣ፣ ሃገሩና ወገኑ ሲበደል ሲያይ የሚናደድ ያደጉ ሃገሮች ዜጋ ላይ ይበዛል፡፡ ፈረንጅ አንገብጋቢው ነገር ላይ እልህ ይይዘዋል፡፡ ኢትዮጵያዊ ላይ ግን ያንሳል፡፡ እንደሚመስለኝና እንደማየው አብዛኛው ኢትዮጵያዊ የሚናደደው ለግሉ ጥቅም ሲል ነው፡፡ መጀመሪያ ነጻነት፣ ሃገርና ወገን ካልቀደሙ የግል ጥቅም ብቻ ማስከበር አስቸጋሪ ነው፡፡ ፈረንጅ የሚያደርገው ሁሉም ነገር ትክክል ነው ለማለት ሳይሆን ፈረንጅ ቀዳሚና አንገብጋቢ የሆነውን ጉዳይ ማስቀደም ያዘወትራል ለማለት ነው፡፡ ንዴት በማንም ላይ ይደርሳል፡፡ በዚህም ሳቢያ ሰው ንዴቱን ካልተቆጣጠረ የበለጠ ስህተት እንድጨምር ያደርጋል፡፡ በኔም ደርሶብኛል፡፡ ሰው ግን ከስህተቱ ይማራል፡፡ ዋናው ጥበብ ግን ንዴትን ተቆጣጥሮ

እልህና ንዴትን እንደት አድርጎ ማስተናገድ ይቻላል?የሚያስፈልገውን ነገር ግብ እንዲመታ ማድረግ መቻል ነው፡፡ አስፈላጊ ቦታ ላይም ሰው ተናዶ እልህ ቢይዘው እንደ ደካማነት መቆጠር የለበትም፡፡ የሚያናድድም፣ የሚያታግልም፣ እልህ የሚያስጨርስም ሰውም ሆነ ሁኔታ አለ፡፡ እንደ ቦታውና እንደ ሁኔታው ይለያያል፡፡ ዞሮ ዞሮ አንደኛውን ደረጃ የሚይዘው የሚያሸንፍ ብቻ ነው፡፡ የሚሸነፍ ግን እስከሚነሳ ድረስ ሁል-ጊዜ መሬት ላይ ነው፡፡ ይህንን ማስታወስ ሊጠቅም ይችላል፡፡ ሰው ደግሞ መሬት ላይ ሁል-ጊዜ መንከባለል የለበትም፡፡ ትግል ማለት በማንኛውም ገንቢያዊ እውቀት የግል ህይወትን ለማሻሻልም ሆነ ሃገርንና ወገንን ለመጥቀም መታገልንም ይጨምራል፡፡ ብዙ ሰወች መታገል ምን እንደሆነ በትክክል አይረዱትም፡፡ ለምሳሌ በቃ ውኃም ቀጭን ነው፤ ሰማይም እሩቅ ነው ብለው ዝም ይላሉ፡፡ በውኃ ቅጥነትና በሰማይ ርቀት ውስጥ ግን ብዙ መታወቅ ያለበት ነገር አለ፡፡ ውኃ ለምን እንደቀጠነና ሰማይም እንዴት እደራቀ ለማወቅ ብዙ ግድ ማለት ያስፈልጋል፡፡ በቀላሉ ማድረግ የሚቻለውን ለማድረግ ማቃት የለበትም፡፡ ሰው ስህተቱ ሲነገረው ከመናደድ ይልቅ ትምህርት መውሰድ በተሻለ ነበር፡፡ ብዙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ተፈታታኝ ጥያቄ ሲቀርብላቸው እልህ ይይዛቸውና ተናደው በግላቸው የተጠቁ ይመስላቸዋል፡፡ በተፈታታኝ ጥያቄ ከመናደድ ይልቅ ነጻነታቸውን ሲያጡ ተናደው በታገሉ ነበር፡፡ ግን መታገል ማለት ቡጢ ብቻ ይመስላቸዋል፡፡ ከላይ እንደተጠቀሰው ለግል ጉዳይ በንዴትና በእልህ ከመጠመድ ይልቅ፤ መታገል ከመሬት ሆኖ አሸናፊውን ከማየት ያድናል፡፡

Residents of three more Western regions will be eligible for extended employment insurance benefits starting this summer, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday after touring fire-ravaged Fort McMurray and thanking first responders for saving much of the city.

The March federal budget allocated $582-million over two years to provide extra coverage for workers left unemployed by a crash in commodity prices, but residents of Edmonton, southern Saskatchewan and the southern British Columbia interior were exempted from the enriched benefits.

