JUST BELIEVE !

SEEK HIS PRESENCE

“… Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet and pleaded earnestly with him.” (22, 23)

• Things would be very different if people sought the presence of Christ and fell before him in humility and desperation.• “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you…” (James 4:8)• “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God…” (Psalm 42: 2a)

EXPERIENCE HIS SYMPATHY

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses…

let us then approach the throne of grace… and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

(Heb.4)

• Divine sympathy is not limited to just feeling bad for someone.• There were crowds of people around Jesus but his sympathy made him aware of the women. He knows where you are also!

LIVE IN HIS HOPE

“Your daughter is dead,” ‘they said’, “Why bother the teacher any more?” (36)

• World’s language: “this is hopeless”, “it’s all over, “we’re toast”, “no good can come out of Nazareth.” • Believer's are to live (hope) in the Lord, in all circumstances. Who knows what he will do?• What is dark and bleak could be turned into a bright Mountain Peak. (Psalm 30:5)
