MASTERY: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP (MDL 510)
Goal: Gain a better understanding about myself and my path towards mastery. Create goals and a timeline to follow on my path. Study along with networking with industry professionals in my field.
Strategies: 1. Watch Robert Greenes Mastery
presentation on Google Talks. 2. Read Mastery by Robert Greene and study
masters throughout history. 3. Research different companies then create
goals and a timeline to work towards.
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP (MAN 630)
Goal: Learn decision making, power and influence, mentoring, leading organizational change, and investing techniques. Gain and understanding of managing business relationships to achieve certain business goals.
Strategies: 1. Watch Executive Leadership

2. Study the key fundamentals of becoming an executive leader while studying other leaders in my field.
3. Read Developing the Leader Within You by John C. Maxwell.
PRODUCT AND TEAM MANAGEMENT (MAN 603)
Goal: Learn the tools it takes to manage project and see it through from start to finish. Gain management skills for leading a team to a certain goal or objective.

Everything You Need To Know To Succeed As A Product Manager by Steven Haines.
3. Take on small independent projects to hone my skills as a product manager.
BUSINESS STORYTELLING AND BRAND DEVELOPMENT (MAR 630)
Goal: Learn to brand myself as well as artist that I work with. Get a better understanding of storytelling techniques to strengthen my business and deliver a superior customer experience.

Guide to Building, Designing, and Sustaining Brands.
3. Research other company brands who have done well in the industry.
ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS FINANCE (GEB 6508)
Goal: Gain a better knowledge of financial aspects of business. Learn how to properly use a budget and other necessary financial planning.

NEGOTIATION AND DEAL-MAKING (MAN 6446)
Goal: Learn to make deals and negotiate on a professional level. Gain a better understanding of contracts and making deals in the entertainment business.

Melanie Yun. 3. Reflect on previous deals to figure
out my weaknesses.
PRODUCT AND ARTIST MANAGEMENT (EBM 591)
Goal: Practice the tools I need to properly manage artist as well as myself. Gain a better knowledge when working with other A.R. and managers.

Goal: Learn the tools to run my own label and publishing company. Gain a better knowledge of social media distribution, digital rights management, and legislation.

Goal: Learn the tools to better market myself along with my product. Learn to market myself through online and offline channels.

Goal: During this class, I will begin planning my actual business and use it as my project. Learn the tools to properly brand myself to grow into a recognized company in the entertainment industry.
