Stewardship Thought

The readings today speak of the end of the world and the coming of the Kingdom. The U.S. Bishops’ pastoral

letter on stewardship says clearly that “that ‘life to come’ is in continuity with this present life through the

human goods, the worthy human purposes, which people foster now.” May our good stewardship cause us

to be numbered among the chosen on the last day!

November 15, 2015: 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

When the end time comes, the wise and those who work for justice will shine forever. Dedicate your life

to furthering the reign of God. (Daniel 12:1-3)

Barnes & Noble Book Fair: Bishop Ryan Catholic School will be hosting a book fair at Barnes & No-ble at Dakota Square on Saturday, Nov. 21st, 2015. Bishop Ryan will earn 20% of your purchase. If you can’t make it to the fair, you can support us by shopping online at www.bn.com/bookfairs from Nov. 21st thru Nov. 26th. When checking out, at the bottom of the screen, check the box that it’s a bookfair and use this ID number in the box provided: 11710084 Thank you for your support. Lot-O-Dough Calendars are available for purchase for $25 each after the weekend Parish Masses, weekdays in the parish offices, and at the Bishop Ryan School offices. Cash drawings will take place January thru June. Over $15,000 will be given away, with over 300 chances to win! These make ex-cellent Christmas gifts! Cheer Coach Needed: Bishop Ryan has an opening for a Seasonal Cheer Coach. Contact Bryan Kra-mer at 852-4004 ext. 140 It’s time to think about Christmas shopping – Remember to use Scrip: Scrip is using gift cards to pay for your shopping. Everyone is encouraged to use Scrip gift cards for all your purchases of groceries, gas, household items, dining out, remodeling or building, or as gifts. The Scrip Program is such an easy way to help support the school. By using Scrip, you earn more in rebates than on credit cards and you're not at risk for credit card fraud. Scrip is available after the weekend Masses and in the parish offices during office hours at Our Lady of Grace, Little Flower, and St John’s and in the Bishop Ryan Business office. Business Managers, Employees, Parents, Grandparents! Need Christmas gift ideas? Scrip gift cards make excellent gifts. If you need large amounts of Scrip or specific cards from the National List that we don’t stock, place your order early at the Bishop Ryan Admin office. There are many businesses on the National List that can be special ordered to satisfy all your gift needs. Orders are placed Mon-day mornings and are received in 2 days. Special orders must be paid for in advance. The local & na-tional lists can be found on our website www.bishopryan.com under Scrip. Another gift idea is the Lot-O-Dough calendars sold by Bishop Ryan after the weekend Masses, in the parish offices, and in the Bishop Ryan offices.

Parish News and Events Time, Talent and Treasure Going into 2016 we are going to keep our ministry schedule the same as 2015– we are however looking for more ushers and are welcoming whomever would like to start getting involved with church ministry. If you are interested in becoming an usher, reader, or Eucharistic minister or if you want to be removed from the schedule please fill out the forms in the pews. If you would like to re-main in your same scheduled slot from 2015 please DO NOT fill out the stewardship cards as the 2015 schedule worked so smoothly. On the Weekend of Dec 19th we will put out the 2016 ministry schedule, it will be available in the back of the church, online, and on the bulletin boards. We appreciate all the help our parishioners have given us, and continue to give us every day. Thank you
