Elder Bacon has resided inClaxton Ga for the last 54yeah's. She has served faith-ful in the First Christ Holi-ness church organization forapproximately 60 years untilher health began t:o failabout 9 monthsago. She hasserved in such capacities asMissionary, Secretary,Chairman of Program Com-mittees, Assistant Pastor ofSmith Chapel H.C. and forthe past 9 years she has ofHl-cially pastored Smith ChapelH.C. Pastor Bacon is a mem-ber of the Evans CountyMinisterial Board. Elder Ba-con was a beautician beforeshe retired.
She enjoyed fishing andg adhering vegetables forfriends and neighbors. Hergreatest love next to Jesuswas taking care of childl'en.She raised and cared for 25children, glands. greatglands, god children andnieces.
She is preceded in deathby her parents Charlie Leeand Susie Coppock. all of hersiblings, two sons, AlonzoCoppock and Jerome Bacon.
Survivors : daughters,M.ary Lee Byrd, Martha LeeBacon (Bishop Bennie Ba-con), Evang, Elizabeth Ba-con Robinson, ProphetessFreddie. GUYTON:- Franz W.Russell, age 71, formerly ofHilton Head and later RoseHill Plantation in Bluffton.died of heart failure Sunday,June 8th, 2008 at his llomein Guyton Georgia.
Franz was a successful Ca-nadian film and televisionactor before moving his fam-ily to New York in 1984.However, his IJS popularitywas in voice-over perform-ing where he could be heardon countless national radioand television commercialsfor MCI, AT&T, Juicy Juiceand Duracell Batteries, toname a few. He also nar-rated a host of documentaryfilms and television produc-tions.
He and his wife Robinbought a home on HiltonHead in June 1989 and thefamily moved from NewYork the following January.Franz and Robin could beheard evenings on WLOWradio for several years. Alsothey hosted the moi'nang talkand local information radioshow "Coffee Break" onWHHR radio from.Januarythrough August i994.
After i'etiring the couplemoved to Rose l-jill Planta-tion in 1997where they livedfor six years before buildingtheir home in Guyton.
