Admission Criteria To be admitted as an MBA student at Winthrop University, you must have a composite score of 950 or above and a minimum GMAT score of 400 or GRE equivalent. An applicant whose native language is not English must present a score of at least 550 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS. Applying for Admission To apply to the MBA program visit www.winthrop.edu/graduateschool and then click the Apply Now button on the right side to submit an online application. If a paper application is required, please contact the graduate school at 211 Tillman Hall, or [email protected]. Fall admission July 15 Spring admission December 1 Summer admission May 15 Applications for admission and supporting credentials for prospective international students must be received by April 15 or September 15 for registration in the fall or spring semester, respectively. Thus, international applicants living outside the United States should complete the required standardized tests at least three months prior to the deadline. Program Fees Application Fee: $50 Registration Fee: $10 (each semester) Motor Vehicle Registration Fee: $75 (yearly) Tuition per Semester Hour: South Carolina residents* $599 (2016/2017 fees – subject to change) Non-residents $1,153 (2016/2017 fees – subject to change) * In-state tuition rate is also available for residents in North Carolina counties included in the Charlotte Regional Partnership for Economic Development. Scholarships and Graduate Assistantships After being accepted for admission to the MBA program you may apply for a scholarship or graduate assistantship. A limited number of scholarships and assistantships are available, so it is important to apply early.
