Masjid Sultan Haji Ahmad ShahIIUM Kuantan Campus wasofficiated on 3rd May 2012 by theformer sultan of Pahang, SultanHaji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’inBillah ibni Almarhum Sultan AbuBakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzamShah. Several years afteroperation, Masjid SHAS hasdeveloped an outstandingreputation and brought anastonishing achievementstowards the society.

Masjid SHAS aims to become thecentre of excellence for tarbiyyahruhiyyah for IIUM. Aspiring tochampion religious programmes,imarah masjid activities,community service and reference,Masjid SHAS ventures intosocietal engagement alongsidemaintaining the tradition ofimarah and religious activities.

Consequently, many programmeshave been organized every yearto enliven this religious institutionwhich have resulted in asubstantial amount of spending.Ever since the inauguration, theoperation has been fully fuelledby donation collection and thirdparties sponsorship. Overall,masjid SHAS is totally dependentto outsource income.

Beside financial support, MasjidSHAS has been sustained by anumber of staff and a flock ofvolunteers among gentlemen,ladies and students. Thesediligent people dedicatethemselves to translate thevision and mission of MasjidSHAS into reality. They invest amassive energy and time inensuring the smooth running ofall masjid activities.

In conclusion, Masjid SHAS needsa multifaceted support in its wayto empower and maximize itsfunctions. Masjid SHAS is alwayscommitted to rejuvenate its rolesin order to stay relevant for thesociety. May all our good deedsdeserve blessings from AllahSWT.