“We’ve looked at the numbers. They show that additional help is merited,” he said.

In Edmonton the extension will result in unemployed workers being eligible for five additional weeks of EI, up to a maximum of 50 weeks. The extra assistance for workers will be available as of July. The Fort McMurray area was one of 12 regions included in the initial package.

extended EI benefits.

She’s argued that the decision didn’t reflect the many Edmonton jobs tied to the struggling oil and gas sector. On Friday she thanked Mr. Trudeau for adding Edmonton to the list.

Much of Mr. Trudeau’s visit on Friday was spent in Fort McMurray. The community’s rebuilding will take years but the Prime Minister said that the federal government will help Alberta with every step of the process.

“We don’t know exactly what kinds of resources will be needed, though we now have a better sense of the scope of the devastation,” he said of rebuilding the northern city.

More than 80,000 residents of Fort McMurray are still in limbo nearly two weeks after flames entered the community. The Notley government has said that it won’t release re-entry plans for nearly two more weeks.

Mr. Trudeau took the time to thank hundreds of firefighters and first responders in Fort McMurray. The city’s small fire department, with only 130 first responders, is credited with saving much of the community despite the chaos of an evacuation that saw residents shunted into the northern Alberta wilderness with little warning.

The Fort McMurray wildfire in northern Alberta is carving a new path of destruction, destroying an oilsands camp while racing eastward toward more industry sites. The fire, which has become known as "the beast," grew by a staggering 57,000 hectares in the last 24 hours, consuming 423,000 hectares of boreal forest as of Wednesday morning. Wildfire information officer Travis Fairweather attributes the "pretty significant" growth to "extreme fire conditions." "It's really being burning intensely and the winds have been carrying it," he said Wednesday. The fire forced 8,000 non-essential workers to flee the area Monday night, and a mandatory evacuation order remains in place for all work camps north of the city. The majority were sent by ground to work camps near Fort MacKay, about 53 kilometres to the north. But some were also bused, or later flown, south to Edmonton and Calgary. By Tuesday morning, the flames had made their way to the Blacksand Executive Lodge, which provides accommodations to hundreds of workers in the area. The building’s sprinkler system was no match for the raging inferno, and all 665 units of the building were consumed by the fire. Within hours, the flames had spread east, threatening the Noralta Lodge Fort McMurray Village, a facility that can house more than 3,000 people, and Horizon North’s Birch Mountain, a 540-unit facility. Noralta officials took to social media Tuesday night to say the fire had

been held back, but the site was still at risk and crews would be working through the night to protect the facility. Six kilometres away from the Blacksand Lodge, the Birch Mountain Lodge, also owned by Horizon North, remains in the path of the fire. “We’ve got eight camps in a perimeter around Fort McMurray, out of seven which have been evacuated,” Rod Graham, president and CEO of Horizon North, told CBC News on Wednesday. “We have not sent any of our people into harm’s way, but from unconfirmed reports we’ve had, our Birch property is still standing.” The wind was also expected to push the fire towards the Suncor and Syncrude oilsands facilities, but the province said both are highly resilient to fire. Each site is surrounded by wide barriers of cleared firebreak and gravel and are guarded by their own firefighting crews. However, only essential personnel remain at both plants. Crews in the area continue to work around the clock to douse the flames and create firebreaks around critical infrastructure, but the fire has become increasingly volatile amid high winds and tinder-dry conditions. “Over the last 48 hours it has certainly grown significantly, particularly along the eastern edge, growing toward the Saskatchewan border, but also growing north toward the oilsands facilities,” said Bruce Macnab, with the Northern Forestry Centre in Edmonton. “In these kind of conditions, the fire crews will be doing their best to fight the sides of the fire when conditions allow, but that’s very much weather dependent.”

Ontario is making it safer and easier for people to receive and use their social assistance benefits. He continued, "My real goal is social change and broad policy change."

He has the foundation and the experience to be a formidable voice in government. From chairing the Caribana Arts Group -- that heroically fought to preserve the legacy of the unique cultural extravaganza in Toronto -- to being a founder of Osgoode's Society Against Institutional Injustice, he has made long-lasting impression on many of us.

I hope he wins. He has to win.

Ethiopia: The Era of Great Famines is Far From Over – Not Yet!

Alex de Waal, executive director of the World Peace Foundation at Tufts University, Op-ed on May 8 on the online version of` NY times titled: Is the Era of great famines over?

Alemneh Wase News: The number of hunger stricken ethiopians increases to 7.5 million.

