A MESSAGE FROM FATHER RICH Many thanks to all those who attended and worked at the Home and School Trivia night, it was a huge success. Next week we will be celebrating the first scrutiny for those in

RCIA at the 10 AM Mass. Please pray for them as they begin their final preparation to receive the sacraments of

initiation at the Easter Vigil. Thank you to Doug Burkemper, Charlie Burkemper, Eli Burkemper and Dale Robertson for

repairing the broken water pipe last Saturday. It was a very muddy job and allowed us to turn back on the water in the

church, convent, old school and rectory. Hope you enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day.

God Bless,

~Father Rich

2nd Annual ICOM Cornhole Challenge

We are now accepting teams for the 2nd Annual ICOM Cornhole challenge, to benefit the ICOM class of 2020, for their trip to the Pro-Life March in Washington, DC.

Last year’s event was a lot of fun and very successful! However, due to size and time I am limited to 96 teams total. Because of the limited number of teams, we have decided to let our school and church families have the first opportunity of entering teams. We ask that you do not ask other teams from outside the parish to participate at this time. We also ask that nothing be put on social media. We will give the school and church families a two week time frame before opening it up to everyone. If we do not have our 96 teams by March 25th we will open to the public for teams. Here are the details: Date: May 11th starting at 6:30 at ICOM Gym Cost: $80 per two-man team (includes unlimited beer, soda, water, and limited food items. Also each player will be given a 2019 Cornhole T-shirt) **Must be 21 to play or to enter the event** Please contact Shane @ 636-439-3543 to enter your team.

DEACON NEAL’S REFLECTION CORNER This coming Tuesday, we celebrate the Solemn Feast of St. Joseph. The Church has always realized the importance of St. Joseph in the plan of salvation. Do we? St. Joseph was chosen by our Father, God, to be the protector and foster Father of his beloved son, Jesus Christ. He had to be a man of tremendous faith to be able to understand the whole situation. His wife was with child and he wasn't the father. He was told, in a dream, to take his wife and baby to another country and then return when an angel told him that it was okay to do so. How may times do you think he thought that he was not worthy of the task he was given. How many times do we think that we are not worthy to be chosen to serve God in a certain ministry? God calls us to love like he loves us. St. Joseph answered when he was called. Can we an-swer like St. Joseph? It's an honor to be called to serve. It won't be easy. It wasn't easy for St. Joseph. Be open to the call of the Holy Spirit. God bless, Deacon Neal Also, each March, we have the 5th grade begin serving. You may notice, if you come during the week, that we have four servers at Mass. The new servers "shadow" the older servers so they can learn what to do. Thanks to the older servers for teaching the 5th grade and thanks to the 5th grade for volun-teering to serve. Also, thanks to all the servers who have volunteered to serve at Mass.

It's beautiful way to experience the honor of serving others, and the privilege to be in the sanctuary at Mass.
