    El proyecto tiene como finalidad recrear un campo de golf en la playa de Benicassim. El espacio de playa se transforma en su antittico alterando la superficie del suelo.La playa se convierte Bnkers1 y los Greens2 aparecen como osis donde la gente puede descansar y relacionarse. Las superficies verdes estan sealizadas a travs de banderines para facilitar el encuentro.

    La colonizacin de la arena sobre el verde habla del proceso de desertizacin que sufre el planeta con el calentamiento global. Aparecen osis como refugios puntuales de fertilidad donde se puede permanecer hasta su desaparicin.

    1 of the nature of antithesis.2 directly contrasted.

    The project seeks a golf field recreation in Benicassim main beach. Beach space is transformed into its anti-thetic by modificating the sand surface. The beach itself is turned into a Bunker1 and Greens2 appear as an oa-sis where people could rest and interact. Marked with a pennant, the green surfaces are easyly spotted.

    Sand colonization over the green areas is a metaphor for the desetification process because of global warming. Spontaneous oasis appear as eventual fertile refuges where to stay until its dissapearance.

    From the defined urban bases defined in a for-mer excercise Masterplan, where relocating faculty ad-ministration placed in an old and precarius building was the main objective. Deeply convinced in the necesity of building conservation, the project envolves the old struc-ture, transforms it and creates a new skin.

    It was decided to add a new element, structu-rally independent of the existing building, that embraces and relates to it, always from a safety distance, becasuse of the earthquakes. Share, however, functional relations-hips along the height development of both buildings.

    A Children Art's Center in a secondary street near the Museum loading area is requested. Old and new buildings are key in the project. The oldest building was designed by Sabatini in XVIII century. The expansion was designed by Jean Nouvel in 2001. Loading and parking area must be conserved.

    Five pieces containing diverse artistic program-mes are placed on the site, almost randomly, guided by none of the buildings main directions. The old building leads the height. In this way the three projects can be read as independant objects, manteining the scence from the old and the expansion.

    Once the maps are ready, the data is used to make new unexpected objects which have a di-rect relation to the studied place. Codifying the data in this way, we create a very powerful pro-cess to develope new forms, not only trusting on inspiration and muses as the only innovative resourse.

    For building a 2x4.5 m Skin, 55 laser cutted plywood of 300x300x1 mm are needed. They should be cut-ted according to the pattern result of the research. Keep the pieces under quite hot water, 60-70 C, for an hour. Then we start putting all the pieces together overlaping them and bending them at the same time. Steel cable, aluminium clips and washers are used in order to keep the curve. Openings are controlled by a metallic screw.

    The site is located in a block's core of a new development aera, in Madrid. Densification in this void is the key, creating a buildig able to condense the neigh-bouhood's needs, increasing both services and housing density. The building must fit in with the existing buildings, constructed over 10 years ago. The center of the empty square is occupied by an hybrid building, holding a complex programme as a students accommodation, library, offices, gym, caf, conference hall and paking.

    THE CATCHER IN THE RYE

    Our challenge is to integrate this forgotten world with the one above; the one we all appreciate and take care of. We think the best way to achieve this goal is by introducing natural LIGHT. Our proposal aims, from an optimistic point of view, to break this physical disconnection law establi-shing a DUAL relationship between the city surface and the underground.

    We have chosen Plaza del Callao in Madrid as a proto-typical example of a dynamic vibrant public space whe-re several flows of people coexist, due to cultural and commercial attractions in the surface, and the important subway Metro station underground. Standing back from the traditional language of the historical downtown, we propose an artificial "planta-tion" of Optical Fiber filaments, which communicate with the subway station situated under the Plaza. This way, light travels trough Optical Fiber and it is transmitted to the interior during the day, and in the opposite direction during the night, willing to express the city is a living entity. The interaction of the existing flows in surface with the ones underground modifies and animates this new dual public space, creating life and changing the landscape.

    El Patio deSe escoge como zona de actuacin el patio de la ETSAM, Tras la reforma del ao 2007 del espacio disponible, el sentarse en el suelo se acab. El 80% del patio es ahora inpracti-cable para eso que nos gusta tanto, sentarnos en el suelo. El pavimento asiento se sita inteligentemente en dos franjas laterales que di cultan cualquier tipo de disposicin es-pontnea de relacin. Se propone un elemen-to articulado generador de situaciones y espa-cios de relacin permeables y espontneos.

    Aqul patio me recordaban al sueo que tuve la semana pasada. Todo es-taba baado por una especie de polvillo que no permita vislumbrar bien el horizonte, la luz del sol me cegaba. La gente se dispona por los laterales de aquel espacio disponible, unos preferan el sol, los otros la sombra del lado opuesto, se sentaban en el suelo, comiendo, bebiendo, fumando, charlando... ninguno se salvaba, todos llevaban aquella marca inconfundible que los uni-

    caba y los identi caba, todos llevaban el culo blanco, blanco polvillo.

    Utilizando nicamente las piezas de desecho ms usuales de la marca Cosen-tino se eligen 24 colores de forma alea-toria del catlogo de colores, que van a servir para generar las piezas de l ele-mento propuesto. stas, se maclan mediante un sistemna de machiembrado en seco sencillo que rigidiza el conjunto. Los giros que per-miten la articulacin del elemento lineal ayudan a esa rigidizacin.

El 80% del patio es ahora inpracti-cable para eso que nos gusta tanto, sentarnos en el suelo. El pavimento asiento se sita inteligentemente en dos franjas laterales que di cultan cualquier tipo de disposicin es-pontnea de relacin. Se propone un elemen-to articulado generador de situaciones y espa-cios de relacin permeables y espontneos.

    Aqul patio me recordaban al sueo que tuve la semana pasada. Todo es-taba baado por una especie de polvillo que no permita vislumbrar bien el horizonte, la luz del sol me cegaba. La gente se dispona por los laterales de aquel espacio disponible, unos preferan el sol, los otros la sombra del lado opuesto, se sentaban en el suelo, comiendo, bebiendo, fumando, charlando... ninguno se salvaba, todos llevaban aquella marca inconfundible que los uni-

    caba y los identi caba, todos llevaban el culo blanco, blanco polvillo.

    Utilizando nicamente las piezas de desecho ms usuales de la marca Cosen-tino se eligen 24 colores de forma alea-toria del catlogo de colores, que van a servir para generar las piezas de l ele-mento propuesto. stas, se maclan mediante un sistemna de machiembrado en seco sencillo que rigidiza el conjunto. Los giros que per-miten la articulacin del elemento lineal ayudan a esa rigidizacin.
