In recent years Mares established an undeniable presence in the field of dive computers. From the incredible worldwide success of the Puck, an entry level, full featured dive computer, to the technology packed Icon HD net ready, including full color LCD TFT display and air integration. In addition, Mares offers the Puck Air boasting the most uncomplicated air integrated console computer, along with the Matrix; featuring the only full dot matrix display dive watch computer. When Mares introduced the Puck dive computer on the market in 2008, it sent a shockwave rippling through the industry: a super intuitive, easy to use, full-featured RGBM nitrox computer at an extremely competitive price. Our challenge is to maintain a leadership position in innovation and technology. All products are the result of this inspiration, and are built with the maximum attention to detail, both in the choice of design and materials: comfortable and resistant. In the 2013 collection there are four new BCDs. A new light backmounted BCD featuring the suspension system. Light and extremely comfortable thanks to features such as independent harness and aircell, shoulder straps with a wide range of adjustability and an integrated and removable weight system. Its extremely low weight and foldable backpack also make it ideal as a travel BCD. Due to the exceptional shoulder strap arrangement, with just 3 sizes we can fit most everyone. Did you want to buy a standard BCD, but wondered if later on youd end up preferring integrated weights? Dont worry anymore: the Prime BCD is offered as a standard BCD without weight integration, and a dedicated MRS Plus weight system module can be purchased separately; it is assembled in minutes and transforms the BCD into one with an integrated weight system.

A key feature of the Mares Jacket line is the Airtrim system, which replaces the exhaust valve and the standard inflator unit, combining them into a single pneumatically controlled device. Thanks to the patented Mares pneumatic Twin exhaust valve, divers can control their buoyancy with just two buttons regardless of their position in the water. The 2013 Airtrim line features two new models of Airtrim BCDs equipped with new flat valves with even better performance in a compact design. The Hybrid Pro Tec backmounted BCD confirms its success. Its modular: in addition to the aircell and harness, the rear side panels are also independent and can be removed. This includes the cargo pockets, the MRS Plus system, and the rear upper trim weight pocket. A BCD that really thrills everyone... from recreational divers to technical divers. Lets not forget the attention that Mares always pays to women with the She Dives line, which includes the Kaila and Hybrid BCDs in a womens version characterized by a cut designed for the female form.

The first thing you will notice when donning Hybrid Pro Tec is the perfect fit. This new level of comfort is achieved via special shoulder pads which are longer, pre-shaped and reinforced, and work in perfect unison with the lumbar suspension system. The new entry to the 2013 collection is the new Flexa Therm, utilizing ultrastretch neoprene ensuring maximum protection in cold water while also offering unparalleled comfort and fit. Trilastic continues to be the guiding philosophy in the way we design wetsuits. Intelligent placement of different materials of different thicknesses, combined with a smart choices of inner and outer linings, with the primary objective of maximizing thermal comfort on your dives.Mares wetsuits are split into three main families: Extreme, Elite and Prime.The Extreme line applies innovative solutions for maximum protection in cold waters (2ndSkin, Antarctica, Flexa Therm). Wetsuits in the Elite line are made of 100% ultrastretch neoprene and no detail is left unattended.The wetsuits in the Prime line are more traditional, although you will still find panels of ultrastretch neoprene strategically placed where they contribute the most.Mobbys, the well-known manufacturer from Japan, has long been a valuable partner of Mares and the results of this collaboration can be observed in the two dry suits, Tech Fit and Pro Fit. Tech Fit, which is a diagonal front zip

dry suit, and is manufactured in CORDURA500D paired with two sheets of Tarpaulin type PVC. One of the PVC sheets is combined with fine Aluminium powder to minimize the heat loss. Another sheet is hot melt type of PVC to make the glued seal tape watertight. The end result is a three-layer suit with excellent durability and thermal comfort. The Pro Fit is made in High-Density Neoprene. As density of neoprene increases, so does its ruggedness but usually this decreases flexibility. It is no secret, recreational divers want comfort. In order to meet this requirement, Mares by Mobbys HD neoprene, increases the density to the maximum extent possible, achieving maximum flexibility, as well as extreme durability.Both the Tech Fit and the Pro Fit are equipped with latex neck and wrist seals, Mobbys ultra flat valves (Palm Fit design) and integrated vulcanized rubber boots. The suit comes in a convenient dry bag, within which you will also find the hood (with valve) and the low pressure hose. At Mares, the synonym for mask is LiquidSkin. The 2013 collection has become even more attractive with the introduction of white as a new colour on some models. The most important innovation since the introduction of silicone masks is Bi- Silicone technology. In all of the current masks on the market, the skirt is made of rubber, silicone, or another medium-hard elastomer. All of todays masks are a compromise between the need of a hard material to provide support to the frame and lenses and that of a soft material to adapt to the contours of the face and provide a good fit. Until today, manufacturers have been forced to look for compromise solutions, since the skirt was made of a single material. Mares Bi-Silicone technology LiquidSkin greatly surpasses the current single material skirt technology. LiquidSkin incorporates two different types of silicone into one molded skirt: a firmer portion for support and a softer portion for contact with your face. The support structure and the area of the seal around the lenses are molded with a silicone that is 30% harder than in any traditional mask. The section that rests on your face is made with silicone that is 45% softer and 270% more elastic. As a result, the mask is stronger and more stable than any traditional mask, yet unbelievably comfortable and with a superior fit. In addition, the marks that are typically left on your face after a dive are mostly eliminated. The superior elasticity

and softness of LiquidSkin allows the mask to fit perfectly on a wider range of faces. LiquidSkin adapts to facial movement and offers a great seal, virtually eliminating water leakage. Equalization is easier due to the super soft nose pocket; its like pinching your own nose. Its lightweight and soft adherence to the face is so gentle that you forget you are wearing it. The Sunrise masks are dedicated to the Asian market and wider faces because of the special geometry of the skirt. The skirt is broader, while the space between the lenses and the face has been reduced. The nose pocket is smaller, with less volume than the traditional version.

The Ergo snorkel family was designed for maximum performance both for scuba divers and snorkelers alike. From one end to the other, the ergonomic shape fits perfectly to the side of the head. All three versions have a corrugated flex hose made using high quality silicone and features a snorkel keeper which can be adjusted in many positions. All three have an exhaust valve in the mouthpiece for prompt purging. The mouthpiece is moulded in soft rubber for greater shock and wear resistance, also to properly host the exhaust valve.
