Everyone has their favorite recipes growing up – mine were “grandma’s chocolate chip cookies” Here’s how it’s done: - 2 1/4 cups flour - 1 teaspoon baking soda - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened - 3/4 cup sugar - 3/4 cup brown sugar - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 2 eggs - Nestle Tollhouse semi – sweet morsels

BESIDES JUST THE RECIPE, YOU BESIDES JUST THE RECIPE, YOU ALSO NEED THE DIRECTIONS….ALSO NEED THE DIRECTIONS….

Step One: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F Step Two: Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl Step Three: Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Step Four: Add eggs one at a time Step Five: Gradually beat in flour mixture. Step Six: Stir in Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels. Step Seven: Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Step Eight: Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Step Nine: Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.

So, there you have it! A delicious, easy to make recipe that brings families together. I love baking – I think I owe that hobby to my grandma!!!

Now, I love baking even more than I used to, because I get to bake with my little sister, which is so much fun!!!
