Profile
I am a highly skilled, well-travelled and self-disciplined offshore Health and Safety professional and former Royal Air Force frontline aircrew. I have a mature and responsible approach to any task that I undertake, or situation that I am presented with. With a strong focus in the fields of QHSE training and management within the oil and gas industry, I am a passionate about anything I do. I have a solid grounding in professionalism and personnel management gained with 18 years of military service.
Key Strengths

Recent key achievements
I was sent by management to a vessel which had been at sea for 3 months with no QHSE Advisor on-board. I was tasked to make the vessel fully compliant with ISO 9001 within a tight timeline. I instrumented fundamental changes to ships procedures by analysing existing HSE procedures, incidents prior to my arrival and established reporting procedures. I implemented filling systems, stop card boxes and actively encouraged ships personnel with training and checks to be fully HSE aware. The result was a HSI figure halving and a safety culture on the vessel, which was recognised throughout the company.
It was recognised by Dolphin Geophysical that newly employed QHSE Advisors, although trained, were lacking in experience. I was tasked by Dolphin Geophysical to act as a mentor for these advisors to pass on my wealth of knowledge on offshore H&S. They were sent to the vessels I was working on for me to further train them in the use of SMS and company procedures. The local result was an advisor who was confident and experienced in fields which they had not seen before. Corporation wise they became another asset in the health and safety culture for Dolphin Geophysical.
