It's a heartfelt name for a non-profit, almost entirely volunteer organization that has offered shelter, education and community to thousands of our neighbors in northern Baja California for more than 30 years. Thanks to Dan Watson introducing our Rotary Club to this non-profit, we will be heading to Tecate for a house build on Saturday. Thank you Dan for all your time organizing this worthwhile International Project. Also, thank you to Rich Boccia for helping with organizing travel plans for our Interact students. PROGRAM May 10th DSES - Kathy Copland Our program last week was Laurel Martin and Kathy Copeland from Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra. Laurel gave an inspiring talk and slide show on the summer activities of DSES. Most of us are familiar with the winter programs of DSES, but this day, we got a chance to see the great work that goes on in the summer from rock climbing to Kamikaze downhilling. Our hats are off to Laurel and Kathy for the great presentation and all that they do. In Spanish, heart.It's a heartfelt name for a non-profit, almost entirely volunteer organization that has offered shelter, education and community to thousands of our neighbors in northern Baja California for more than 30 years. Thanks to Dan Watson introducing our Rotary Club to this non-profit, we will be heading to Tecate for a house build on Saturday.  Thank you Dan for all your time organizing this worthwhile International Project.
