A pearl of great price is she. All who are with her have confidence in her and benefit from her experience. She works diligently, taking pride in her inner resources and strength. She opens her heart to the needy, she is generous with the poor, yet she does not neglect her family’s needs, nor her own priorities. She is known for her dignity and strength and she laughs at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and she teaches in a kindly way. Those who are close to her, praise her. May all value who she is and may all applaud her integrity. The Word of the Lord. A. – Thanks be to God.

PRAYERS OF THE FAITHFUL Zacharie C. – As Marie, mother, grandmother and great grandmother,

enters eternal life to be reunited with her parents Thomas and Kathleen, her brother Maurice and her many friends that have gone before her, may she rest knowing her life had meaning to all who knew her.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer. R. – We pray for John her husband as he welcomes Marie

home. Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer. R. – We pray for the doctors and nurses of Cabrini Three West

for all their attentive care and compassion in allowing her children to be in attendance around the clock.

Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer. R. – We pray for John, Paul, Surinder and Mani, the taxi drivers

who were there always available and so kind. Lord hear us. A. – Lord, hear our prayer.

R. – We give thanks for our grandmother’s spiritual oasis – ‘Mass for you at Home’ and pray it will continue to offer comfort and solace to the housebound.
