• The Maritime Liaison Office (MARLO) serves as the liaison between the Combined Maritime Forces and the commercial

maritime community in the Middle East and East Africa region

• Prior to Transit– Register at EU’s MSCHOA website: http://www.mschoa.org– Contact UKMTO or MARLO for additional guidance

• For Transit of High Risk Areas– If your vessel speed is 10-18 knots, use the Gulf of Aden Group Transits– For vessels faster than 18 knots, transit between 47ºE and 49 ºE during the

hours of darkness– For vessels slower than 10 knots, contact UKMTO for routing guidance– Send position reports to UKMTO at [email protected] daily at noon
