Brochure

Programs Used: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

Description: This is a brochure created for animaginary event with a logo for a business wecreated.

Objectives: The objectives were to create andoringinal, new logo and use it in a brochure. Itwas required to incorporate high quality imagesand make one include wrap text. The brochurewas also to include at least 250 words of copy.

Process: To begin with, I created an original logoin Illustrator. I then created a unique layout forthe brochure in InDesign. I used Photoshop tomanipulate some of the images and also make awrap text feature.

Objectives: We were to learn how to bettershow our skills in Illustrator to create a logoand effectively make it have a professionalpresentation with a letterhead design.

Business Card




Programs Used: InDesign, Illustrator

Description: We were to create a businesscard to go along with our letterhead that woulddisplay professionalism and get our companyremembered.

Objectives: I had to leard how to properly design abusiness card in accordance to the coreect sizing.I also was able to reseach and experiment withdifferent ways of designing a business card.

Process: We first had to create a logo in Illustrator,then open it in InDesign to create a business card.

PhotoDesign




Programs Used: PhotoshopDescription: This project was designed to helpus learn how to use Photoshop and create adesign through it as well.

Objectives: This project helped us becomemore familiar with Photoshop and everythingyou can do within it. Creating a flyer helpeddisplay that learning.

Process: I began this process with the ideathat I wanted to make something that wasdifferent and interesting. My design is differentbecause I wanted it to be centered and thecolor scheme is not bold. I added a layerin Photoshop of white and played with thetransparency to create a faded look. I alsobumped up the blacks and contrast a bit anddecreased the highlights to give a more wornlook and have the text stand out more.

Programs Used: Microsoft Word

Description: This project was designed to helpus work with Word in ways that we haven’tpreviously. The flyer is not for an actual event,helce the incorrect dates, but is a sufficientpractice flyer.

Objectives: The objectives were to learnhow to manipulate Word in new ways and tolearn how to use the existing features moreeffectively.

Process: The flyer was designed on Microsoft

Word and involved learning how to san imagesinto Word.

Montage




Programs Used: Photoshop

Description: This project was designed to help

us work with Photoshop a bit more and learnhow to blend more than one image together.

Objectives: The objectives were to learn howto combine more than one image to createa different effect. We were to also use themasking technique to make the images blendbetter and edit the original photos as wewished.

Process: I began by editing the background

image as I wanted, I then created new layersand blended the apple into the image. I thenoverlayed text to send a message about theoverall image and design.

Programs Used: Illustrator

Description: This project was designed tohelp us work with Illustrator and learn moreabout the porgram.

Objectives: The objectives were to learnhow tocreate a logo We had to makethree different logos and then have themcritiqued.

Process: The hardest part was coming up

with a design. I wanted to make somethingfor possibly a future company, and I endedup liking the middle design the best.

Description: This project was assigned to help

us become familiar with InDesign when wefirst started working with it.

Objectives: The objectives were to learn howto use the software and tools that InDesignprovides. We were given the logo, pictures,and text, and it was our job to create theoverall flyer design.

Process: I began by uploading the picture andlogo to help create alignment. I then added

text and a bit more black elements to createmore interenst and flow.

Objectives: The objectives were to learnhow to combine both html and css formatto create a website that coincided witha logo we had either previously made orwanted to make.

Process:This project was a bit challenging,but I started with the “cake” logo I hadalready made and resized it in and did thetext and coding in html and design in css.
