POST MISSION REPORT

MARKKETING CAMPAIGNSAMPLING OF BOOKS

Introduction

FIRED CARTRIDGES. Thats a young and upcoming marketing company is

making an endeavor to specialize in our own discipline, through, the

provision of services and assistance to manufacturers, producers and

stockists etc., and help them market their products/produce, through

local, national, international and global markets, depending on the clients

needs, wants and other specialized requirements. We, preferably do this

in connivance with the clients, and get the things moving. It is done

through an agreed upon formula that is acceptable mutually to both the

parties, i.e. our honourable clients and us, the service providers.

Project Scope

Promo Book Project a ten day affair was conducted for marketing

purposes through delivery of sample books in various institutions in six

districts of the Punjab after interacting with the concerned

Principals/Professors and/or Head Teachers etc. This exercise was

conducted from August 21, to August 30, 2008, for Messrs. Chaudhry

Ghulam Rasool & Sons. It is a reputable company in operation since 1932

and their specialized classification is, Educational publications.

Project Overview

We liaised with the owner of the firm, Chaudhry Ghulam Yazdani Sahib and were

candidly briefed by him and his staff about the project at hand. Equipped with data

we converted that data into information for the easy and proficient use in a manner

to facilitate our plan of action to carry out the marketing of books for Messrs.

Chaudhry Ghulam Rasool & Sons. We resorted to the sampling technique after

interaction with the educators and providing them with complimentary sample

books asking them to review those books and recommend them over to their

students and prescribing them in their classes/Institutions. We traversed in our own

transport and covered six Districts of the Province of the Punjab in 10-days.We

logged 1321 kilometers and provided ----books in ----institutions. The following briefmay be of interest for you, please:

Operational Strategy

Strategy adopted was that the data available along with other material

requirements were studied in detail and converted it into information. The amounts

of material in the shape of books to be carried and probable spots where books may

have to be supplied on call by the publishers/printers were thoroughly discussed

and decided. Still room for impromptu demands was kept in mind to cater for that

type of an eventuality. Route planning was worked out and sampling techniques

and modus operandi was decided before moving out physically.

Conclusion

This being our maiden project at this moment in time equaled to our

flagship project so far at this point in time. We are grateful to Messrs.

Chaudhry Ghulam Rasool & Sons a reputable company in operation since

1932, for affording us this maiden opportunity. We take this as the

stepping stone to our success and wait eagerly for a positive outcome

with our fingers crossed. We hope and pray, based on our performance we
