Table 1 refers to the schedules for the processes involved in the eProject for Semester II. It is applicable to centers which operate on 2 hours per day-3 days a week

Training Methodology
The course will follow the T + L+T+ L+ T + L methodology. Wherever applicable or mentioned, the student will have to create and submit assignments and will also have to appear for Internal Tests.
Assignments [A]: Assignments for each module should be completed during the allocated time. The assignments will have to be submitted to the faculty for evaluation.
Internal Tests [Te]: The student will have to appear for Internal Tests. The objective questions for Internal Tests will be prepared by the faculty only. Internal Tests for modules mentioned in the evaluation table should be completed during the time allocated for test.

Evaluation Components
I. Assignments
Assignments will be administered by the faculty while conducting the course. The following table lists the topics involved in the course: Marks: 25 per assignment Duration: 2 hours each

3. Texturing with MAYA
4. Lighting and rendering with MAYA
5. Rigging with MAYA
6. Character animation with MAYA
7. Paint effects and dynamics with MAYA
8. Realistic features with MAYA
9. Matchmoving and camera tracking
II. Internal Tests
The faculty will administer the Internal Tests. These tests will be according to the table given below. Marks: 25 per test Duration: 2 hours each
1. Modeling with MAYA and Modeling with ZBrush
2. Texturing with MAYA and Lighting and rendering with MAYA
3. Rigging with MAYA and Character animation with MAYA
4. Paint effects and dynamics with MAYA, Realistic features with MAYA, and Matchmoving and camera tracking
III. E-Project
This e-project will be a portfolio of the students with emphasis on 3D Animation Portfolio. Faculties should ensure that the students have taken a backup on the CD. At the end of the semester, students will make a presentation of all the projects and they will be evaluated.

IV. Semester End Examination Examinations will be conducted at the end of each semester. The students will be evaluated on the examinable modules based on the evaluation strategy given in the table below. Below is the list of modules to be covered in Final Examination along with their weightages:

Overall weighted final marks Internal 25% + External 50% + Project 25%
Grade Based System The students are awarded grades based on the following criteria: Overall Weighted Marks > = 40% but, < 60% qualifies for Pass Overall Weighted Marks > = 60% but < 75 % qualifies for Credit and Overall Weighted Marks > = 75 % qualifies for Distinction. Note: To attain a Pass/Credit/Distinction grade, a student should achieve at least 40% in each of the elements of internal examination as well as final examination; otherwise he/she will be declared as, ‘Referred’.
