10 Steps To Become A Great Advisor1.  Discuss  your  role  with  everyone  in  the  organiza:on.  

2.  A=end  all  mee:ngs  possible.  3.  A=end  all  events  possible.  

4.  Schedule  weekly  one-­‐on-­‐one  mee:ngs  w/president  or  execu:ve  board.  5.  Get  copies  of  agendas  and  minutes  of  all  mee:ngs.  

6.  Be  involved  in  all  financial  areas,  not  just  signing  check  requests  &  reimbursements.  

7.  Be  involved  in  all  cons:tu:onal  or  charter  rewrites.  8.  Make  sure  to  be  included  in  the  elec:on  of  new  leaders.  

9.  Have  fun  with  your  commi=ee  members.  10.  Finally,  recognize  your  members  for  their  good  work
