Section 3

Maharishi Vedic Military Science can be practically applied to solve the problem of modern mil-

itary science’s inability to protect the people of the nation it is pledged to protect.

The four main problems with modern military science are:

• Lack of ability to destroy the “enemy”

• Fear generated within one's own nation

• Frustration created within the “enemy”

• Lack of the ability to defend the nation

In the first section we outlined why the modern military due to the principle of deterrence had

these problems.

In this section, section three I will spell out how through the implementation of Maharishi Vedic

Military Science these problems will be solved and how the military will be able to reclaim its

position of being the most glorious of professions.

1. Modern Science showing the

Validity of Maharishi Vedic Military

Science

Since Maharishi predicated the Maharishi effect in

1961 modern science has been able to show in over 42

conclusive scientific sociological studies that it is a

real phenomenon.

The Maharishi effect as created by the strategy of

defense Yoga Shanti applies directly to all four prob-

lems the modern military face today.

As was said in section 2, the Maharishi Effect spreads

coherence, enlivening the Veda within the individuals

throughout society, but it also spills over into other

countries as well.

In 1978 1400 experts in the TM

and TM-Sidhi program dispersed

practitioners of the TM- and TM-

the population.

The process of making the enemy

your friend does not even require the

Military to send forces to that coun-

try. In 1983 a group of Yogic Flyers

traveled to Israel where they stopped

the war in Lebanon.

The second problem of fear generated

within the home nation is also the

province of Yoga Shanti.

The study that clearly shows quality of life

improving within the nation was a study

compiled in 1988, which shows how the

Maharishi effect created a change in the

quality of life in a positive direction in

1978.

The problem of frustration created in the enemy is solved when the enemy no longer is an enemy

but is your friend. Solving this problem is the province of Yoga Shanti once again. Not only do

we make him our friend through the application of the technologies of Yoga Shanti, the TM and

TM-Sidhi Program, but we also nourish him.

One study conducted in 1983 shows

how all nations of the world gained

through increased stock market

indices over a three-week period

when 7,000 practitioners of the TM

and TM-Sidhi program came togeth-

er. 7,000 at the time was the square

root of one percent of the whole

world population so every body

enjoyed the fruits of this implementa-

tion of Yoga Shanti.

The fourth major flaw in modern mil-

itary science is lack of ability to

defend the nation. I am going to say

that a country that is properly protect-

ed should have the reality of all good

everywhere and no good nowhere.

The defense of the nation is the

province of all three areas of strategy

contained within the structure of

Maharishi Vedic Military Science.

Yoga Shanti displays the power of

creating invincibility to the nation on the level of collective consciousness as displayed by the

Meissner Effect.

Graha Shanti protects the nation from the effects of the different cosmic influences, the Grahas,

Rashis, and Nakshatras.

Every Planet in the solar system corresponds to a specific structure within the human brain, phys-

iology. The planets are the cosmic counterparts of the brain physiology. Positive and negative

results of ones own thoughts and actions are reflected back to one through the planets.

Graha Shanti Protects the nation form any negative influence that might come from the Cosmic

Counterparts and enhances the positive influences for all good in the nation.

Vishva Shanti would fulfill the role that the modern military plays with its strategies of defense

concerned with Dhanur Veda and Sthapatya Veda the most modern and powerful technology

available to man.

So all three areas of life need to be defended so protect the nation properly so that there is all good

everywhere and no good nowhere.

Conclusion

Maharishi Vedic Military Science has the ability to protect the life of the nation, the life of cre-

ation so that it is in tune with the invincible force of evolution. No military today can make this

claim.

We have seen that modern military science cannot protect the nation, due to the nature of the

enemy, and the state of current technology in use by the militaries of the world. We have seen that

Maharishi Vedic Military Science has shown though scientific research to be the only technolo-

gy in the world able to create peace and prosperity in the. Furthermore Maharishi Vedic Military

Science has the ability to protect the nation, the world to such an extent that human life can once

again step in tune with cosmic life.

At the beginning of the paper I said that being in the military is the most divine profession avail-

able to man, that it is sacrifice of ones own desire for the desire of the universe. Maharishi Vedic

Military Science puts the life of every individual in the military on this sphere of reality where

the actions of the military are Cosmic Actions, in accord with all the laws of nature.
