PRIMETIMERS Primetimers will gather on Friday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel with special guest speakers, missionaries Mark and Marge Long! Come, hear and rejoice in what God is doing through their ministry to the Cabecar Indi-ans in Costa Rica. Fellowship and refreshments will begin at 10:00 a.m. Make your reservations for a delicious meal (including takeouts) for $4.50, by calling the Welcome Center at 978-6000.

KINGDOM KIDS Our children’s choir will resume meeting on Sunday, January 12. Kingdom Kids meets each week at 5:30 in the Parking Deck and Garage. Dinner is provided. All children K5 through 6th grade are welcome!

CHRISTIANITY 101 This course for new believers and anyone interested in learn-ing the basics of Christianity will be taught by Pastor Drew Ramsay and will begin on January 12. The class will meet each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in LEC Room 203. Please see the insert in today’s bulletin for more information.

LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY Betty Batts’ Bible study group will resume meeting on Tues-day, January 14, and will begin a study of the book of Proverbs. Please note that these ladies will now be meeting in the SMIC Chapel at 10:00 a.m. each Tuesday. Books for the study will be available at the first meeting. All ladies are invited!

TODAY IN THE WORD The January issue of our Moody devotional has arrived and can be picked up at the Welcome Center. We will be studying about “God’s Faithfulness” this month.

MILITARY MOMS & DADS Please notify Drew Ramsay (978-6000, ext. 216) when there is a change in your son’s or daughter’s military situation, such as reassign-ment, completed training, deployment, etc., so that the weekly Prayer Bulletin can be updated accordingly. Military personnel connected to SMIC families are prayed for each week.
