the spectrum of conflict.– Reset and modernize to "be most ready when the Nation is least ready.“– Improve the quality of life for our Marines and our families.– Rededicate ourselves to our Core Values and warrior ethos.– Posture the Marine Corps for the future.
COMMARCORBASESPAC Goals: when attained, represent a condition that supports the attainment of the vision:
– Provide for unencumbered training, living, and support area requirements.– Provide the facilities and services of choice.– Provide for intermodal transportation requirements.– Be the employer of choice.– Provide for surge capacity requirements.– Sustain and restore the environment.– Provide capacity for current and future training requirements.– Provide all hazards protection for the force and families.

“Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare (EMW) is the capstone Concept that guides how the Marine Corps will organize, deploy, employ, and sustain its forces today and in the future. Capitalizing on the Marine Corps’ philosophy of maneuverwarfare and its expeditionary heritage, EMW emphasizes strategically agile and tacticallyflexible Marine Air-Ground TaskForces (MAGTF) with theoperational reach to projectpower directly against critical points in the littorals and beyond...”
“Distributed Operations constitutes a form of maneuver warfare. Small, highly capable units spread across a large area of operations to disrupt the enemy’s access to key terrain and avenues of approach.
