WMA Overview Location & Size: Harlan County. WMA is 764 acres, Martins Fork Lake is 325 acres. Contact: (606) 269-8164 Elevation: minimum 1270 feet, maximum 1851 feet. Entrance GPS coordinates: Latitude N 36.73631, Longitude W -83.25882 Area Habitat: mostly forest: open land 12%, forest 85%, wetland 0%, open water 4%.

Directions & Description: The WMA consists of shoreline surrounding Martins Fork Lake. From Harlan take US 421 to HWY 987, approximately 4 miles to the lake. Mountainous terrain, forested primarily in second growth hardwoods. No roads within area. Fishing, boating in 340-acre Martins Fork Lake. Owned by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
