again .It’s.not.that.I.didn’t.want.to.get.my.degree,.but.I.just.couldn’t .I.suffer.from.severe.social.anxiety .As.long.as.I.can.remember,.I.have.been.leery.of.other.people .I.tried.to.tell.some.of.the.adults.in.my.life,.but.they.didn’t.seem.to.listen.or.believe.me .Shortly.after.I.turned.16,.it.got.worse.and.I.didn’t.want.to.even.leave.the.house .After.a.few.years,.it.got.a.little.easier.and.I.began.the.cycle.of.starting.and.quitting.-.until.now . .A-B.Tech.made.a.difference . I. enrolled. in. the.Human.Services.Technology.program.and.I.was.listened.to .My.instructors.understood.and.worked.with.me .I.am.completing.my.third.consecutive.semester.of.classes .When.I.become.a.counselor,.I.am.going.to.make.sure.every.child.is.heard.and.understood .
