1. Mariam my Virtual Child Mariam was born on Tuesday February 4th2014 at 10:02:01 pm. She weighed 5lbs and started smiling and showing interest in her surrounding at 3 months which was typical for her age. Even though she was born premature her physical, social and intellectual development was that of a full term baby.

2. Mariam at 8 to12 months Mariam enjoyed looking for hidden objects at home at 8 months. At 12 months her social and emotional skills developed as she started to imitate people around her. 3. Mariams development from 15 to 18months At 15 months Mariam is a scientist. Jean Piaget (1896-1980) argued that children act like scientists in creating theories about the physical and social world they are trying to understand. Kail & Zolner pg 9. Mariam is a chatter box at 18months old. 4. Mariams development at 2 to 3 years old At 2 years old, Mariam enjoys going to the zoo and petting farm but riding her tricycle is her favourite hobby. Most 3 years old, loves reading stories and noticing people. Mariam is one of those. She is quiet active and playful. 5. At age 4 to 5 years old Mariam at age 4 and 5 loves dramatic play and traditional games like treasure hunt with children her age. She loves learning new board games. 6. From ages 6 to 12 At 6 years, Mariam is enrolled in piano classes because she has a longer attention span. At 8 years, loves outdoor activities like snowboarding since she has a good sense of balance. All of which are typical for her age. At 10 years Mariam spends most of her time reading fiction book. At 12, she is involved in sports. These are all developmental milestone for her age. 7. From 13 to 16 years Starts worrying about loosing friends as she enters high school. Has her first crush. Not interested in sports anymore Became a straight A student in High School Mariam is way above average if compared to the developmental milestone as her physical, social and intellectual development is blossoming. She is becoming more independent daily.
