Water is one of the prime elements to keep our life system healthy. Quality

of drinking water is very important in the way to have a good health in our

life. We need purity in water as we drink. Water quality degradation is

becoming one of the greatest threats to freshwater sustainability and

availability, Action is needed to improve water quality and quantity

management. Improving water management by encouraging conservation

and investing in innovation to improve water efficiency can benefit the

environment as well as the economy. If water quality and quantity are not

maintained, it is not just the environment that will suffer, the commercial and

recreational value of our water resources will also diminish. The conference

also aims to facilitate networking opportunities between scientists of

different discipline backgrounds i.e. economic, social and natural sciences,

as well as between scientists, water managers and policy makers.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Ÿ To provide forum for exchange of scientific knowledge, research

on system knowledge, modeling and uncertainty.

Ÿ To develop environmental education programs that help the

community understand how their actions affect water quality.

Ÿ To assist in the development and application of local, national
