PLTW High School Program (Biomedical Sciences)

• Principles of Biomedical Sciences introduces students to the study of human medicine, research processes and bioinformatics

• Human Body Systems explores basic human physiology. Students design experiments, investigate the structures and functions of body systems and use data acquisition software to monitor body functions.

• Students use projects to investigate various Medical Interventions that extend and improve quality of life.

• Biomedical Innovations has students designing and conduction experiments related to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease or illness. 5
