To quote Demmer Design & Construction Committee member Tom Asbeck,
“We can see there is a light at the end of the tunnel – and it is an LED light!”
On December 18th the exterior lighting was installed and lit up the building
for the first time - making these longest nights of the year extra special. The
masons also finished work on the stone fireplace with stone that matches
the outside timbers.
As the construction finishes, January brings us to the next phase, including
installation of shelving, furniture, technology, and maybe even moving some
of the books.
Are you fostering books? Your books should have had their due dates
changed to 3-1-2019. We will begin recalling books once we are mostly
moved in, starting in February. If you have any questions or concerns about
returning books in February, please call the library at 715-546-3391 or
email [email protected].
