Maria College's 60th Anniversary Join us in celebrating on Wednesday, April 25 On April 25, 1958, on behalf of the New York State Education Department, the Board of Regents granted a charter to found Maria College. This year is a celebratory milestone as we look back on how Maria has evolved over 60-years--providing opportunity education in high demand careers to all who can benefit. This Wednesday, April 25, the Maria Service & Hospitality Committee will be serving cake, fruit and tea for all members of the Maria community in Marian Hall, Fitzgerald Court from 1pm- 3pm. Also join us in celebrating by sharing your photos and memories .

Last week, Associate Professorand Associate Degree NursingProgram Director, VictoriaCallagan,RN successfullydefended her dissertation at theCollege of St. Mary (Omaha, NE)as part of her Doctor of Educationin Health Professions Educationdegree (Ed.D.) slated to beconferred in May 2018. Herdissertation was, "The Influence ofConceptual Learning on CriticalThinking Development for NursingStudents." The following committeemembers supervised herdissertation: Dr. Kristi Preisman,Dr. Kristen Mattson and Dr. AmyShaver.
