February brought a leap day, and March is leaping closer too. Highlights this March-madness month, need I say, will be our Student-Led Conferences, where we celebrate learning, and our Spring Break, where we celebrate family and general down time. However, before we can even talk about these exciting events, we have a more exciting event to look forward to: Glenwood’s Rainy Day Carnival… March 6! Thanks to PAC for organizing this fun-filled event. Please, touch base with PAC if you can help out! At Glenwood, we not only celebrate academic learning, but we believe Social Emotional Learning is the basis of all success. March 11 – Dance-a-thon March 12 – Early Dismissal @ 11:30am for Parent-Teacher Conferences March 13 – No Class – Parent Teacher Conferences by appointment March 16 - 27 – Spring Break – SCHOOL CLOSED March 30 – School re-opens and classes resume Please refer to Glenwood’s website calendar, and/or SD42’s calendar for other important dates. Student-Led Conferences Students will be dismissed early on Thursday, March 12 at 11:30 am to allow for conferences. Conferences will be held during the afternoon of March 12 (pm) and all- day Friday, March 13. Please ensure your child attends the conference with you at your appointment time. Please connect with your child’s teacher if you have not yet scheduled a conference time. Leaving Early for Spring Break? Please be sure to let the school office know if your child will be leaving school early for Spring Break. Please watch our schools this March Break. Every year School District No. 42 spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on clean-up, repairs and protective measures directly related to vandalism. Help put these dollars back in the classroom where they belong. If you see any suspicious activity on school properties, please call: Anti-Vandalism Hotline 604-466-4357 5-8 pm

February brought a leap day, and March is leaping closer too.

Highlights this March-madness month, need I say, will be our Student-Led Conferences, where we celebrate learning, and our Spring Break, where we celebrate family and general down time.

Return Bottles to Support Gr. 7 Camp

Please help our Grade 7 class by returning your beverage containers to the Bottle Depot's Return It Express!

3 Easy Steps:

1. Bring unsorted containers in a clear plastic bag to any Express Location (there are 2 in Maple Ridge)

2. Use this phone number to log into the kiosk: 6044636512

3. Print your tags, tag your bags and leave it at the Depot

We are also holding a Bottle Drive on Saturday, March 7 (starting 11 am) at the Haney Bottle Depot, #2, 22935 Lougheed Hwy. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
