MODEL“ROTA-TUNNEL”

We are pleased to introduce our high speed

shrink sleeve labeling tunnels - Model “Rota-

Tunnel” which has been awarded the coveted

“PACKMACHINE” award from Indian Institute

of Packaging and has won accolades from the

The machine has been designed for shrink

labeling of empty bottles/jars which are kept

inverted (upside down) and held in special

rotating type fixtures/pugs to ensure that there

is uniform heat flow for the container. The

machine works on principle of conventional

heat process thereby avoiding any surface

contact for the shrink sleeves to avoid

“wrinkles”and 'Co-agulation”effects.

The machine are equipped with IR heaters

(short wave and medium wave type) for heat

exposure and treatment at specific zones on a

bottle with complicated shape and profile. This

ensures minimal “bleeding effect” and avoids

“deformation” of container due to over heat

exposure.

are mechanical indexing units or oscillating

mechanisms used to transform the constant

speed rotary motion of the input shaft into

intermittent one-way or oscillating movement

of the output shaft by way of a cam drive

profiles and followers. Once the motion profile

is decided and manufactured it cannot be

changed unless the indexing mechanism is

exchanged. An exception is the servo-driven

indexing unit with a backlash-free, constant

velocity globoidal cam mechanism.

Packam has many years of experience in design

and manufacture of indexers. All the materials

and ha rdware used i s f rom reputed

manufacturer. Our cams are through hardened
