Class of 2016 Commencement Set for June 9

June 3, 2016 — Mars Area High School will hold its Class of 2016 Commencement Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, in the auditorium.

Class of 2016 officers are Jimmy Pierre, president; Kelly O’Connell, vice president; Elizabeth Smialek, secretary; and Margaret Manjerovic, treasurer. Student speakers will be Andrew Diefenbacher and Gabrielle Giglietti.

Note: Mars Area High School does not announce its valedictorian and salutatorian until after the last day of school when all final grades have been tabulated. Therefore, those students who are invited to speak at graduation may not be the valedictorian and salutatorian.

PARKING / SHUTTLE BUSES — As parking at Mars Area High School may be limited, additional parking will be available at Mars Area Middle School and Mars Area Primary Center, where shuttle buses to and from the high school will run from 5 to 8 p.m.
