Coastal Science CamPSPlan the ultimate field trip. Teachers choose from exciting STEM-rich topics. MEC educators use experiential learning methods in dynamic habitats, featuring marine plants and animals, and current university research to awaken interest in STEM education and careers. Visit barrier islands, observe dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico, and join marine biologists aboard university research vessels to capture, measure, tag and release sharks. Kayak on Davis Bayou or board the Miss Peetsy B to trawl for marine organisms. Learn on the beach, on a boat and in the lab.
