Music that Makes Community Workshop

September 29 through

October 1 Des Moines, Iowa

"Paperless" music - music taught to the group on the spot - can be wonderful in weekday worship, in outdoor or informal worship, and in work with kids or intergenerational groups. The event will include wor-ship, workshops, and conversation to help you add the valuable tool of paperless song leading to your community's singing practice. Learn practical skills and diverse repertoire, and explore how paperless music can enrich and expand your congregation's repertoire of sung prayer and praise. These work-shops often happen in California and New England, but this one is within driving distance and registra-tion is just $100! Talk with Rev. Miranda Hassett if you'd like to hear more about paperless music and how it's used at St. Dunstan's, Madison. Explore the Music that Makes Community website to learn more.
