About MattMatt Hall is one of the world’s most respected pilots!

• Matt Hall is a third generation pilot, a former RAAF Fighter Combat (Top Gun) Instructor and international unlimited aerobatic competitor

• A highly self disciplined individual, Matt is respected for his ability to communicate with people at all levels and is greatly admired for his focus under pressure and leadership qualities. He is an outstanding motivator and is a popular public speaker, mentor and role model

• Matt has represented Australia for most of his life in the Royal Australian Air Force, one of the highest honours any Australian can aspire to. And he went on to represent Australia in sport, a fantastic story for a very proud Aussie

• Matt resigned from the RAAF in 2009 to allow him to become a full time Race and Display Pilot. In 2009 he became not only the first Australian to ever compete in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, but also the first rookie to finish a Red Bull Race on the podium. He also finished 3rd overall in the Championship in his rookie year

• As Australia’s most decorated pilot, Matt is in high demand, performing at Air Shows and major sporting events around Australia

• Matt is a former Royal Australian Air Force Fighter Pilot, with over 1800 Hornet hours

• He spent three years in the USA on a USAF exchange program, flying over 500 hours in the F-15E Strike Eagle, including combat. For his efforts, he was awarded combat decorations by both the US and Australia.

• He boasts over 1000 hours in light aircraft and over 600 hours doing aerobatics. Ending his military career in2009 as a Wing Commander, Matt was awarded dux of his Fighter Combat Instructor Course -Top Gun (1999),F/A-18 Hornet Operational Conversion Course (1995), Basic Fighter Pilot Course (1994) and Wings course (1992)

• Matt was awarded Fighter Pilot of the Year in 1997

• He has represented Australia as a United States Air Force (USAF) exchange officer in North Carolina, USA,instructed F15E aircrew attending USAF Weapons School and briefed Australian Embassy staff at Washingtonannually on accomplishments and recommendations for future RAAF operations

• Matt was also awarded the Air Medal and an Air Medal First Oak Leaf Cluster for “heroism under fire” during operational service in Iraq where he flew in the second Gulf War

• Matt is married to Pedita with three children, aged 13, 11 & 5