A month ago he travelled through the northern and central regions of Ethiopia and was overwhelmed by the effort of the Ethiopian government in dealing with the famine that affected about a fifth of the country’s population. He claimed that Ethiopia has been transformed from a symbol of a country plagued by a recurring famine which saw 600,000 people perish in the 1984 draught that “turned the name Ethiopia synonym for shriveled, glazed-eyed children on saline drips….” to a country that is effectively dealing with a famine that affected about 20 million people. Quite a remarkable progress!

He went in detail how peace, greater transparency and prudent planning helped the regime fend off starvation. The narration seems to have been copied right out of the regime’s image building and deceptive propaganda that fostered humanitarian assistance and development funds keep on pouring into the coffers of the government in an unprecedented scale for the past quarter of a century.

The prevailing famine, for him, affecting close to 20 million people only dealt a dent to the miraculous growth of GDP, by slowing the growth down to a mere 8.5% for 2015 and 2016 from a high of more than 10% growth of 2014. This rosy growth rate –concocted from tortured numbers by the government and echoed by IMF and other donor countries –is a facade retched up by the regime as part of the image building scheme, corroborated by donners. A growth, no doubt, created a few lords of poverty who have enriched themselves at the cost of a vast swath of the population visibly suffering from the corrosive anxiety of poverty.

A polarized growth which can be palpably felt in Addis by mere observation of a flock of beggars that conspicuously swarm the modern buildings mushrooming in the city.

One couldn’t agree more with the writer’s conclusion that “there is no record of people dying of famine in a democracy.” And also with the assertion that “politics creates famine, and politics can stop it.”

An assertion copied from the experience of other countries and pasted to the Ethiopian situation where neither

democracy nor a political system capable of stopping famine exist. Experts closely monitoring the situation assert to the contrary: Ethiopia has a totalitarian government lacking the will and the capacity to mitigate the impact of recurring famine endemic to the country.

Ethiopia is not a democracy. Unless, of course, Alex believes the bizarre claim that the regime won the election by a 100% in the last sham election, 96.6% in the previous one, where journalists and opposition politicians have been summarily imprisoned and some brutally tortured and/or murdered. The writer conveniently misses to mention the annual country reports of gross human rights violation by the US state department, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty international.

In today’s Ethiopia, a handful of ethnocentric freaks hailing from a minority ethnic group obscenely possess power and wealth running the country with a bandit system. I fail to see how the very undemocratic system where transparency and accountability are missing could effectively help stave off the dire situation of famine that is killing children at worst, or permanently damaging their life by malnourishment, at best.

All the factors mentioned by the writer to have contributed for the government to fend off starvation miserably fail to apply to the Ethiopian situation. Undoubtedly, prevalence of peace and political stability significantly contribute to growth and development, having a cascading effect of augmenting the living standard of the people. However, unless one defines peace to mean solely an absence of war with bordering countries, warranting internal peace has never been the hall mark of the government of Ethiopia. Even border skirmishes continually happen on virtually every corner of the country.

Lasting peace only prevails where freedom exists.

In the absence of freedom to speak, write, organize, and of genuine elections peace would only be a mirage –as is the case in Ethiopia. Obviously, the movement of people to look for a better livelihood is also severely curtailed in the absence of freedom. History tells us that there has never been true peace in a totalitarian government and the regime in Ethiopia is no exception! In today’s Ethiopia the government can only be equated to an apartheid system where a minority from one small ethnic group entirely controls the government. Peace may seem to prevail for those powerful oligarchs who are protected by all the might of the government with full support of the western world –who are blindsided by the

service they are getting to fight terrorism in the neighboring Somalia. The case is not true to 90% of the population, though.

Unlike Alex’s claim, the system of government in Ethiopia today is neither accountable nor transparent. The staggering amount of funds that have been pouring to the country to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars have never been put to the full use of their intended targets. Sadly, this has been going on with a full knowledge of the donners and the so called development partners. Despite their awareness of how development funds and of aid money that have been rampantly siphoned off by a corrupt system, donner countries have carried on applying the same policy of catering for dictators –turning a blind eye dovetailed with being part of the corrupt system.

To make matters worse, the Ethiopian government use these abundant funds to hire a lobbyist group like D.L. Piper to project a presentable image through some bought out politicians and experts, including academicians here in the US whose real concern is the exorbitant amount of money that is rolling into their bank accounts, and warranting a constant flow of funding for some academicians to run projects. The writer in question definitely fits in the above category.

