SELECT: Stitch F 1:11, blanket or pin stitch

SEW:

• Center the 2" square on top of the 6" square of fabric with stabilizer underneath.

• Line up the right side of the small square with the red line on the foot.

• Adjust needle position if needed so the right swing of the stitch catches the raw edge of your small square.

SHOW: Embroidery Hoop Samples

FABRIC: Medium Woven fabric with stabilizer hooped in large 360x200 hoop. Thread machine with 40 wt rayon thread and insert embroidery bobbin.

SELECT: Embroidery Mode and calibrate hoop

USE: Sensor Q-foot

SELECT: Hoop 360 x 200

EDIT:

• Touch the Designs Menu and note how My Designs automatically opens.

• Touch Quick Help then touch design 5 to preview the Design File information. Close the window.

• Select design 5 and see it automatically load to Ultimate Interactive Screen.

• Touch your stylus to the screen and drag design 5 to left side to show on-screen movement.

• Select Duplicate and instantly add another copy of the selected design. Touch and Hold Duplicate and enter the number of designs you want. Put at least 3 designs on your screen.

• Demonstrate rotation using your stylus and also by touching rotation icons on the Control.

POSITIONING

PREPARE: Draw a straight line across the fabric about 1/3 of the way down in the hoop.

EMBROIDER:

• Make sure the customer’s name with flower is positioned horizontally in the hoop

• Touch GO for Embroidery Stitch Out Mode

• Touch the Design Positioning Icon

• Touch Step 1

• Touch screen to assign first crosshair position on the design’s lower left corner

• Select Step 2 icon and drag design on screen till needle is directly on the left end of the drawn line

• Select Step 3 and touch the screen to place second crosshair to lower right corner of design.

• Select Step 4 and drag design on screen until the needle is directly on the drawn line.

AUTO SMART SAVE

(Demonstrate in the middle of Design Positioning technique demo)

• In the middle of an embroidery, stop embroidering.

• Point out the Auto Smart Save icon in the SET menu.

• Turn off the machine.

• Re-start the machine and touch the Load Smart Save Position.

• Continue embroidering.

• When design is finished stitching, delete design from screen.

• No need to try and carve out large amounts of time to continuously embroider large designs. Auto Smart Save means you can do it in sections.

• No worries that an interruption in power will ruin your embroidery.

DESIGN SHAPING

• From the Embroidery Edit screen, touch the Design Menu icon and load design 98.

• Touch the Designs Menu icon again and load design 100.

• With the circle design selected, touch the Control Center Icon to center the design in the hoop.

• Select the petal design by touching it on the screen .

• Touch the Design Shaping Icon

• From the menu on the right, choose circle clockwise.

• Touch the Enter Number of Objects Icon. Enter the number 6 on the pop up screen. Close pop up screen by touching OK.

• Drag the circle on the screen until the petals are touching the circle.

• Touch OK on the lower right corner of the screen to close Design Shaping and return to the Embroidery Edit screen.

• There are many small designs built into your DESIGNER DIAMOND Royale™ sewing and embroidery machine that can be used for Design Shaping.

• With a few simple clicks you can turn those small embroideries into a new design.
