The target audience are mostly teenagers, especially
girls. This is because it’s series of films is based on
love, stereotypical love. The teenagers can relate to
the events because most of them will or are
experiencing their first love. This film is also for people
that like mystical romance, power, creatures and
want to escape from reality.
Books/Films
The Books started off the whole sensation. Also, the fact that there were books has made the saga already popular because they already had fans which read the books. The films built onto its popularity and made it become a worldwide sensation.
Merchandise
• Clothes, bags and other things are sold marketing twilight towards teenagers as we have realised the shop “Claire’s” sell Twilight based products which is a shop mostly based for teenage girls.
Games
There are many games being sold that are based on Twilight. There are Iphone Apps, board games and many other for game consoles. These are made for those who already watched the film, so it advertises these game console users to watch the film.
Posters/Interviews
Twilight was advertised by posters and by interviews in many popular magazines, mostly in teenager magazines.
Radio Broadcast

Also, interviews on TV on channels like MTV or VIVA that most teenagers like watching.
