DEPARTURE POINTOur boats depart from Martin’s Haven (SA62 3BJ), near Marloes.Follow the B4327 from Haverfordwest and follow the signs forthe Skomer embarkation point. Parking is available in theNational Trust car park at Martin’s Haven (charges apply).

There are also resident Buzzards,Peregrine Falcons, Little andShort-eared Owls.
On the island keep an eye out for the uniqueSkomer Vole, thousands of rabbits,and the annual flower bloomsof Bluebells and Campion,a beautiful sightnot to be missed!

• Roads to our departure point arenarrow – please allow plenty ofdriving time.
• Skomer visitor numbers are strictlylimited to protect the wildlife, allSkomer landings are ‘first come firstserved’ and can be very busy duringpeak periods, including May and June.
Please arrive early to ensure a placeespecially during May and June.
• Additional trips may be scheduledduring busy periods.
• Snacks are available at Lockley Lodgeat Martin’s Haven and in MarloesVillage. There is no food or drinkavailable on the islands so pleasebring refreshments with you.
• Wear suitable outdoor clothing andwalking shoes/boots as paths areuneven. Bring waterproofs/sunscreenfor protection.
• Please note that landing steps andpaths are very steep in places – if youhave limited mobility please seewww.welshwildlife.org for additionalaccess information.
• Whilst on the island it is extremelyimportant to stick to the paths toprevent collapsing the burrows that theShearwaters, Puffins and Rabbits live in.
• Dogs are not permitted on the islandsbut are welcome on the Skomer Cruises.
• The sea birds depend upon the islandsremaining rodent free – please takecare with your luggage, ensure thatbags are sealed and follow ourquarantine rules.
