SUNDAY BIBLE STUDIES

“Stuff They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday School - Through Palm Sunday,

we will be using individual lessons from: “Stuff They Didn’t Teach

Me in Sunday School “ by Bruce Wurdeman, a retired Executive Director

of Lutheran Hour Ministries. These lessons will focus on Jesus’ ministry

while on His way to the Cross and Resurrection.

“Blessed are the Peacemakers”- Come and learn from God’s

Word how to live, proclaim, and cultivate a lifestyle of reconciliation

in the midst of relational conflict. Each week we will focus on

different aspects of our life in Christ and the responsibility that is

ours to serve as peacemakers.

GRACE GANG

Matthew and Luke both record parables from Jesus. In Matthew 25,

Matthew writes about the parable of the talents. Luke 19 accounts for

the parable of the minas. Though these parables are similar, they are not

identical. Both parables are about a master who gives money to his servants

and then goes on a trip. When the master returns, he judges the servants

for their faithfulness—in their stewardship over what they possessed.

LENTEN WORSHIP SERVICE AND SOUP SUPPER

Join us each Wednesday at 7:00pm as we reflect on the Sacrifice Jesus made for us on the Cross. Join us for Soup Supper and Fellowship before Worship at 6:00pm in the Family Life Center. Please bring a soup to pass a sign up sheet is located on the bulletin board in the Gathering Room. Thank you!

TUESDAY MORNING MEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Tuesday morning Men’s Bible Study meets at 6:30am every Tuesday

morning here at Grace in the Conference room. We have started a study

that looks at Justification and what that means for us as followers of Christ.

As we walk with Christ on His way to the Cross this Lenten season, we

will study the question:

“What does it mean that we are justified before God apart from works of

the Law by grace, on account of Christ, through faith?”

We will explore the teachings of Scripture, our Lutheran Church and how others

believe that we are made righteous before a Holy God.