Alex has probably been driven to feeding and distribution sites set by the government to show case their best case scenario of providing services to the victims. Upon his return, he wrote on a venerated newspaper editorial exactly what the government of Ethiopia provided him to write. He showed no care at all to do any fact checking from other sources to substantiate what the authorities are claiming to be a fact in the ground. I was dismayed to read an article taken right from the TPLF deception manual, sugar coated by some universally accepted notion that hardly apply to the Ethiopian situation.

In sharp contrast to Alex’s op-ed page in the NYT where he absurdly toyed with a question of the era of famine being over, based on the Ethiopian experience –not quite fitting the caption of the article; another reporter named Christiabel Ligami, visiting Ethiopia probably at the same time has reported ten days ago on equaltimes.org about the emerging hunger stories to the world. Unlike Alex, Ligami wrote unfavorably about the ludicrous effort of the government to censor starvation, lest not to project an image incapable of containing the impending disaster.

How could the two reports be dramatically different after visiting the same country almost at the same time? Where Alex flirted with the idea of the era of famine being over praising the efforts of the government to control the damages of starvation; the other article talked about the glaring drought compounded by the censorship imposed on NGOs and journalists who were forbidden by the government not to report the severity of the situation and the ensuing loss of lives in the affected areas. Ligami stated that journalists were imprisoned for talking to foreigners about the drought.

The variation in the two reports could easily be explained by the sources they

used to write the report. While Alex entirely based his observation on the visits he made of food distribution sites that government officials showed him, Ligami gathered his information from journalists and actual victims of the drought.

BBC, The daily Telegraph, NPR, Grham Pebble, the Auckland Institute all seem to concur with Ligami as they have reported that the government has imposed censorship on foreigners, local journalists and even organizations tasked to help the drought victims not to reveal the egregious situation in Ethiopia to the world. In addition, the government’s intransigency, at the onset of the draught, not to accept the advice of UN, FAO and other similar organizations’ request to timely mobilize resources might have also dramatically worsen the situation.

In a BBC interview, one mother was narrating how she lost a son who died of hunger. Immediately after the story surfaced, the regime officials tracked her and forced her to recant her story in the Ethiopian media and said that her son died of an illness, instead. Far from controlling the dire effects of the prevailing calamity and alleviating the deplorable situation from taking a turn to the worse, the government of Ethiopia was obsessively concerned about the image of the country whose economy they have been absurdly claiming to have grown in double digits.

As much as Alex’s extensive dwelling on the prudence of the government in meeting the challenges, he never mentioned the impact of the land policy of the government that has uprooted the indigenous people from their land (without proper compensation commensurate to their loss of a source of livelihood and a sea change in life style) by leasing it at a dirt-cheap price to foreign investors from India and Saudi Arabia. The local people became landless over night without a grazing land for their live stocks or a plot of land to farm, either. Basically, the land was used as a ‘surrogate mother’ where the locals never benefited from such ventures obtained by leasing the womb of their land while Indians and Saudis ship out the produce to their respective country.

Op-eding on influential newspapers like NYT no doubt builds an image that could sway the minds of policy makers by building a false image of facts on the ground. On the flip side, the victims of tyranny lack the financial wherewithal to lobby in the American congress or write the truth on the front pages of those newspapers. But thanks to the pervasive presence of the social media and its wider reach, the conspiracy to silence who are silently dying of hanger has not been successful.

It is a colossal travesty that the writer claims to be the executive director of a world peace organization. My trajectory barely misses its mark, if I predicted the world to remain in turmoil (not at peace) as long as the likes of Alex de Waal continue to do such a shoddy work –warranting the longevity of totalitarian regimes and their own stay at the helm of an organization with no accountability.

Today, Ontario passed landmark climate change legislation that lays a foundation for the province to join the biggest carbon market in North America and ensures that the province is accountable for responsibly and transparently investing proceeds from the cap and trade program into actions that reduce greenhouse gas pollution, create jobs and help people and businesses shift to a low-carbon economy. Under the Climate Change Mitigation and Low-Carbon Economy Act, money raised from Ontario’s cap and trade program will be deposited into a new Greenhouse Gas Reduction Account. Refugees Turning To Food Banks Is 'Cultural': McCallum

OTTAWA — The fact some newly arrived Syrian refugees are turning to food banks to supplement their own pantries can be partially explained by a "cultural element," the immigration minister said Wednesday.

Food banks from Halifax to B.C. have reported serving hundreds of Syrians who have come to Canada since November, the month the Liberal government launched a major resettlement program to bring 25,000 people by the end of February.

