On April 25, 1958, on behalf of the New York State EducationDepartment, the Board of Regents granted a charter to foundMaria College. This year is a celebratory milestone as we lookback on how Maria has evolved over 60-years--providingopportunity education in high demand careers to all who canbenefit.
This Wednesday, April 25, the Maria Service & HospitalityCommittee will be serving cake, fruit and tea for all members ofthe Maria community in Marian Hall, Fitzgerald Court from 1pm-3pm. Also join us in celebrating by sharing your photos andmemories.

Last week, Associate Professorand Associate Degree NursingProgram Director, VictoriaCallagan,RN successfullydefended her dissertation at theCollege of St. Mary (Omaha, NE)as part of her Doctor of Educationin Health Professions Educationdegree (Ed.D.) slated to beconferred in May 2018. Herdissertation was, "The Influence ofConceptual Learning on CriticalThinking Development for NursingStudents." The following committeemembers supervised herdissertation: Dr. Kristi Preisman,Dr. Kristen Mattson and Dr. AmyShaver.
