MARINE ECOSISTEM AND SKY.

The objectives of this activity imply that the playful and leisure aspects must be present in

addition to the environmental references.• Approach to the environment in our islands

(relation between coast and sea).• Marine biodiversity (general concepts). The

sea of the Canary Islands.• Cetaceans in the Canary Islands (species,

importance and preservation).History of navigation in the islands

(commercial routes, pirates, Columbus route).

As this activity is developed in the afternoon evening, the following would be found out:

- Importance of navigation (history).- Elements of nautical navigation (compass, GPS,

sextants).Basic knowledge of stars (position, season, etc.)Organize some participative games related to the

identification of stars, planets or constellations.Taking into account that this is a new and potentially

attractive activity we would like to point our interest in developing formulas, which allow these and other objectives that may be consolidated with the development of this programme.

The journey takes about 4 hours. The time of the departure will be fixed at the moment. Dinner and transport is included and the number of people must oscillate between 50 and 100 (any change must be communicated).