Immigration Minister John McCallum acknowledged Wednesday the income assistance is not high, but said that's not the only reason Syrians are showing up at food banks.

"There may be a cultural element. You have to remember the refugees are coming from an entirely different world," he told a Senate committee studying the Syrian refugee resettlement program.

"Our world is very different than their world. Sometimes they have been living in refugee camps; maybe it's the norm to be offered meals. I'm not overly concerned about this."

Very few of the Syrians settled in Canada are from refugee camps — the vast majority of over 4 million refugees from the Syrian war don't live in UN camps but in cities or informal settlements in the region.

To date, about 27,000 Syrian refugees have arrived in Canada, spread among nearly 300 communities.

support from the federal government that is linked to the size of the family and provincial social assistance rates.

Data released by the Immigration Department in January revealed that most government assisted Syrian refugee families comprise between five and eight people, although some are as large as 14.

More than 9,400 Syrians are privately sponsored, so their income is supposed to be covered by the private groups who have brought them to Canada.

The remainder are refugees who costs are shared between the government and private groups.

"I'm very surprised by the word cultural element of going to food banks," said Conservative Sen. Selma Ataullahjan.

"I thought people go to food banks if you don't have enough food."

The Liberal government has earmarked nearly $1 billion for the Syrian refugee resettlement program and have said a full breakdown of how that money has been spent so far would be made public by the end of this month.

The immediate challenge of finding the government-assisted refugees housing seems to have eased with about 98 per cent now in permanent homes.

In addition to the refugees already in Canada, thousands more are awaiting final approvals on the applications submitted by private sponsorship groups before the end of March.

Those groups had originally been told their requests would not be met before 2017 but after an outcry, McCallum agreed to finalize the files by the end of this year or early next and additional staff have now been sent overseas to process the files.

of the Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC), Oromia’s largest registered political party, and 21 others, including many senior OFC members, were charged under the counterterrorism law, four months after their arrest on December 23, 2015. Bekele is accused of having links with the banned Oromo Liberation Front, a charge frequently used by the government to target ethnic Oromo dissidents and others. Deeply committed to nonviolence, Bekele has consistently urged the OFC to participate in elections despite the ruling party’s iron grip on the polls. Bekele and the others have described horrible conditions during their detention, including at the notorious Maekalawi prison, where torture and other ill-treatment are routine.

The “evidence” against them included a video of their protest and a list of demands, which included the immediate release of opposition leaders and others arrested for peaceful protests, and the establishment of an independent body to investigate and prosecute those who killed and injured peaceful protesters. They face three years in prison if convicted.

New Report from State Department Details Widespread Human Rights

Abuses in Ethiopia By The Oakland Institute

Oakland, CA—The United States Department of State recently released its annual Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, including an in-depth account of the human rights situation in Ethiopia. The report confirmed many of the ongoing human rights violations that the Oakland Institute has detailed in Ethiopia, including: abuses associated with the Government’s villagization program; restrictions on basic freedoms of expression, assembly, association, movement, and religious affairs; restrictions on activities of civil society organizations; and more.

“The US State Department report confirms that countless human rights abuses are being perpetrated by the Ethiopian Government,” said Anuradha Mittal, Executive Director of the Oakland Institute. “It also highlights appalling issues associated with Ethiopia’s criminal system, such as the use of torture, a weak and politically influenced judiciary, life-threatening prison conditions, and the use of electric shocks and beatings to extract confessions.”

Caught in this horrific system are thousands of journalists, political opposition members, land rights defenders, students, and indigenous and religious leaders, who have been unlawfully detained and arrested under Ethiopia’s draconian Anti-Terrorism Proclamation.

Included in the State Department report are the cases of Ethiopian Muslim leaders, detained and charged under the Anti-Terrorism Proclamation for participating in protests for religious freedom; and of land rights defenders Omot Agway Okwoy, Ashinie Astin, and Jamal Oumar Hojele who were arrested en route to a food security conference in Nairobi and charged under the

Congo-Kinshasa, Congo-Brazzaville, Burundi, Uganda, Rwanda, Benin. Ask Robert Mugabe, Africa’s longest reigning president, about these countries and doubt not he would beam with pride. This is a partial litany of African countries, whose presidents sought third terms in 2015, the year Mugabe chaired the African Union, despite constitutional provisions limiting them to two terms.

To those who defend presidential term-limits, Mugabe, speaking from an African Union podium, had two-word ready-made response – pink noses. Amazingly, his distinguished audience, amongst them a sizeable contingent of African presidents, reacted not with disdain and outrage but suppressed laughter and scattered applause.

