Student Contract for Resolving Grades of “I” (Incomplete) CIVICS Dear Parents, Your child is receiving an Incomplete for the second nine weeks due to not mastering the material for this grading period. Per the school’s requirements, your child will have 15 school days to complete the work to raise their grade. If work is not turned in by the 15 day mark (28 January 2019), their grade will be an “F” for the third nine weeks. This work is to be done at home, not in class and it is to be completed in addition to the work they need to be doing for the current grading period. If your child is bringing home this packet, they have signed off stating they understand these instructions and have received the work they need to change their grade. Please sign the “Student Contract” page and send it back with them to show receipt of the “I” contract. All instructions are given in the packets they need to complete. Please make sure they read carefully. This is not quick or easy, this is to make sure they understand the concepts that have been taught that they did not complete during the grading period. If the work is done correctly, it should take about 7 hours to complete all three Operating Principles. If they work on their packet about 30 minutes every night, they can finish all the work in time for the 28 January 2018 due date. They will need computer access for some of the assignments. The library also offers computer access if you do not have a computer in your home.
