EASTER EGG HUNT
CHPC excited to bring our Easter Egg Hunt back to Easter Morning on Sunday,
April 1st @ 10:15am! Families can expect age-divided egg hunts, yummy
treats, the chance to interact and connect with other local families, and some
surprises! So grab those Easter baskets and make plans to join us! We look
forward to seeing your family soon.
We Need Your Help- In order to make this
Egg Hunt a success we need your help
getting the candy to fill up those eggs and
prize bags. Outside of both worship
spaces you’ll find 2 tubs where you can
drop off candy you’ve purchased to help
out with the Egg Hunt. Please make sure
the candy or treats are individually
packaged. This makes for a safer and cleaner experience. Thank you!
MAUNDY THURSDAY AND EASTER MUSIC
Our Maundy Thursday evening service and our 11:00 am Easter service will
have special music from our Chancel Choir. We are inviting persons from 6th
grade through senior adults who enjoy singing to join us for these services. We
will be rehearsing music for these special services each Wednesday evening
from 7:15-7:45 in the choir loft. We would love to see our choir loft full of youth
and adults as we express our praise and worship through song.
Want to stay for the full rehearsal? You are always welcome!
Questions? Contact Carlene at [email protected], or call 423-335-0981.
SENIOR TRIP
The Seniors are invited to go to the Repertory Theatre, in Jonesborough, on
Saturday, April 14, to see I Love A Piano. The bus will leave the church at
11:15 am to go to lunch at The Black Olive. The play begins at 2:00 pm.
Please contact Ann Johnson at 423-7774 to reserve your spot. Cost is $12 for
the play, and must be paid at the time you reserve your seat. (Payment is due
at the time we book our reservations.) Reservations and your $12 is due by

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR POSITION: As you know, our church has
begun looking for a Children’s Ministry Director. But did you know the best
way to get the word out about this position is to talk about it? While we
have a great way to express interest once someone is aware of the job, it’s
really up to us to find and ask that special person. We can’t rely solely on
our church website, Facebook, etc. for raising awareness. We need your
help in recruiting people you believe have a special gift for children’s
ministry. For the full job description go to www.churchstaffing.com and
enter Kingsport, TN. Applications can be made online by registering (basic
membership is free!) and posting resumes on www.churchstaffing.com or
by sending the resumes to [email protected]. We are advertising the job
on our church website and other social media via http://chpres.org/
search. Check it out and spread the word!