Is Africa reverting to the 1980s era of cartoonish dictators? Certainly, the portent, which places Benin, a precursor of Africa’s democratic epiphany in the 1990s, in the same list with perennially genocide-prone Burundi, is not encouraging.

No nation in history rose higher and faster than the Soviet Union did in the three decades between the mid-1920s and mid-1950s. When most African countries gained independence in the 1960s, this

Anti-Terrorism law.

Countless more stories were not included in the report, including that of indigenous Anuak leader Okello Akway Ochalla, who was abducted in South Sudan and forcibly taken to Ethiopia, in complete violation of extradition treaties and international law, for speaking out about abuses perpetrated against the people of Gambella, Ethiopia. On April 27, 2016, after more than two years in jail, Mr. Okello was handed a nine year prison sentence.

“Over the past years, countless indigenous communities have been evicted from their land to make way for large-scale land grabs in Ethiopia,” commented Mittal. “These displacements are happening without the free, prior, and informed consent of the impacted populations, and when communities resist, they are forcibly removed by means of violence, rape, imprisonment, and the denial of humanitarian assistance, including food aid. To make matters worse, the people who stand up and fight for the rights of those communities – people like Mr. Okello and Pastor Omot – are being jailed. This must stop.”

“Ethiopia is the United States’ closest ally in Africa and the second largest recipient of US overseas development assistance in Africa,” she continued. “In these unique roles, the US has both the power and the moral responsibility to ensure that basic human rights and the rule of law are upheld in the country. Through its report, the United States acknowledges the widespread human rights violations taking place in Ethiopia. The question is: when will the US finally do something to address this egregious situation?”

But by the 1970s Africa went on to retain more of the authoritarianism rather than the developmental state of the Soviets. By the 1980s, only a handful of African countries, prominently Botswana and Ivory Coast, both rejecters of the Soviet model, attained the annual four percent GDP growth developmental states would be expected to register for two successive decades. In fact, the norm was for real income to decline below pre-independence levels.

When the wave of democratization swept Africa in the 1990s, an essential base for its sustenance, a militant intellectual class committed to its cause was lacking. Europe had philosophers, pamphleteers, writers, artists, poets, playwrights, who were seriously committed to the cause of their age. It was the moral and intellectual environment established by this creative elite, rather than popular pressure by itself, which eventually enabled the consolidation of democracy.

As exemplified by the backslide from democracy in Egypt after the 2010 revolution though massive peaceful protests are indispensible catalysts, democracy is not possible without an elite committed to its principles. African democracy wavers because of

the wavering of its elite due to primeval tribal allegiance, politicized religion and grand corruption. But the dismal state of democracy notwithstanding, the much delayed economic transformation of Africa, thanks in no small part to Western aid, has been on the upswing in recent years. Following, the 2008 US financial meltdown, more than half of the world’s ten fastest growing economies have become African. Even stateless Somalia’s growth rate, no doubt much to the glee of libertarians, is hovering around the magical four percent marker. Jumpstarting the continental economy has at last been successfully accomplished. Only its sustainability remains as the last threshold to be crossed.

While this is indeed welcome news not only to African but also to the world at large, the distortion of its significance, which entangles a nation’s welfare solely or mostly to its economic performance, is in the word of R.H. Tawney, author of the 1920s classic, The Acquisitive Society, “the confusion of the minor department of the life with the whole life.”

No nation has ever been defined by the good and services it produces. No adage has ever been more wrong than “America’s business (in the sense of its national purpose) is business ( in its commercial sense).” A nation is sustained by its spirit and this is an amalgam of its memory of the past and hope for the future. Only on a foundation established by this sentiment – a preserve of writers, poets, artists, politicians, engineers or techno-wizards – is sustainable economic growth – the

preserve of scientists, engineers, techno-wizards and business persons – possible.

Africa’s tragedies- the ravages of slavery, the lost years under colonialism, the crippling post-independence malaise- is an untapped reservoir of epic novels, transcendent poems, world-touring plays, thought-provoking essays, new insights into governance and much more. It is to tap into this real-life reservoir, which the rest of the world can only experience vicariously, that Africa is in dire need of intellectual elite, which is passionate about defending the truth, which is universal in spirit, which is wary of convention, which is preoccupied with the pursuit of knowledge, and which is contemptuous of money. Africa’s conscience, the ultimate antidote against tyranny, is waiting to be stirred.

