What happens inside?
Maxwell® 16 is a magnetic particle processor, not a liquid handler. •The sample is mixed by rapid up-and-down movement of the single-use plunger.•The MagneSil® Paramagnetic Particles are captured after a magnetic rod insert down the middle of the plunger.•The MagneSil Particles bind the nucleic acid•The nucleic acids are purified through a series of capture and release washes•The purified nucleic acid is released.
