Undergraduate Research Assistant
In correlation with Dr. Michael Stark and Dr. Jeff Barrow, Brad Haynes and I investigate the
involvement of Wnt signaling in craniofacial development. Our research takes into special
consideration the Wnt 1 gene's affect on neural crest cells.
Physical Therapy Attendant
At USH PT, my responsibility as a volunteer was to over see the proper exercise routine for
varying patients. I ensured they completed the developmental routine and oversaw safety to
themselves and to others.
Commercial and Residential Finish Carpenter
With a background in concrete work, it was my privilege to learn the basics of finish
carpentry in both a commercial and residential setting. I was able to finish the summer with
new skills in the artistry of woodwork by being involved in completing projects that were
later exhibited in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Apart from expanding physical labor
repertoire, I believe developing these fine skills will someday make me a better surgeon and
doctor.
Transport Volunteer
As a transport volunteer at Banner Health in Gilbert, Arizona I was required to properly
oversee specific patients moved within the hospital and their discharge following their stay at
the Gilbert campus. Apart from patient transport, it was my duty to deliver specimens to and
from all wings of the hospital.

Property and HOA Manager
As a property manager at HUB Realty I was to be sure our 600+ properties had no external
or internal issues. I was responsible to coordinate work orders between subcontractors,
owners, and tenants to be sure the tasks appointed were completed correctly. I was also to
alleviate any complaints homeowners associations would often bring to the attention of the
company. Apart from occasionally filling in for other employees and constantly monitoring
phones, I was to assist in any special projects.
Customer Service Representative
My primary responsibility as a CS Rep was to handle the flow of phone calls and be available
to assist customers with the financial aspects of their contracts. Aiding these callers included
taking precise payments, explaining obligations, and describing basic legal processes
regarding their account as described by the FDCPA. Each client was unique as we serviced
hundreds of different, international developers; it was my responsibility to know the intricate
details of each.