No leader in Africa imagined his role more indispensable than Ethiopia’s Meles Zenawi, who died pitifully convinced, thanks to the cruel cynicism of the sycophants who surrounded him that he was genius. If Mugabe and his third-term seeking peers are apt to notice, post-Meles Ethiopia is faring no worse than before. No leader in history, let alone a dictator, has ever been indispensable to a nation.

ኤፕሪል 30 ቀን 2016 ዔ.ም. በቶሮንት በኤርፖርት አካባቢ በሚገኘው በክራውን ፕላዛ የታውን ሆል አዳራሽ ከጁላይ 3 ቀን እስከ ጁላይ 9 ቀን የኢትዮጵያውያን ሰሜን አሜሪካ ስፖርት ፌደሬሽን ከ 2 ሰአት እስከ 6 ሰአት ድረስ ለሚደረገው ታላቅ ዝግጅት የኤሴኢፍኤኔ የቦርድ አባላት በዚሁ በመገኘት ገለጻ አድርገዋል። በወቅቱ ጥሪ የተደረገላቸው በቶሮንቶ የሚገኙ ነጋዴዎች የሚዲያ አባላት እንዲሁም የቶሮንቶ ነዋሪዎች ተገኝተዋል። የዚህ ስብሰባ ዋና ዓላማ ራሳቸውን ለማስተዋውቅና የ2016 ለሚደረገው ቶርናመንትና ባህላዊ ዝግጅት ምን እንደሆነ ገለፃ ለማድረግና በተለይ ነጋዴዎች ከ ኢስፍና ጋር ስለ ቢዝነሥ ሁኔታውችን ለመወያየት ነበር።

በዚህ እለት ስብሰባውን በንግግር የከፈቱት አቶ ስምሶን ሲሆኑ፣ “ከ15 ዓመት በህዋላ የሰፌንን ቶሮንቶ 2016 ዓ.ም. አዘጋጅ አሸናፊዎች ስለሆናችሁ እንክዋን ደስ አላችሁ! ‘ Toronto is the beuautful vibrant city’ “ “...በተለይ ቶሮንቶና አካባቢው እስከ 40 ሺህ ኢትዮጵያውያን ይኖራሉ በሞላ ካናድ እስከ 80 ሺህ ወይም ከዚያ በላይ እስከ መቶ ሺ እንድሚኖሩ ይገመታል። ይህ ለእኛ ጥሩ ዜና ነው። ምክንያቱም ትልቅ ኮሚኒቲ አለ ማለት ነው።

በዛሬው እለት የምናደርገው ታውን ሆል ስብሰባ በየአመቱ በአዘጋጅ ከተማ ላይ የምናደርገው ተከታታይ የስብሰባ ሥረዓት ነው። ይህንን የምናደርገው እራሳችንን በቅርብ ለማስተዋወቅ እንዲሁም የዛሬው

ዘንድሮ የኢትዮጵያውያን የሰሜን አሜሪካ ስፖርትና የባህል ፌስትቫል በታላቅ ዝግጅት በቶሮንቶ በ2016 ዓም የሚካሄድ

መሆኑን በታውን ሆል ስብሰባ ተደረገ።ትኩረታችን በቬኒዲግ አካባቢ ያሉትን ሕጎች ለነጋዴዎች ለማስተዋወቅና በተለይ፡ለሚነሱ፡ጥያቄዎች መልስና ማብራሪያ ለመስጠት ነው።

ከዚያ በፊት ራሴን ላስተዋውቅ፣ ሳምሶን ሙልጌታ እባላለሁ። የሥራ አስኪያጅ ክፍል ሃላፊ ነኝ። ባልደረቦችን ላስተዋውቅ፣አቶ ጌታቸው የኤፌሶን ፕሬዘዳንት፣ አቶ ተካበ ዘውዴ የውድድር አዘጋጅ፣፣ አቶ ሳሚ ታደስ ፋይናንስ ሃላፊ፣ አቶ ዓለም አበበ የቢዝነስ ማኔጀር አቶ ውብሸት ውቤ ገንዘብ ያዥ ናቸው። በመቀጥልም የሰፍኔን ጠቅላላ ሁኔ የሚያብራራ በአቶ ሳምሶን በ16 በስላይድ የተደገፈ በእንግሊዘኛ ቅዋንቅዋ ለቤቱ ቀርብዋል።

