November Event Recap
Day 01: Mike Posey’s Campaign Marina KIWIN’S was able to help out Mike Posey, one of the HB
Kiwanians with his campaign elections. They answered phone
calls and passed out flyers to help promote Mike Posey.
Days 03-07: KIWIN’S Week
Day 08: Race 4 Charity: Mario Kart 8 Competition
Day 15: Sam’s Club Bake Sale
A week dedicated to KIWIN’S. Many activities were held every
day of KIWIN’S Week like face paint, coin wars, social, and more.
All members did an outstanding job in participation.
Uniting with Nerd Club, Marina KIWIN’S and Nerd Club were
able to host a team competition in Mario Kart 8 Wii U game.
They sold yummy snacks and had a Mario Kart photo booth.
Bake Sale for PTP. This month’s bake sale was held at Sam’s Club on
Beach Blvd. and Brookhurst St. Members came and support Marina
KIWIN’S cause. With everyone’s help, they earned over $100 for PTP.
Day 21: November DCM/ Jet Spirit Night After getting recaps of all the clubs
within Jet Division during the DCM,
Jet prepared their fighting spirit for
one of the most exciting events in
the history of KIWIN’S: Fall Rally!
Day 22: Fall Rally South
Fun, cheers, activities, and
excitement! Although Jet did not
win the spirit stick this year, there’s
always a chance to win at DCON.

This new manatee just arrived at
Marina High School this year. Despite diving
into a new school, a new environment, and
new friends, Andrew has adjusted
swimmingly in his first year. He is a dedicated
member of KIWIN’S, which his previous
school did not have, and he loves to help
others while keeping the mood light and
fun. He shows his commitment by working as
hard as he can and socializing with the
people around him. He does not stop till all
the jobs have completely finished. At Fall
Rally, he cheered loud and proud in support
of PTP and Jet Division. Marina KIWIN’S is
honored to have Andrew as the November
Manatee of the Month and we are excited
to see him continue to grow as a leader in
the future!
