MASTER OF HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION (MHA)

The MHA program prepares early- to mid-level careerists to plan, direct and manage healthcare services. Future opportunities include managing an entire facility, a specifi c clinical area or department and a medical practice for a group of physicians. Healthcare managers implement changes and adapt to changes in healthcare laws, regulations and technology.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIESEmployment of healthcare managers is projected to grow 20 percent from 2016 to 2026, much faster than the average for all occupations (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics).

ACCREDITATIONThe program will submit its Eligibility Statement for Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) in Fall 2020.