ከዚያም የሰፌኒን ፕሬዘዳንት አቶ ጌታቸው ተስፋዬ ለቤቱ አጭር መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል። እርሳቸው ንግግራቸውን የጀመሩት አቶ ሳምሶንን በማመስገን ሲሆን፣ የተከበራችሁ በቶሮንቶ የምትገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያን እንደገና በጥሩ፡ተቀብላችሁናል። ብዙ ማስታወቂያ ሳናደርግ እዚህ መገኘታችሁ በጣም ደስ የሚል ነው። አቶ ሳምሶን እንደተናገረው በቶሮንቶ በጣም ጠንካራ ኮሚኒቲ አለ። በፊትም በዚሁ ቶሮንቶ ቶርናመንት ስናደርግ ከኮሚኒቲው ያገኘነው እርዳታ ቀላል አይደለም። ዘንድሮም በምናደርገው የቶሮንቶ የስፖርት ክለብና የኢትዮጵያ ማህበር የሚያደርግልን መተጋገዝ በጣም ጥሩ ነው ብለን እንገምታለን።

እንደሚታወቀው ከአሜሪካን ወጥተን ካናዳ ውስጥ ብዙ ውድደር ስለማናደርግ ብዙ ቻሌንጅ ይጠብቀናል። ከገንዘብ አያያዝ ጀምሮ ብዙ ችግሮች አሉ። ይሕንን ቻለንጅ ለመወጣት ቶሮንቶ የሚኖሩ ኢትዮጵያውያን ይተባበሩናል ብለን እናምናለን። አሁን የቀረን ሁለት ወር ነው። ስለዚህ በደንብ ተግተን በመተባበር መሥራት አለብን። እናንተም ሃላፊነትም አለባችሁ። በዚህም አጋጣሚ ለዚሁ የግር ክዋስ ጨዋታ ለመመልከት ከአሜሪካ ብዙ ሰዎች ይመጣሉ። በዛሬው እለት ያደረግነው ስብስባ ድንገተኛ እንጂ አስበንበት አይደለም። ለብዙዎቻችን የፋሲካ በኣል መሆኑን አውቃለሁ። አንድ ጊዜ ኮንትራት ስለፈረምን ያንንም መለወጥ ስለአልቻልን ነው። ስለሆንም በዚህ በዓል ላይ ሥራችሁን ትታችሁ ስለተገኛችሁ አመሰግናለሁ። በተለይ የዛሬው ስብሰባ የሚያተኩረው በቬንዲግ ጥያቄ ላይ ነው። ለዚሁ ጉዳይ አቶ ዓለም ሰፋ ያለ ማብራሪያ የምትፈልጉትን ጠይቁ መልስ ታገኛላችሁ።ሳምሶን እንዳለው ስለ ፋይናንስ ጉዳይ ብዙውን ጊዜ የምንታማበት ጉዳይ አለ። ገንዘቡን ሰብስባችሁ የት ታደርጉታላችሁ? ማን ይጠቅምበታል? ገንዘቡ የት የት እንደሚወጣ ለሚለው አቶ ሳሚ ታደስ የፋይናንስ ሃላፊ ደረጃ በደረጃ በደንብ ያስረዳል።፡እኛ የሕዝብ ድርጅት ነንና የምንደብቀው ነገር የለም። አንዳንድ ጊዜ ስህተቶች እንሰራለን፤ ነገር ግን ሁልጊዜም ቢሆን ዓላማችን የኢትዮጵያን ቀን ሕዝብን ማሳባሰብና ተጨዋቾችን

መርዳት ነው። የሕዝብ እስከሆን ድረስ ግልጽነ ስለሚያስፈልግ የጠየቃችሁንንን ሁሉንም ነገር መመለስ እንችላለን።፡

በመቀጠልም አቶ ሳሚ ታደሰ የፋይናንስ ጠቅላላ ሪፖርት ለቤቱ በስላይድ በተደገፈ ገለጻ ለቤቱ አቅርበዋል። በዝርዝርም በመግለጽ በቂ የሆነ መልስና ስለፋይናንስ ጉዳይ በሚመልከት በአጥጋቢ ሁኔታ ለቤቱ መልስ ስጥተውበታል።

በመቀጠልም የቶሮንቶ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ የሆኑት አቶ ሽመልስና እንዲሁም የቶሮንቶ ስታር ሃላፊ የሆኑት አቶ ሱራፌል ወደ መድረኩ ብቅ በማለት ሃሳባቸውን ለቤቱ ለግሰዋል። እንክዋን ድህና መጣችሁ በማለት በሚቅጥለው በቶሮንቶ በሚደርገው ታላቅ ውድድር ተሳትፎ አድርገው እስከመጨርሻው በዓሉ እስከሚፈጸም በሃላፊነት ለማገልገል ቃል ገብተዋል።
