Chemical and Physical Changes
Chemical Change is when substances are produced with new chemical properties. When Chemical bonds of a substance are broken and released a new chemical is formed.
Physical Change is when substances change phase or form.
Chemical Change
• Baking soda and vinegar are examples of chemical change. Mixing baking soda and vinegar together causes a chemical reaction.
Physical Change
• Tearing a piece of paper is an example of Physical Change because the tearing of the paper only changes the shape and size of it.
