Message from the Conference ChairmanI greatly appreciate the high level of interest and support we have received this year from operators, service suppliers, universities and indeed government agencies. Now in its 10th year, the conferencecontinues to go from strength to strength and is now firmly established with 490 delegates and 33exhibitors attending last year.
This year we have a comprehensive and stimulating programme spanning over two days, withcontributions from many of the largest, smallest and independent, organisations in the industry. Therewill be 44 high-quality presentations and 20 posters from a range of disciplines - all with the aim toeducate and inspire. The theme of ‘Maximising Our Diverse Resources’ is immensely important to thefuture success of the Oil and Gas industry, and I am sure the presentations and posters will show justhow healthy the industry is in that respect.
Organised jointly by the PESGB, SPE, AFES and DECC, DEVEX is a not for profit conference run by industry professionals. It offerstremendous value, a first rate technical experience and great opportunity to see the latest industry opinions.
I’d like to thank all our event sponsors and participants for their support at past DEVEX conferences and this year at DEVEX 2013. I look forward to seeing you in Aberdeen.
