Up to four players can battle it outif they each have a Nintendo 3DSsystem and Mario Party: Star Rush.

● One Nintendo 3DS system perplayer

● One full version of Mario Party:Star Rush and an additional one(or Mario Party: Star Rush - PartyGuest edition) for each additionalplayer

One player with Mario Party: StarRush (the host) will create a lobby.Once all players have joined thislobby, the battle will begin.◆ Players using Mario Party: Star

Rush - Party Guest cannot createtheir own lobbies.

Mario Party: Star Rush - PartyGuest is available to download forfree from Nintendo eShop. Usingthis version of the software, youcan take part in multiplayer fun evenif you don't have the full version ofMario Party: Star Rush (p. 2).

In Mario Party: Star Rush - PartyGuest, data such as Party Level, aswell as unlocked characters andminigames, will be saved. This datacan be transferred to Mario Party:Star Rush if that software islaunched on the same system.

● One Nintendo 3DS system perplayer

◆ Download Play cannot beselected in Mario Party: StarRush - Party Guest.

The host will create a lobby. Onceall players have joined this lobby,the game will begin.

◆ Download Play can be used toplay on systems without thesoftware, but not all maps,characters, and other gamefeatures will be available this way(p. 5).

Mario Party: Star Rush is a new typeof board game that allows forsimultaneous play and freemovement. It features minigamesthat up to four players can playtogether.

All modes are available in singleplayer.

Party Level and other data will besaved automatically at the followingpoints:

Once you have progressed a certainamount in Coinathlon's Rival Racemode and on the Challenge Tower,you can pre and selectSave and quit to save yourprogress.You can continue where you left offby selecting the mode with yourmidgame save.You can only have one midgamesave at a time.

◆ To disable the service, select Deactivate.

In the Options menu, select SpotPass, and then Activate.

While the system is in Sleep Mode,and even while the software is notrunning, the SpotPass™ feature willperiodically connect to the Internet(if available).
