The Atlanta industrial market ended the second quarter 2018 with a vacancy rate of 6.8%. This vacancy rate represented a 0.2 percentage point decrease over the previous quarter, when the rate was 7.0%. This decrease in vacancy rate occurred in a quarter where Atlanta saw 3,644,733 square feet in positive net absorption and 2,457,951 square feet in deliveries. At the end of second quarter 2018, there was 18,617,857 square feet under construction in the Atlanta industrial market.
